I think we should just follow through with taking the children to one or more of the "good" temples. Maybe one temple would take all of them, or maybe we can leave a few at each one. While we're at it, we can drop by the Gray District and zoom past burying Maria's head. Hell, if we leave the kids there (heh), we can kill two birds with one stones. Pharasmin priests are always in demand.
Mavarro does not really need any gear at the moment, so I am all for giving everyone else's stuff an upgrade. Unless we want to go for more healing, in which case a wand of cure light wounds is an option.

Alternately, 3k is nearly enough by kingdom builder rules to make a 'staggering amount of low-income rental properties'. Which we could give to the kids! Teach them to be slum lords from an early age!
Really, though, sans the rioting, simply adding more space to Ila's (or anyone's) home and teaching the remaining children some professions they're interested in seems like the simplest option. A profession with no rent lets them buy their own food, and then splurge or save... at least in the long run.
Yeah, if you honestly wanted to, you could buy them some property. Gods know there's a ton of unoccupied property now with all of the death ;)
They've been work-slaves for a terrible criminal for awhile, all of them. If you can't find their families, they can take care of themselves relatively well. It's just whether you want them around with you or you want to drop them somewhere else that's gonna take them.

Ila and Maria would definitely support the 'Orphanage' option. Especially given what's going on currently. We're gonna need a lot of beds if we can't find a way to stop all this rioting...
And this has become much more complicated for me, as I don't really feel a connection to Ila anymore. I'd have a lot of trouble picking this campaign back up if it did start moving once more. I'd be willing to try, but... Iunno.

Yeah, Isilme's on Hiatus mostly indefinitely, methinks. So I'm just gonna personally press on while pulling the little rebel out to doing 'other' things, at least for now.
As a heads-up: Today is my last day at mthe first job I ever had. I've worked here for just shy of nine years... But I've decided I need to move on to a job that pays better... As a result, I'm going to be picking up a lot more hours at work, changing my schedule in the process, and ultimately having a lot less time for those things and people that I love. That being said... I'll become less of a post hog in the majority of my games. Things might change in the future, but at the moment, I'm hoping to continue playing in my games.
If this one doesn't start back up... I can understand. At least two people (probably more) are doing the 'life happens' thing.
