@Falcon, you couldn't push the guard post over, but its not the most stable structure. The four legs are essentially just 8 inch diameter trees. An it would definitely need all four legs to remain standing...

:: Lamashan 5 - Afternoon - Chernasardo Forest ::

Olivia sprints forward, while Alezandu, Elyas, and Claustipher prepare for the impending battle. Falcon descends the tower after calling out what the hobgoblin forces are doing.

The goblinoids going around the front of the camp get to the ravines edge and Olivia can see the worg simply scramble up it until upright and can get its paws over the eight or ten foot high ledge. Then the worg jumps and heaves itself up onto the plateau. The hobgoblins and bugbear are not as able. The bugbear reaches the ravine wall first and braces its back against it, using its knee as a step and helping the two hobgoblins scramble up.

Yellow: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 2 = 12
Blue: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 + 2 = 15

Seeing his chance, Alezandu fires an arrow at the worg. The shot whistles through the trees before lodging itself in the worg's rump. You hear a low rumbling growl of pain from the worg.

Miss Chance (low 20): 1d100 ⇒ 33

The bugbears near the stairs start their trip up, but one stops at the landing getting its weapon ready staring up at Olivia. The other bugbear stops near the base of the stairs, still gathering its wits after coming out of the barracks, while two two hobgoblins behind it limber their bows.

The two hobgoblins by the fire draw a line on Olivia and fire a pair of arrows at her. Both fall short and hit the ravine.

Cyan and Red vs Olivia

Cyan Longbow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Red Longbow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

From the top of the stairs, Olivia can another goblin with a wolf come out of a tent looking around and sniffing the air.

Round 3 - Claustipher, Falcon, Goblinoids, Worg (-15), Olivia, Alezandu, Elyas
Round 4 - Claustipher, Falcon, Goblinoids, Worg (-15), Olivia, Alezandu, Elyas

Go again everyone. Olivia, what weapon are you weilding?

:: Lamashan 5 - Afternoon - Chernasardo Forest ::

Olivia pours healing energy into Alezandu in time for him to fire another volley of arrows. Alezandu's first arrow misses its target, while the second strikes the hobgoblin in they eye and it drops to the floor of the tower dead.

Elyas moves out and empowers his companions with a blessing, while Clautipher remains in cover.

Falcon begins to slip, but grabs the edge of the tower with one hand and pulls himself up into the tower while tossing the last hobgoblin to the ground. The hobgoblin lays still where is lands.

From the top of the tower, Falcon can see the rest of the camp. M5 Along the edge opposite the animal pen a long canvas lean-to seems to act as a barracks of sorts, able to sleep 6 to 10 people. M4 Another canvas tent with many fresh cuts poles sits near the palisade, and odd steam coming from inside it. M6 The last thing Falcon sets his eyes on is a tent that is much better made than the others. Hanging from its exterior are the flayed skins of a dozen or more people, faces twisted in grotesque caricatures of pain and anguish. This is most certainly Scarvinious' tent.

Falcon also sees a lot of goblinoid troops moving about. One bugbear is racing for the stair case, while two hobgoblins by the fire take aim and shoot at Falcon. One arrow thuds into the tower side, while the other nearly strikes true. As Falcon flinches out of the way he feels something pull and stretch more than it should. 12 VP damage for Falcon.

Cyan and Red vs Falcon w/ Cover

Cyan Longbow w/ FE and Range Inc.: 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 - 2 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 = 6
Red Longbow w/ FE and Range Inc.: 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 - 2 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 2 = 12

Around the arrows he's dodging Falcon also notices a great wolf like beast, a bug bear, and a pair of hobgoblins moving to come around up the hillside instead of trying for the stairs. As well as a few slowly moving and confused hobgoblins near the barracks tent.

Round 2 - Claustipher, Falcon, Goblinoids, Olivia, Alezandu, Elyas
Round 3 - Claustipher, Falcon, Goblinoids, Olivia, Alezandu, Elyas

Two dead so far, a lot more on the way.

:: Gozran 2 - Late Afternoon - Oleg's ::

@Roke - Sorry, I knew I had forgot something. Unfortunately, if they were in the area you were not able to convince them to appear while to waited. You may fare better by leaving your offerings and returning later.

Yennifer nods to Rillka at her mention of the 'tall folk' doing the negotiating, "A good mind set to have, Lady Cloudhopper. To often there are too many cooks in the kitchen. If you wouldn't mind I would love to review your maps." Turning to Zade and Andreas for a moment, "An Abadarian contract expert, an escort, and an introduction would be wonderful. Let us discuss the particulars after I have a moment to peruse these maps." Turning back to Rillka, "Do you happen to have your map here? And what is your opinion of the kobolds we will be speaking with?"

Keston addresses Andreas, "Well if Akiros is planning on leaving the Outpost, and you lot go exploring again, how are my men and I supposed to hold out here if those orcs return, or if the giant beast of a bear we've seen decides it wants to make the trading post home?"

Oleg looks at Kazmuk, "That is great news indeed Master Dwarf. The forge will be most welcome here." Oleg goes quiet for a moment, seeming unsure if he should press his luck. "Do you happen to have much knowledge in walls and masonry? We... could likely do with expanding if possible, especially if more people are planning on coming."

:: Lamashan 5 - Afternoon - Chernasardo Forest ::

Reeling from the attack, one of the hobgoblins seems to duck down quickly, returning into view with a horn in his hand. The hobgoblin puts the horn to his mouth and blows a long, powerful note.

The other hobgoblin pulls out a bow and looks out into the forest. After a moment it snarls and looks directly at Alezandu while drawing his bow. The arrows burst forth, striking true and hitting Alezandu in the chest. Breath escapes Alezandu, and he can feel the bruising happening, but his armour holds and keeps him from more serious harm. Alezandu takes 22 VP and 3 WP in damage.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Cyan vs Alezandu
Longbow w/ FE: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 = 27
Damage w/ FE: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 2 = 5
Longbow w/ FE crit?: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 2 = 25
Damage w/ FE crit?: 2d8 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 7) + 4 + 4 = 17

As the horn note drops away you can hear the sound of goblinoid cries from the ravine.

Round 1 - Claustipher, Falcon, Red(-12), Cyan(-11), Rillka, Alezandu, Elyas
Round 2 - Claustipher, Falcon, Red(-12), Cyan(-11), Rillka, Alezandu, Elyas

Everyone's up.

:: Lamashan 5 - Afternoon - Chernasardo Forest ::

Alezandu fires an volley of arrows, both hobgoblins crying out in pain.

Falcon reaches the tower and starts the climb, not making much headway as he slips and gets a couple feet off the ground. The tower support wobbles a bit as he struggles, not being very sturdy. Falcon has 25 feet to go.

Claustipher, Elyas, and Rillka prepare for what is to come.

Rilka: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Hobgoblins: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Round 1 - Claustipher, Falcon, Red(-12), Cyan(-11), Rillka, Alezandu, Elyas

Claustipher and Falcon are up.

:: Gozran 2 - Late Afternoon - Oleg's ::

Svetlana and Oleg both smile, and Svetlana speaks, "Thank you for starting this, it will be wonderful to start getting some more civilization out here as people arrive."

Oleg, "I'll lose my peace and quiet, but I came out here to make a trade hub and this is a great start!" Oleg looks around and his eyes settle on Kazmuk, "Master Dwarf! I hope the supplies are correct for your forge, let me know if you need anything else or any help with it."

Yenniffer, her demeanor interested but reserved, "Which of you are mapping the area? I presume one of you is? We need a map to these... kobolds and likely an introduction. And who will be negotiating the agreement between Svetlana and the kobolds?"

Keston, his voice a bit flat and uneasy, "And what has become of Akiros?"

Interact with whomever you'd like to, don't feel like you must respond to all the questions to post and ask your own if you like to.

:: Lamashan 5 - Afternoon - Chernasardo Forest ::

The group sneaks close to Scarvinous' Camp near the tower, hiding in the trees. All of you can feel a stillness in the air as you preapre to act.

Did a more thorough read through to get up to speed. Please place yourself in the red outlined area in the map. Then roll initiative and take a full turn in initiative as the surprise round instead of the normal only move or standard. Good luck.

:: Gozran 2 - Late Afternoon - Oleg's ::

With the imminent threat gone, the people in Oleg's go about unloading the caravan and keeping watch from the towers. Everyone is in high spirits, some come up to the group to thank them for their help and make small talk.

Just before supper, Oleg requests that all of you gather in his trading post with himself, Svetlana, Yenniffer, Henry, and Keston.

Once everyone arrives, Oleg looks to Andreas "So what's this Henry has told me about a home and a job out here?"

Oleg doesn't look cross, just expectant.

Kazmuk can start making the ring right away, the forge does not need to be completed.

I'll have a post up tonight moving things ahead to a discussion with the main NPCs about the situation.

I've finally updated the map, I also outlined the area to be explored in red just for reference. Progress wise your about 1/2 through the hexes it looks like.

Outstanding things to deal with:

Kazmuk - create and staff a forge - it looks like you calculated out 20 days for the forge to be erected. That makes the forge operation on Gozran 22. Let me know if that makes sense.
Kazmuk - Craft a ring for the faeries. 12 days to do this.
Kazmuk - Miners/guards for the gold mine. I'll say they can get here in 24 days as its about 170 miles one way. So for numbers sake thats Miners x 3, Laborers x 10, Guards x 5. The price of 440 gold assumes that they keep their own regular living spaces/lives. I suggest we use the 440 gold as their start up fee and then they can siphon off the mine to start a small settlement for their families as they move them here.
Zade - write up a radish caravan contract to present to the kobolds and caravan. This will take 2 days to make sure that its all proper and in languages everyone can understand.

Contract writing: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Dwarven travel: 1d6 ⇒ 5

With the above noted times and things to do, I mainly need a direction from you all on what you want to do day by day now in case you decide not to stay here long enough for some of those things to finish up.

I hope everyone had a good couple weeks. Tomorrow I am going to read through some stuff again and try to get a summary/next steps up and then we can figure out whats next.

I hope everyone had a good holiday season. Given Olivia's note above, is everyone okay with me starting with initiative for attacking the look out tower on Wednesday January 8?

@Rillka, there's not much benefit on a large scale for mapping the regions around Oleg's in detail. While small groups of 5-8 could move around relatively unseen in the rolling hills, any large force would likely be easily noticeable.

Just letting you know I'm still here. I figure I'll probably give you guys until January to roleplay and plan out your next moves at this point, We won't get far with much in the next week or so before the holidays and I'd prefer not to rush into something and get stuck with people not around.

I'm going to put the game on pause until January, its better to stop here than try and struggle through a round of combat with 2-3 players being botted.

I'll check in again on January 2-3 and we can see where we go from there. Merry Christmas and happy New Year everyone.

Sorry Alexandra I dont want to post with just you having gone. I've got a Christmas party tomorrow night so I'll post Saturday now.

Guys is everyone around to post still or are the holidays filling up a lot of time already?

Hey Kazmuk, can you send me a link to the rules? I can't seem to find what you're talking about in the Pathfinder Unchained section of the PRD

I'm busy tonight/tomorrow, but I will move the game ahead with everyone ready to ambush the camp. Please set yourselves up on the Scarnivious camp map above the red line and list any preparation you want to do before the battle. Remember that casting spells will likely be noticed if it happens close to the enemy so pick a distance you want to cast at and then move up, reducing the spell duration appropriately.

:: Gozran 2 - Late Morning - A Skirmish at Oleg's ::

Everyone at Oleg's quickly begins to relax and enjoy their good fortune. Yenniffer's crew starts to unload their wagons, some of the goods are for you so Oleg brings them over and distributes them.

Anything that you had ordered that was on the caravan has now arrived, including the supplies for Kazmuk's forge.

:: Gozran 2 - Late Morning - A Skirmish at Oleg's ::

As the other orcs pack, the large orc looks at Andreas as he speaks. When Andreas is finished the orc merely nods, and goes about yelling at the others. In about 10 minutes they are trotting off west towards the forest.

As the orcs depart, the ambushers ride around them and return to Oleg's. Oleg, Henry, and Keston all walk up to Andreas.

Oleg, "Well... I never expected them to just up and leave. I guess they can count, HA!"

Keston, "Well good riddance. Though we should have pressed our advantage to remove them permanently."

Henry remains silent, frowning slightly at Keston for a moment before shaking his head.

Just want to let you know I'm here watching the discussion.

:: Gozran 2 - Morning - A Skirmish at Oleg's ::

Andreas moves forward, his voice booming across the potential battlefield. The orcs look to each other, then the largest nods and the others fall back into the camp and being stuffing items into sacks rapidly.

The large orc steps forward and shouts in broken common, "Your words.. they seem true.. We pack and leave.. We were told of fewer men at this place and do not wish to fight..."

If allowed to, the orcs will pack for about 10 minutes, then retreat west towards the forest.

:: Gozran 2 - Morning - A Skirmish at Oleg's ::

Andreas slowly moves his mount forward, until he is about 100 feet from Oleg's. The others follow a bit more slowly, trailing about feet behind Andreas.

Andreas is currently about 300 feet from the camp, if I remember the distances correctly.

The orcs draw together a bit more as Andreas approaches, making a few distinct groups. None of them appear to have bows, but are all in various amounts of medium or heavy armour with large weapons.

For the returning ambusher's sake, you are about 500 feet from the orc camp and I think about 700 from Andreas. I can't find any specific reference to distances, but you are basically due west of the orc camp 500 feet, with Andreas about 300 feet north from the Orcs. Let me know if I've messed that up.

They are still waiting, just at the edge of their encampment instead of behind their palisade.

:: Lamashan 5 - Afternoon - Chernasardo Forest ::

Falcon and Alezandu head out to scout keeping a safe distance, but getting close enough to see as much as possible. The two quickly find that the thicket to the south of the camp is all but impassible without taking many minor injuries from the thicker, and swing around to the north side to see what they can.

Scouting along the northern edge of the camp you notice the following:

1 - Closer study reveals that the ravine is about 10 feet high near the palisade, and grows to 50 feet high at the far end by the watch tower.
2 - A large patch of briar (the green blob in the camp) breaks if the camp, obscuring a view further back, while the edge of the ravine hides the rest from view.
3 - M1 is an open field with knee to waist high grass and no obvious dedicated trail through it until about 5 feet from the gate in the middle of the pallisade
4 - M2 has 4 hobgoblins with light/medium armour, bows and, swords similar to the other 'scouts' you seen. There are a pair of bugbears with them in light armor with maces
5 - M3 looks like it used to be a cage for animals of some sort, but the gate is left open. A goblin, a wolf, and a worg are all resting/lounging inside it.
6 - M7 is a 30 foot tall tower, with two hobgoblin scouts in is keeping watch. There does not appear to be any ladder or method for climbing to the top of it, though there does appear to be a trap door in the floor.

Whoops. The camp in my other game has a palisade. This one does not. No Roman Orcs here lol. And yes you can get your mount.

Whoops. M7 is a 30 foot tall watch tower on top of the ravine. At the bottom of M7 are stairs leading down into the ravine. Sorry for the miss.

:: Gozran 2 - Morning - A Skirmish at Oleg's ::

The two groups watch as the orcs start getting up and moving around. They put their armor on, grab their weapons and crowd near the edge of their palisade. They watch the group in front of Oleg's for a while, not exiting the safety of their walls. A couple of the orcs can be seen walking over and watching to the west, as though looking for their missing companions.

:: Lamashan 5 - Noon - Chernasardo Forest ::

The group travels onward for another few hours, following the trail and trying to find signs of any other hobgoblins.

Eventually, you notice that the trees open up into a clearing about 150 feet wide by over 400 long. The part of the clearing nearest you is flat and covered with tall grasses. It looks like the trail vanishes into the grass.

After maybe 30 feet, the clearing climbs upward along a hill. In the center of hillside, a ravine has been washed out by the flow of water over the years. Knee-high grass covers this gloomy clearing. To the west, earthen walls rise to form a steep-walled ravine in the side of a
low hill. Thick briars grow to heights of eight feet to the south. A makeshift barricade of sharpened logs has been erected to close off much of the ravine, and a single gate hangs loosely on iron chains near the palisade’s center. Faint trails through the grass form strange loops and nonsensical paths. Greasy campfire smoke rises up from within the camp beyond the palisade, filling the air with a hazy smog. The din from within is constant as hobgoblins shout at each other, wolves yip and howl, fires crackle, and troopers brawl.

Congratulations, you've found Scarvinous' camp. I've updated he top with a new map.

:: Gozran 2 - Morning - A Skirmish at Oleg's ::

The gates of Oleg's slowly swing open as the men push at them. Lightning stumbles out of the gate, trying to look ill at ease with their weapons, spread out and extended too far.

We're going to keep using the grasslands map. Keston's men are in green, Henry's in red. I'll spice 'em up a bit for the actual combat, just wanted to give you an example of the spacing.

The group walks about 50 feet from the Outpost, trying to get the orcs to fall for their bait. In the distance, you can see the orc guards rousing the others, and armour being put on, but it doesn't appear that they are going to sally out yet.

Returning from their ambush, the Kazmuk, Zade, Rillka, and Gird return to their former look out spot, finding a small squirrel with a note. As the group reads the note, they can see a force leave Oleg's and walk out towards the orcs.

Two items here.

1 - I will correct myself, you should arrive back around 10 am. Still an hour late for the fight, but I was off by an hour.

2 - We should probably discuss what the average timetable looks like for an adventuring day. We are definitely working off different assumptions and it seems to be causing confusion and annoyance, and I would like to stop that going forward.

Here is my assumption of an adventuring day:

6 am to 8 am - wake up, morning prep, breakfast, gear maintenance, etc.
8 am to noon - travel for 4 hours
noon to 2 pm - lunch
2 pm to 6 pm - travel for 4 hours
6 pm to 8 pm - set up camp, supper, more gear maintenance last watch goes to sleep
8 pm to 10 pm - whatever people want to do
10 pm to 6 am - 8 hours rest, watches

Now, I realize that this setup is based on my biases and experience with backpacking. Unfortunately, it also has to bend around the 8 hours of travel rule, my experience with live stock and horse care, prep times, etc.

If anyone would like to propose an alternate "regular" day then I'm cool with that, but the above is what I have been basing times and such off.

All that said, without knowing the above assumptions, it'd be hard to tell me if you wanted to leave earlier to get back sooner. So I'll bend time a little and get everyone back in the game now (I mean its about 1000% more fun with everyone involved). Next time, I'll try to communicate timelines a bit more clearly with any party splitting.

Anyway, post coming up soon.

Falcon Acrobatics vs DC 15: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Your intentionally jumping, 1st 10 feet in non-lethal. With a DC 15 acrobatics you ignore 10 feet of damage. So only 1d6 non-lethal for you.

Non-Lethal: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Falcon hurls himself from the tree, flying through the air. AS he begins his descent he realizes he is going to land perfectly adjacent to the fleeing creature. As Falcon's feet come level with the hobgoblins head, two arrows erupt from the hobgoblins back. Falcon lands beside the hobgoblin as it falls over dead.

Take what time you need and congratulations! I hope all goes well and its a joyous occasion for you.

:: Gozran 2 - Morning - Oleg's ::

The men quickly get into position, hands on hilts, prepared to draw once they get out beyond the gates

Keston and Henry each take a position near their men, looking back to Andreas for a moment.

"On your signal Andreas." Keston says.

I'm not sure what to do with the Ambushing crew at the moment. Its about 8:30 am at Oleg's now that everyone is prepared to start he attack. Ambusher's will return around 11 am. If you guys have any ideas or want an interaction with someone let me know.

:: Lamashan 5 - Noon - Chernasardo Forest ::

Just reread Ki Throw, it allows a much more brutal reposition than the combat maneuver.

Falcon chucks a hobgoblin out of a tree, quite effortlessly it seems.

30 ft Fall: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6) = 12

I think I wrote 30 feet somewhere but can't find the reference, correct me if I'm wrong.

As one hobgoblin lands on the ground severely injured, Elyas attempts to disarm the other one. Unfortunately all Elyas gets is a blank stare from the hobgoblin as he yell at it.

Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Claustipher and Alezandu let go another salvo. Both attacks hit, killing the hobgoblin.

The hobgoblin Falcon tossed from the tree stands and begins to flee.

Falcon, ELyas, and Olivia keep hustling. Well placed channel Elyas. I've bot-moved Olivia up a move action

Alezandu's arrows get closer, but still miss wide of the hobgoblin, while Claustipher hits one with a magic missile.

:: Gozran 1 - Evening - Oleg's ::

After Andreas lays out the plan, a small cheer erupts from the people inside the palisade. Henry and Kesten come forward.

Henry speaks, "Your plan is a sound on. Hopefully we don't need to venture too far out to seem a tempting target."

Keston speaks, "I and my men will gladly lead the vanguard and be the last in the gate!"

Yenniffer goes about preparing the camp for the inevitable battle to come.

The people in the trading post work for the rest of the night and wake and continue preparing in the morning.

Counting Roke as a ranged combatant and Andreas as a close combatant, your numbers add up to 8 ranged, 13 melee. 3-4 strong merchants and Oleg will work the gate to keep all your fighters in play. Let me know if you think the numbers are wrong.

Let me know what/if you want the animal messenger to be sent. Also you can decide to jump in at any time of day on Gozran 2.

:: Gozran 2 - Late Morning - Looking At Oleg's ::

The four members of the ambush party make it back to their original waiting site and see a marker likely left by Roke letting them know they are in Oleg's.

You may want to wait until Roke sends an animal messenger to make decisions.

Sorry guys a bit short on time today and tomorrow. I'll update Wednesday. Feel free to continue planning or roleplaying the trip back to Oleg's.

:: Lamashan 5 - Noon - Chernasardo Forest ::

As Alezandu, Oliviam and Falcon attempt to melt into the forest, Elyas bravely continues up the path.

While sliding into the trees, Alezandu searches for the enemy. After a quick search, he looks up slightly, and sees two tree blinds about sixty feet further down the trail, a hobgoblin archer in each of them and a rope ladder dangling alongside the tree. The two hobgoblins have an arrow knocked, heads turning from side to side searching for those headed into the woods.

:: Gozran 2 - Pre-Dawn - Camping Out ::

@Gird - I didn't mean to make it sound like you approached closely, your a few hundred feet away and just in eye sight. I mainly just needed a sneaky type for some scouting exposition, I wouldn't force an engagement like that.

@Roke - That was just for those on the ambush timeline.

The group heads back to Olegs.

Not too eventful, but I am going to pause and let Roke/Andreas finish up their evening. If the party stops after a bit to prepare/prey as required then they will get back to Oleg's around noon fully prepared for anything.

Just a note, any caster haven't had a chance to prep/prepare for an hour if required. You otherwise have the required 8 hours rest though.

Having just woken and packed the camp as quickly as possible, the group sneaks towards the sounds of the orcs. Gird in the lead by about a hundred feet, he sneaks a head to the edge of some light tree cover.

A group of orcs, about ten strong, seem to have found the ambush site. The orcs have dragged the three dead side by side and have started setting up a camp about a hundred feet away, likely to try waiting out the day.

:: Lamashan 4 - Evening - Chernasardo Forest ::

Heading across the rope bridge, the party heads off west looking for Scarvinious. As the day draws on, the party trudges slowly through the woods. As the day draws to a close, you come to a large corner in the river, north of the Old Hermits hut. About three hundred feet from the river you notice a well trodden path.

You are at the end of the green line. The path heads in the direction of the red dashed arrow. I added another arrow showing the path headed North from the camp you cleared out.

I'm just waiting on what the ambushers would like to do. Scout, flee, etc. For Roke/Andreas, feel free to plan with those inside the outpost as much as you want.

I'm busy tomorrow, but I will either update on Tuesday with whatever plan you decide on tomorrow, or with leaving the bridge intact and then heading west to keep scouting (I will note my description of the path on the far side of the river said it went North, just a reminder)

:: Gozran 1 - Evening - At Oleg's ::

Climbing over the wall into Oleg's, Andreas explains the situation to Oleg and Kesten. Both men look excited and fearful at the thought of the caravan riding in through the open gates.

About a half hour later, the caravan comes up close to the walls and Keston's men heave on the gates, swinging them wide open. The orcs all seem to jump up at the same time and start sprinting toward the gate.

As the orcs close the distance, the wagons pile into the Trading Post with minimal order, only trying to get as far in as possible without killing off the horses. As the orcs close to about 300 feet the last wagon gets into the outpost and Keston's men pull the gate shut.

"Here we are, as promised." Henry says to Andreas, Oleg, and Keston.

:: Gozran 1 - Evening - Watching Outside Oleg's ::

Sitting and watching the orc camp, Roke watches as a wagon caravan piles into the trading post and the orcs jump up and try to catch it.

Not having anything else to go on, Roke leaves a sign for the rest of the group and returns to Oleg's.

:: Gozran 2 - Pre-Dawn - Camping Out ::

The night passes peacefully enough, the cool air making it easy for everyone to stay awake on watch. Near the end of the night, Rillka looks about, keeping her companions safe. As the first rays of the sun begin to edge their way over the horizon, Rillka hears what can only be described as an angered shout.

The shout seems bestial and somehow familiar, accented enough with the orc tongue that its safe to assume it comes from one. The shout is coming from back in the direction where the orc ambush took place.
