I just realized that I probably need to explain my character's limitations a little, since not everyone has played with her before. She's a paladin of Shelyn, so she believes everyone can be redeemed. She gives enemies in combat a chance to surrender, and will insist on their kind treatment. She will not lie, but she can tell a partial truth (i.e. give one reason out of several) or stand by while a companion lies if it's necessary for something important, like protecting an innocent life. She also must do what she can to protect art.
In other words, she's not playing 'lawful stupid,' but occasionally her companions may need to work around her paladin code a little.

I apologize for my absence. I've been down with food poisoning. I'll catch up and post soon.

I'm sorry if anyone doesn't like the direction I've been taking this encounter. I tried to hang back to give others a chance to choose, but if you let the paladin choose, you kind of get your options reduced by her code. If anyone else jumps in insisting on the other course of action, Hania can still grumpily concede, but not for much longer.

I must apologize again. I had a relapse.or my kids are trying to kill me. Unless they succeed, I will post later today.

I need a bit of GM clarification on the situation here. I'm concerned that Hania will fall if I agree to go along with this evil plot. And I know this is a matter of GM decree. I'm trying hard to find a compromise here. If I were playing the stereotypical 'lawful stupid' paladin, I would have attacked the woman for even making such an evil suggestion. If I were emphasizing the lawful, I would insist that we immediately take Thalia somewhere to report to authorities on her father's lawbreaking. Instead, I'm choosing to emphasize the good and let her make a choice. Others seem to be pushing to just allow this evil plot in return for a successful mission. I need to know that I'm not risking a Fall for Hania if this is what the group decides. I'm pretty sure a level 1 character doesn't even have the resources to pay for an atonement, so the character would just be dead.

You wont fall. Its really hard for a paladin to fall. And in the end it would fall into the category of 'the greater good' if you hand her over. Your character wouldn't like it but wouldn't fall. And while not really lawful, what they do here isn't evil. Its politics. Just like what we do today!
That said you can take her side and fight here. It's totally up to you guys. Its an interesting scenario and in person Thalia's personality would be easier to get across. Shes kinda a b$~*+ and very much so on a high horse. In fact the fight with the merc if you dont talk through it she tries to stop it. But if it then stops she so snoody about the fact she stopped the fight it makes the Diplo DC's go up against the guy. Shes that annoying.

Out of curiosity, what's the text of the boon that we did not get? I'd like to know in case I decide to run this in the future.

Yes, but if it's not too much trouble I'd still like to know. You should be able to copy/paste from a PDF.

Allies from Andoran (Taldor faction): During your time in Andoran, you acquired one or more allies who will aid Lady Glorianna Morilla in creating a new Army of Exploration. Mustering such a force will require more time before you see it pay off, but you know that Lady Morilla remembers and rewards her allies well.
Corruption Uncovered (Andoran): Honoring the request of Major Colson Maldris, you sought out and uncovered corruption in Andoran. Discovering such immorality in the fledgling democracy has taught you to be increasingly suspicious, and once per scenario before you make a Sense Motive check, you may add a +2 bonus to the check.
