Seeing that the skeletons were further away than she had anticipated, Malka retrieved her wand to use instead of her quarterstaff. She pointed her wand at the closest four-armed monstrosity and hurled a ball of force at the creature.

Stay gathered together, it'll be safer - Jeyne began, but between her mind and lips the words twisted into the alien tongue she knew only from her far past. Putting herself between the injured Zaken and the closest of the skeletons, she brandished her spear, waiting for one of the creatures to get within reach.

Delaying action until something gets within reach. I don't want to break everyone up too much. If something gets within reach and is engaging someone else in melee, I'll do an aid another attack for +2 to AC for whoever it's attacking.

“Looks like that one had friends.” Camrad said, turning to Zaken and, putting a hand on his wounded arm, channeled radiant energy.

The healing light stitched the worst of Zaken's wounds, leaving a jagged scar in it's wake. “My bows not gonna be much help so keep close and hit ‘em with everything you've got.” he said, hefting his hammer as he stared down his foe.

Seven growled and gripped his sword tight, stepping in front of The Jeyne to keep himself between the too-many-hands and the others (especially Malka). Counsel Mintbane sure wasn't making this easy.

The smelly thing lurched forward, claw outstretched. Seven hopped back and to the side, deflecting the attack. Then he dug his back heel into the ground and drove the sword forward, impaling the skeleton like a pig potato on a roasting stick.

Malka had taught him to roast potatoes over an open flame. He realized he hadn't eaten in a while and wondered if there were any potatoes in his pack. He didn't much time to consider, though, because there were more skeletons approaching. He kicked his blade free and crouched, his blade drawn upright beside his head.

He thought, then pointed back the way they came. “Everyone form up by the doors. That way we can force them into a choke point.” then he turned to Malka and Zaken. “Make sure you stay behind us when we move back. Some of ‘em might reach us first.”

Zaken felt the healing working and could not help himself but smile. "Thank you, Mr. Camrad... Come LEEK, get im position to better defend the group."

This healing sensations is indeed pleasing... perhaps I was too quick to judge that situation between Mr. Camrad and Val...

LEEK moved north, closer to Jeyne.

There sure were a lot of the skeletons moving in now. Camrad was suggesting they move back, while Zacken wanted to move further into the cave. Seven didn't know what lay ahead of them, but at least they knew what was behind them. Maybe if they could make it back to the cave entrance, they could cut the skeletons down one by one.

"Back! Back! Get back to the door!" he shouted urgently, beginning to step backward, keeping his face to his foe.

Seven's shout and Camrad's follow-up were just a hum to Jeyne, a strange buzz that faded to the background as her senses sharpened in response to the danger. But as Seven began to back down the path, she began to piece together their intent. Her steps mirrored theirs, and she glanced backwards toward the narrow corridor that would offer them some measure of protection from the swarm.

Double move with everyone else back toward the doors. I'll get behind Seven in line so I can keep him going if need be.

So it sounds like you will retreating into the 'entrance' on the west side of the cavern.

In my head, it's Seven and Leek in front with Jeyne and/or Zaken behind for healing, Camrad and Malka behind for ranged. If I'm wrong, let me know. :)

I think so, even if Camrad at ranged against the skeletons is useless because of their DR. Although, if we use the entrance of the tunnel (instead of the door) we'd be protecting one of our flanks and allowing Seven, LEEK and Camrad to attack and, with luck, dispatch at least one skeleton each round.

They moved slow and made a low of noise, so he was able to block the first attacks. But as he pivoted around with his own swing, his sword struck the stone wall, causing a loud clang, and he faltered. His blade merely swung harmlessly over the nearest one's head.

From between Seven and Leek, Jeyne stabbed out with her spear, trying again to distract the skeletons and keep them from being able to attack Seven as effectively. The party's defenses were as good as they were likely to get, but it did come at a cost - fighting between the two front-liners meant she had little space to maneuver, and at the last moment her spear bounced off of Leek's leg shielding as he stepped, and the point went well wide of the skeleton.

Seven obeyed, turning to run back into the safety of the hall and away from the Doctors and their rats. He spun 'round, trying to reclaim his senses. He realized, shamefully, that he had run away. But he was hurt, really and truly. Unbidden, Zacken's words rang in his ears. He then remembered about Jeyne's 'glitch' and restarted in Androffan. Jeyne, if you could, step back and give me a little space to reach LEEK... he might need some repair in the immediate future...

With that said, Zaken made a couple gestures, retrieved a handful of grease from his gear and threw it at the skeleton's feet. Malka tried to keep herself from panicking as Seven was ripped to shreds by the skeletons. So many arms and so many claws. She felt helpless to do any real damage against those hurting Seven. Doing the only thing that she could, Malka conposed herself and used the wand again knowing that it would continue to add to the damage dealt to the skeletons. The missile chipped away some of the ribcage of one of the skeletons but it kept clawing at them.

Once more, LEEK attacked. The skeletons were keep coming and being destroyed by his fists...

Attack (slam): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Critical Attack? (slam): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage (slam): 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1) + 4 = 6
Critical Damage? (slam): 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10

...and once more, another skeleton was pulverized, scattering bones around.

"Well... that was impressive... if these things could fell fear I'm sure they would have been running already..."

Zaken then studied the damage LEEK received. With able hands, Zaken reached for a switch inside the construct body and activated a manual nanyte storage and in a matter of seconds, LEEK was already fully operational.

Lesser Rejuvenate Eidolon: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

With most of the threat neutralized, Jeyne decided to risk stepping out from the narrow passageway back into the openness of the sandy room. With her spear, she tried once again to distract the creature - but instead of interfering with the swing of its claws, she tried to draw its attention and leave it open for a strike from Camrad. But the creature did not fall for the ruse; its attention remained firmly on Camrad, and her spear did little.

Move to get me in the square above Leek. Standard to attack for +2 to Camrad's attack.

Aid another for +2 to Camrad's attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Nope.

Action 1, Round 8

Sorry for the lack of a post. Been super busy today.

Camrad yelled out in pain as the bony claws went through his flesh like butter. “That the...best you...can do?” he said, grinning weakly. He tried raising his arm for another strike, but found that it wasn't responding as quickly as he would have liked. Damn, lost too much blood. Could use some help here Oldman he thought, quickly running his hands over his more grievous wounds before taking a half step forward and driving his hammer into a rising strike.
lay on hands: 1d6 ⇒ 3
warhammer: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

He felt relief as his wounds began stitching themselves closed, but it was soon replaced with frustration as the skeleton easily dodged the clumsy strike.
Healing as a swift. Attacking as a standard. Missing miserably as a free action.

Action 1, Round 8

Following Jeyne's example, Zaken bolted forward, leaving the entrance of the tunnel and, with his spear, tried to open the skeleton's defenses, making it easier for LEEK to attack.

Aid Another (+2 Attack-LEEK): 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20 What a waste :(

LEEK then moved forward...

Acrobatics DC 10: 1d20 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 4 = 12

...and managed to stay firm on his metallic feet. Engaging the last enemy, LEEK once more attacked...

Attack (slam), aid another: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22
Damage (slam): 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 6) + 4 = 11

...and crushed the last enemy.

"Ah... you are a machine, LEEK... well of course you are..."

male

And that about does it. The last alien skeleton pulverized by Leek.

Go ahead and roleplay the 'after the fight' and let me know what you will do next so I can move the story forward later today.

The final skeleton demolished and her sharpened vision beginning to fade, Jeyne immediately knelt and began to examine the skeletons, her eyes at once assessing the bones and far away. Four upper appendages...a spadelike skull, unlike the more common round skull seen in Golarion humanoids...an otherworldly creature, almost certainly...

What kind of knowledge would it take to identify what sort of creature the skeletons came from? Local, maybe? Though I'm pretty sure kasatha aren't local. ;)

Then Camrad's pained groan brought her back to reality, and she rose back to her feet. There are injuries - does anyone require magical healing?

I've got two cure light wounds left.

Seven retrieved the other potion from his belt and offered it to Camrad. "For...emergencies," he said, nodding in agreement with himself. Tag Camrad

He approached the bodies and poked them with his sword. Searching bodies.
