Friend: You can move through a square occupied by a friendly character, unless you are charging. When you move through a square occupied by a friendly character, that character doesn't provide you with cover.

Opponent: You can't move through a square occupied by an opponent unless the opponent is helpless. You can move through a square occupied by a helpless opponent without penalty. Some creatures, particularly very large ones, may present an obstacle even when helpless. In such cases, each square you move through counts as 2 squares.

Ending Your Movement: You can't end your movement in the same square as another creature unless it is helpless.


You can move through friendly squares with no penalty. but...I don't think the ogre has any cover so....

The spear thrust goes in a large eye and the ogre is fatally wounded. He drops with a thud to the chagrin of the goblins rooting for him to save them.

Update Round 5
Morgan, the hobbit, the wizard and finally Morgan take town the ogre. Morgan's finale is impressive and deadly. Crom swipes at a goblin and it goes down. The cleric misses his goblin.


As Mit'l killed the ogre, he could move after the kill. Theorn and Crom had yet to act, so they moved too after the ogre died. The rest had already acted.

The goblin concentrate on Crom.
Five goblins attack with nasty knives, and two fire shortbows.

With all the goblins swarming around Crom, it is difficult for Morgan to pick a clear target. She drops her bow and draws her short sword. She steps forward and strikes at the goblin directly in front of her.
