From here it is up to the party to decide how to proceed. Even broken such an old holy relic would command a high price in Bard's Gate, or they could decide to pursue the necromancer and whatever was released from the tomb. Options for adventure here are broad and wide starting in Bard's Gate. As I said, this is sandbox so it is up to the players where they wish to go.

I would love to pursue the Necromancer, but unless Naomi nails a couple of saves it could end here for her.

Also, are there any knowledge checks that she should take that no one else has covered? She has seven skill points to use and nothing is super pressing, so any recommendation of Knowledge?

I'd be sure she has a point in everything except religion, just so we can be sure to have at least a class bonus modifier to every roll.

After you get all of them covered, then you can start to specialize in whatever weakness we have, IMHO.

Naomi, Almery will help with your Fort Save. It is only a DC of 13 and you are getting a +4. If you fail it is only a d3 of Con. What are your mercies Hagrym? Nevermind, you don't get mercy until 3rd and remove disease as a possibility until 6th.

Yeah, I suppose we should get all the inscriptions written down. Those are probably important with the construction or repair of the scepter.

We can stay for one more day, and clear out the above rooms, but I'm worried about Naomi.

Ok Naomi 2.0 is ready, I feel a little guilty that she doesn’t have bardic knowledge so I looked at the groups knowledge skills and tried to round it out a little. Brv if that is too much metagaming let me know and I will change it.

Some round numbers on leaving for Bard’s Gate, its one hundred miles away, those with 20 ft movement travel at 16 miles a day, without forced march, those with 30 ft at 24 miles a day. So Naomi reaches Bard’s Gate in five days, late morning. So she needs five days to get there and get well.

The cure is 2 consecutive rolls so even if she saves the first day she still takes the damage to Con and Dex. Worst case scenario she rolls three’s on the Con and she is dead on the road in four days.

Ok, if she makes the save in the morning she will stay one day, if she fails she’s headed to Bard’s Gate, alone or with company. If she stays one day the next morning she will make a roll, if she succeeds it’s all good, if she fails she needs to head to bard’s Gate. Unless there is someone or someplace closer.

The Tradeway between Freegate and Bard's Gate is fairly well maintained so you will make a little better time, at most four days to Bard's Gate. Let's get the game rolling so we can get to that save roll. I am betting you made it.

Moved this over here so, lets let Cyrus post before we leave the crypt, he may want to say or do something. We still need to use the wand to heal everyone, whether we role play that or just roll it is up to him. Then we gather the palanquin, get everything we find, get all the info off of the doors and report back to the priest Almery, role-play that and go to bed.

If we need to do something else somebody jump in!

Oh, maybe check and see if out prisoner actually took the oxen and horse to the village like he was instructed ;b

Hi! Wasn't quite paying attention to levelling up. I've been a bit stunned with a really persistent cold.

Here's the new HP for level 2 for Turvijagal:
level 2 hp: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Pretty average. Will also take +1 to HP for levelling up, instead of +1 skill or FCB. So, the basic bits for Turvijagal at level 2 are:

HP 16 | BAB +1 | FORT +1 | REF +8 | WILL 0 |
gets Evasion (woo!)
takes the Offensive Defence as his level two rogue talent

I'll sort out the rest and add it two his profile sometime today.

Know the feeling Turvijagal, been fighting a nasty cold all week:( The CHA based is how the DC is based on the creature meaning the ghoul as undead have no CON so their saves and HP are based on CHA. Fort Saves are based on CON. So if you up your CON you up your Fort Save:) With your +1 you will be getting +4 from the heal check, +2 from bears endurance and +1 for the touch of good, meaning you will need to roll a 5:)

A quick perusal looks ok:)

Biggest issue I see for the party getting to Bard's Gate is a few of you have no rations. It is going to get quite lean! Does everyone even have a waterskin? You need 1 gallon of water per person/day and 2 pounds of food.

I have rations and a water skin. But, is it possible that we could trade some of the items we won to the villagers for more potatoes and water? I'd bet they could use some of the items, and sell them for more gold than the vegetables would cost them.

That way both of us would prosper.

After that, I agree with Naomi's proposed plan posted 2 hours and eleven minutes ago.

Ok, Turvijagal, your issues as I see it are not with armor check penalties but weight. You are just a tad over showing medium encumbrance which is a -3 on those checks. Dropping below 58 lbs and you are ok.

Indeed. Moving the family to Denmark for wife's new job. Excited and scared at the same time. Don't speak a lick of Danish and it appears to be one of the most difficult languages to learn out there (no Rosetta Stone to help either). At least most there speak really good English and we will endeavor to learn Danish as best as possible.

Humans get +1 skill each level, then +1 skill for FCB, then 2 for class and then 2 for Int bonus, so he gets 6 skills per level after all is said and done.

While not as skill heavy as Naomi, I was trying to make sure Cyrus could help out somehow since he isn't a martial cleric build. His first wave of stats were designated for his prior gambler life, but barring us returning to a poker heavy side quest, this will be more of a standard skill dump for him. :)
