I am still trying to see how what Kelvin says comes across as mean. In my Homebrews, anything useful found was given to who could use it, and did not factor into treasure splits. In fact, in the last two campaigns, one player kept a combined party treasure.
But here I am just the GM, it is up to the party to decide what methods to use. I would recommend at some point you pick a party leader to help move game play forward. But again, that too is your decision.
I've never really thought much about "hoarding treasure" To me if someone has a use for it, it should go to them. I've never been one to count that as their "share". Then take the stuff that can't be used sell it and split that. Eventually the usable items tend to even out over time.

No one was saying you were, just the way things worked out this time.
Next time, it might be Garrath, or myself, or Kelvin, and you just get the cash. :)
I know that it is hard to remember all the details, but just for clarity, the pendant was pulled off a dead Goblin in the Glassworks. The MW Ranceur itself was on the statue. And the book on Lamashtu was in the Levitating room. It was one of Erylium's favorite reads. ;)

Hoo, got some catching up to do. My internet is going to be wonky (sort of phasing in and out) until Thursday at home, but I should be able to post with relative regularity until it's fixed.
I'll take horse number seven. How can I say no to that glorious mane.
I agree that 24 miles is reasonable.
I agree with the proposed loot system. Useful stuff is "free," and everything else is split.
None what-so-ever with Weapons and Armor. Though the AP says she has a restrictive amount of MW stuff, I changed this to that she would have most things in MW. Her real limitation is that she has only the one Magic Crossbow. At 3rd and 4th level characters should be able to obtain MW items.
Sorry, I thought we were still with the Armory. Yes, any General Store item was +50%, but when Calene is with you, Ven Vinder will actually give you a 10% discount.
Yes. This works. You must have a clear path though. I was actually surprised you didn't go around the trees that would put you in front of Shalelu. At the moment you do not have a clear path to Charge. You can move and attack without a Charge.
Never mind about my earlier comment about moving in front of Shalelu. I see now that there was some Difficult Terrain to negotiate that would have prevented a charge. It makes sense that conditions would have to be just right to Charge in a Deep Woods environment.
Someday I will need to throw a Bullette out in open terrain at the party so your Cavalier can really have some fun. ;)

lol, Yea moving to charge in woods is a bit of a bear, which is why I moved where I did.
Now, if People actually move, I will have a route, which is what I am hoping for.
If they haven't moved by the time my initative would have come up, I will just ride in and attack, hoping to distract it from the fallen horse.
That would have been too much at the start of an adventure. I moved off the random encounter list for Burnt Offerings. It had more Goblins and Boars. Boring! This was straight off the Forest encounters from the Bestiary. Plus I could not resist this Classic D&D monster.
Kelvin and Shalelu both stuck the beast with two arrows. But it was Garrath's big crit that made the difference. And made it a quick fight. It did show the vulnerability of standard horses in the wild. Eventually, the party will need to look at Warhorses with barding, except Brandark of course.
@Garrath - It looks like your stat block is still at 2nd level.
@Brandark - Even missing the crit, you would have done more damage than Garrath's crit. Abacuzar would have done more than you. If Kelvin had missed his last arrow, you would have done some major league "wup ass." Owlbear would be really dead.

For a few levels at least, the fact that Abacuzar will do more damage than me, wasn't unexpected. By about 5th, it should start going the other way. :)
I am actually intending to turn Abacuzar into a combat turtle, in that he should be able to take a lot of abuse, and be in the thick of things with me.
he still has more HP, than I do. :)
@Brandark - I meant to note this in the Gameplay thread, but Shalelu listens intently at Brandark's instructions concerning Abacuzar. She is good with animals, but not great; so she appreciates the time spent with this formidable creature.

May not be affected by armour or weight, but don't want to overload.
right now, with my axe left behind, I can carry about 50 ish pounds of extra stuff.
Thinking about it, your right, what dwarf would leave an axe. ;)
Seeing as we haven't gone to far, can I retcon that I have my axe ?
After almost 14 hours sleep, my wife decided it was chore day, so just getting to updating the pbp.
For those of you with young kids (my granddaughter is 2), be nice to older relatives who watch them for you. My wife and I are in our mid 60's and two days of watching her is tiring!
