Round 2 recap
After waiting for the spell, the orc known as Longtooth slumps to the ground. Before he can get up, Arik and then the dwarf on the right side him into next week, leaving him a splatter on the floor.
Things do not work out so well on the left side. Warchyld fires first targeting the bear orc, but being shaken from the taunting affects his almost perfect shot. As it arrives, the bear orc brings up a shield of lacquered wood of the finest quality to deflect the arrow enough it doesn't penetrate the links of chain that hang from his body. The shield with the emblem of Ulek the Bear orc carries is a thing of beauty and the arrow does not even scratch the fine finish on the shield. He easily slips blows from Mott and Xanthar.
Ozymund to go(completing full round spell leaves him a full round action too!) then orcs. I ordered parties actions for maximum effect and least amount of interference as you could go in any order.

OMG … even when the GM is rolling Mot's roles suck!

Desperate, Mott knows there's not much he can do. He's too close to use his spear on the Bear Orc. He could strike one of the other females, but then he'd be down … at least now he could draw an orc's attack, maybe saving a standing fighter. If he withdrew he would certainly be killed.

To stay standing all Mot does is take a 5' step, standing over the fallen wizard, and blocking the path to his still standing allies.

The claws are vicious. 3d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 1, 4) + 6 = 12

Word reaches the Keep that the might battle of Raging Boar Hold lasted for less than ten minutes, but is was a fight of ferocity not often seen. The brave adventurers fought to the last man, trying to keep the orcs from holding the field. At the end of the day, the might of the Raging Boar Hold was broken. Reports by a scouting duo from the Keep mentioned five female orcs and a pack of young carrying a huge orc off to the hills.

Adventure still becomes on the fringes of Ulek? A dwarven kitchen worker looks anxiously from the walls at night, waiting for word about the three dwarves that went missing that day.

There is another spot marked on the map. The Unknown Dungeon. What could be there?

We can reset with any of the characters--names can stay the same.

Morgan awakens to a throbbing pain that seems to resonate throughout her entire body. The cold stone of the cave floor burns into the side of her face.

She remembered the battle, and the viciousness of the orcs. She could feel that the cracks in her ribs had not yet healed. How long have I been out? Where is everyone?

Slowly rising to her feet, she is surprised to find all of her gear is still with her. Either the orcs are all dead, or they left in a hurry. I should be dead and stripped bare by now...perhaps even spitted and roasting over a fire, she muses silently to herself.

She walks slowly, gingerly toward the light that she assumes to be the mouth of the cave. As she steps into the light, she sees the bloody remains of her companions, several orcs, and...others....

"Warchyld?!" she gasps, as she looks down on the fallen half-orc. Unable to move quickly, she tenatively lowers herself down to feel his neck for a throb of life's blood. She sighs in resignation as her hand is greeted with the stillness of death.

"You got your wish," she says sadly. "You killed them, and with your own death, there was one less filthy orc in the world. The gods rest your trouble soul."

She hobbles out of the cave into the light of day. If I'm lucky, I'll have gotten far enough away from here by nightfall. If not...

She sighs again, and cinches up her armor straps in hopes that they will keep her upright long enough to reach the Keep.

Keep walking, Morgan. Keep breathing. That's the key.

Morgan almost trips over the body of a man lying just outside the cave. By the look of his clothing, he appears to be some sort of wzard or sorcerer.

She slowly lowers herself down to check for signs of life, and finds that he is still warm and breathing faintly.

"Do you happen to have any magic on your person that might save us both?" she asks the unconscious man, as she opens up the pouch at his belt and begins to rummage through it.

I knew it! she exclaims silently, as she produces two small vials of bright blue liquid marked with the sign of Pelor from the pouch. Wizards always seem to have enough money for luxuries. Good thing...for both of us.

She carefully removes the stopper on one vial and drinks it.

She then gently lifts the man's head, and pours the second vial into his mouth.

Lost! how can I be lost!

He had been traveling with a band of mercenaries when they had been waylaid in the night. He had been nestled in between two great roots of an enormous oak tree and the raiders had not seen him there. By the time he had awoke and gotten loose of his bedroll the raiders were making off with most of the gear the company possessed. None of them ever noticed he was there at all.

He checked his companions, but the raiders were efficient and there was nothing he could do for them except speak a prayer for their souls. How had he cheated death again he wondered as he did his best to bury the dead.

He had been wandering the wilderness for the better part of a day when he stumbled into a huge canyon. Near its mouth he sees something, a man he thinks, lying prone near a cave mouth.

He hurries toward the cave, the hint of danger overwhelmed by the hope for the company of others.

Hello, is anyone there. he calls in a hushed voice as he approaches the entry to the cave. Seeing as he does the mangled body of a young hunter on the ground.

"Shhhh," Morgan cautions to the inquisitive voice. "Over here. Move quietly."

She sees a young man approach, dressed unmistakably in the regalia of a battle cleric of Pelor.

Cave of Chaos, indeed. They take and give with no rhyme or reason.

Theorn starts at the voice from the darkness, he had not really hoped to find anyone alive after seeing the mangled corpse in the cave mouth.

He makes a mockery of moving stealthily as he enters the cave.

"I am coming, are you injured?" he whispers to the dark.

"By the gods...what happened? Where are the orcs??"

Ozmund still has the sweet after-taste of a healing draught on his lips as he suddenly, and painfully becomes aware of his surroundings.

He sits up, still slightly dazed and battered, but it seems that the potion has erased the worst of his injuries.

A young human male, dressed in the colours of Pelor and armoured as a warrior arrives beside himself and a woman dressed in rough leathers; leads the wizard to believe she is some sort of hunter.

"I guess we won?", he inquires to the two standing with him.
"I could use a little healing, if it were possible. I am still quite week, and not sure what happened."

He gets shakily to his feet and surveys the surrounding battlefield. From the placement of the sun he realizes that at least a day has gone by...maybe more.

"Win is not the word I would choose," Morgan replies. "Between your party and mine, we are all that remain."

She looks back at the mangled corpses of the dwarves, as well as the body of the half-orc.

"I knew those dwarves only a short time, but they fought valiantly against a ruthless foe. These caves seem to bend luck like a willow tree in a strong wind. Their bravery and battle skill proved to be no match for the ill-fortune allied with the orcs."

She stares at Warchyld's body for a moment, and sighs sadly.

"Warchyld was a good man who could not see the good in himself. I hoped one day that he would..." she trails off, and sighs again.

After a moment, she composes herself and stands, helping the wizard to his feet.

"I am Morgan Iron Wolf, a ranger and goblin-hunter."

She extends her right hand in greeting, offering it to each of the men.

"If you would be so kind, Son of Pelor, I too could do with the healing touch of your god."

"I am Ozmund the Evocator. I was lucky enough to be part of the force that came upon your party. Warchyld was a great warrior and died in glory killing the orc's champion!"

I am Theorn, well met. It is unfortunate that I did not arrive earlier for maybe I could have saved some of your friends.

He moves to each of the staggering survivors and cast a cure light wounds on each, losing his memorized bless and shield of faith.
