You could always come running up now, and tell Calene that Father (what's his name) back in town needs her for something and you volunteered to bring the message out and help the group.
As we have not crossed the bridge, nor entered the "fort" yet, that might be the easiest way to do it.
Personally I don't like the "find the prisoner" option unless there is absolutely no other way to do it. It always comes off as even more contrived then the "you are needed back in town and I'll replace you" option.
However, DM call and YMMV
Though intriguing, the Prisoner idea has complexities with Stone's gear that may be more than we want to deal with at this time.
The Sheriff likely knows where Shalelu will make camp. I could see the Sheriff sending some help, maybe by small boat.
You would need to fall back to the camp. This may be better than returning to Sandpoint.
Do you agree to fall back to camp? The Stockade seems to be on alert, so there is at present no element of surprise.
Falling back to camp would work for me.
And for me, as I think we need some time to sort ourselves out, and hopefully end up not looking like a walking puncture wound. :)

From the other Goblin's the party finds 10 Dogslicers, 10 sets of Goblin leather armor, 10 small wooden shields, 5 shortbows, a sling, 5 stones that actually radiate Magic, 10GP, 35SP, 105CP. The Goblin Druid also had a pouch with 10PP & 15GP.
and Checking the Magic items for their properties takes 3 rounds per item.
The Cloak a +1 Cloak of Resistance. The Wand on the ground was a Wand of Produce Flame with 30 charges. The other Wand is a Wand of Tree Shape with 4 charges. You determine that it is a suit of +1 Leather Armor. I'll give you too, that the five Magic Stones are +1 Sling bullets.
Strange how these settings get changed. Try it again.

Problem is the size thing. you will be taking a -2 penalty for an inappropriate size.
However, grabbing the bow and arrows is not a problem, as there were 5 bows, and probably lots of arrows. :)

On the real life biting us in the butt front. We just got word that they may have to induce my wife's labor a little early. Our due date was supposed to be Feb 10, but they may induce as soon as next week. I'll do my best to let you know ahead of time, but I may not get the warning myself. I know I'll be busy when he comes, but I also know that sitting down to write up the game will be a quick, nice diversion, so I may not miss any time at all. First child so almost all of it is unknown ;)

Guys, sorry about my absence. My wife was admitted on Wed for an emergency c-section and my son was born about 4 weeks premature. Mom and baby are doing fine.
I just had no wifi access for a while at the hospital. I should be back to normal in a day or so ;)

So just an update on things for me personally. My son is still in the NICU, but that's routine for a premie. He's eating really well (like a pig!), and they had him under the lights because he was jaundiced (again completely normal for any baby, but more of a concern for premies). Everything else is normal, and believe me they tested EVERYTHING. As long as he keeps eating and getting rid of waste, we should be able to take him home soon. My wife is sore, but doing well. So I'll try to maintain the one a day post at least, but things have calmed some after the chaos of the birth and getting my son stable and doing well.
First, I am pleased to hear that Mom and Son are doing well. A big congrats is in order. If you ever make it to the Atlanta area, I would love to treat you to a nice hearty Ale, or glass of tea, whichever you prefer. :)

6PM to 6AM is a brutal shift. I could see that requiring quite the adjustment. Again I will hold off GMPC your character, until over 24 hours have passed. I know that life gets in the way. And that is cool. This is after all only a game.
