Why don't we try scouting the owlbears, following them back to wherever they nest? I have decent stealth and invisibility so that might work. Once we know if they're being directed and if so who by, we can make some informed decisions whihc are the best sort of decisions :)

Sounds like we have a decision! Find the owlbears, fight them till they retreat and then some of us to go invisible and follow them when they run away.

hey all! sorry about my lack of posting lately. I am in Texas and in the middle of this crazy ice storm. we lost power and water for most of the week, just now getting everything back to normal. luckily we avoided any lasting damage so far (burst pipes, trees falling, etc). I will be trying to catch up on all my games today and tomorrow, and as long as we keep our power on I should be back to a normal schedule.
I hope everything is going all right with you Elyas, from my perch here in Canada I fully sympathize with being unprepared for cold weather. Hopefully everything gets back to normal soon!
Also, sorry for the delay on my end everyone, work and the weekend just kind of screwed me out of a lot of time.

Some good thoughts in gameplay, I can't imaging that Herge or the treant are friends with evil fey. They might even be willing to help, if we ask them. Is it worht the delay in heading back to ask them for help/advice, or do we jsut want to get on with the fight?
Herge is probably still nearby, so if someone wants to ask him I'm good with that. I'd rather not take the time to go all the way to see Longfrond before we head to the fort though.

A brief update. My Covid shot went well, but I got tied up trying to get a youtube video done and could not post last week.
My company vacation period ends June 30 and their preference is that I use my remaining vacation for the year before then. Due to this I will be away June 4-7, 12-20, 25-27 and July 1-4, plus likely the evening before those periods getting ready for the trips I plan on taking. I will try to get at least 2 posts in per week still (except the week I am gone entirely) so please make sure to post promptly after I do. Hopefully this doesn't end up making things grind on too slowly.
On another note, the weather for this summer is looking to be pretty great so enjoy the outdoors if that's your thing!

Sorry for the delay, I was waiting for Carthas to post and forgot he had said to bot him. I was a bit gun shy of doing much with 3 players and 5 summons to bot, and the korreds were fleeing anyway so I figured a quick end to the combat was best.
How do we want to continue forward? Lyndis is my GM in another game that has been inactive for a month. Annelise is out for an indeterminate amount of time, Carthas should be back now.
The above player accounting done, we have 4 players able to continue onward with Annelise hopefully returning in a reasonable timeframe (2-3 months at worst I would hope). I think that we can continue to push forward here with 4 active party members for now.
I'm happy to continue with our current players.

Hi all, Im' sorry for lack of posting. I mentioned earlier about pain issues and it's been worse this last week which is a 'good sign' cos it means the nerves are all stil there and I *should" make a full recovery. Dowsnside is everthing hurts right now, sitting lying standing. They're not increasing my pain meds cos it's "jsut a phase" and it won't last which is the srot of thing you get to tell pepol when you went to med scholl apparently. (I have a phd and *years* in postdoc research in biomed but whatever)
Anyway please bear with me. I'm doing the best I can.
No worries Annelise, take all the time you need and I hope you can recover quickly. Don't stress about this game at all, and make sure you recover well.

I am going to try and adjust things on the fly for 3 people, but this campaign was designed to be a bit on the deadlier side so bear with me. If you'd like me to recruit another player let me know. I have some good ones in the Kingmaker campaign I am running that might want in.
with potentially 2 people going away, it would be good to bring in at least one more, especially if they are someone you now will be a good player from another game.
I concur with bringing someone else into the game, just to help round out numbers.
