”My paws are too small for all these,” he complains. ”When you’re ready to move on, let me know.”

The stairs lead up to the building.
The southern half of this spacious chamber is divided into two metal containers that stretch up to brush the ceiling. Large corrugated doors on the containers’ fronts have been painted with crude symbols. On the eastern end of this room is an unmarked door, while the area opens into a hallway to the west.
Foundry engineers and scientists were constantly attempting to innovate, but not all projects were destined to come to fruition. When management determined that a failed project held nothing of value, all unusable prototypes would be scrapped (though, of course, all records of the research were saved). However, potentially profitable prototypes or useful side products were stored in these two containers, with an eye on perfecting them before they could go to market. In practice, most of these projects ended up lying here forgotten as employees came and went.
The first kish of Istamak to discover this area were maimed horribly when they fiddled with a piece of strange equipment. Though they fled, they returned to paint warning symbols on these doors, believing the dangers within were punishments from their ancestors for attempting to learn forbidden knowledge

Zane also spends a resolve to heal up while waiting for the others. Resolve: 7/8. @ GM please note Dash also rested. His resolve is down to 9/10 but at 50 SP .
Zane picks up the new laser Rifle. He holds the party up as he takes out his chalk and Sharpie. With the Sharpie, he writes the word " Puppa" on the laser. Zane sees it as Bubba, but the depth perception from the third eye is still getting a bit of getting used to. Plus his hand writing is pretty bad.
He also adds 4 long check marks and 2 shorter checks.
With the new armament properly taking on the old identity (kind of like how they name every new Killer Whale "Shamu" at Seaworld) he is ready.
He stands up, with chalk in hand, and gives a long check mark onto the flying metal body frame of Messelina.
Good job there Lina! You deserve that kill mark for The Slime.
Zane can't take no credit. S+$@. All that Bubba did was laying down misguided cover fire.
He gives a nod of respect to the flying drone and takes up position in the front to open the doors that Coach tells him to open.

Zane has decided, being right handed, starts making his way down the hallway. He turns right at the + cross. Making a right and going to the first door available.
He gets ready to open when the others have moved forward and want to proceed.
Anticipating close quarters, he puts away Bubba and uses the glove to spring forth Boingo.
He gives the hand signal.
3-2-1 (the fingers disappear) and he opens the door.

@Draka- West. You came from the stairs to the east.
As you cross pass the closed off containers to the south a loud BANG! is heard against the door, causing Draka to jump in the silence. Looking back the south western door is dented outward from something within. BANG!....BANG! More dents begin to form.
Moving past Zane, Vetch, and Abe begin to investigate the norther offices.
These nearly identical offices were used by the Foundry’s operations staff (payroll, staffing, etc.). Nameplates are attached to the wall outside each office. They have been converted into meditation cells by the kish, each containing a simple woven mat and several crude bowls coated with driedup paint. Pilgrims would sit in silence in these rooms until they felt moved to paint something (usually something relating to their lives), and as such, the walls are a confusing riot of colors and shapes. Xavra and his warriors don't look to have participated in this rite since locking themselves in the temple.
In one of the southern offices lies a deceased Kish warrior. The corpse is burned in places, and two of its limbs are clearly broken.

After looking down at the charred corpse, the vesk shakes her head sympathetically at Dash's observation. Robot not know difference between burned and drowned. Draka need make sure robot not give first aid... "Poor robot. Maybe time ship whisperer upgrade?" Draka's words are inquiring, thinking it must be Abe's job after observing the way he cares for his drone.
”Draka!” He calls without looking. ”Abe’s got passcodes! No need to kick the sh!t out of every door you see!”
Draka bares her teeth and looks down, disappointed and a bit annoyed. She liked having an excuse to show off her brute strength. And she didn't like what she saw as a defective robot giving her orders. To distract herself, Draka picks at a fake eyelash with two hot rod red painted claws, making sure the lashes are still glued firmly in place. They were. The eyelash glue, like the rest of Draka's makeup, was liberally applied.

”Drowned? Are you sure? That doesn’t make a lot of sense,” Vetch says, preparing his space helmet in case the room or area flood quickly.
Is anything else wet? Is there water around? Does it look like he was moved here?

"Drowned?! Really?" Abe is incredulous. He walks over to the body and examines it closely trying to ignore Draka's banging.

Surprised at Draka’s close proximity, Dash takes an involuntarily steps back. He begins to look around for the source of the banging, but the doubting of his expertise is harder to ignore. ”Yes, drowned.” He points at Abe as if to say, see, he gets it. ”The burns and broken bones are superficial, like Zane’s instahologram account.” Or those eyelashes... sheesh.

Vetch follows the sounds of the clanking, figuring they *were* Draka, and is pleasantly surprised when they aren't coming from the hologramostar.
When others are in position, and Vetch himself is settled with pistol ready, Vetch nods to Draka.

He thinks, Really?! This body looks like it made the mistake of playing three card Monte with a Vesk, and the joker got caught!Zane actually starts to make rude self gratification gestures with this hands, but then stops. He doesn't want Coach seeing and taking offense. Zane doesn't want to get benched. This team has another star player in Draka, so Coach might take offense and stick Zane to the pine for making masterbation motions with his hands.
Then ABE confirms it, but Zane still looks skeptical.

The vesk nods solemnly. The presentation reminded her of the other bodies they'd found and she didn't like exploiting the dead for clickbait. She only showed the deaths of the evil beings she fought for the improvement of the universe and the sake of her personal stardom. Draka was a conqueror of hearts and lived for the growing subscriptions. Victimization for views didn't suit her style. Besides, her "heath" shake videos and beauty vlog were already large sources of Draka's popularity.
When the others are ready - and paying attention to the vidstar - Draka flexes, swinging her Swoop Hammer like a pendulum up, above her head. Then, she swings the weapon in an arc towards the thumping door. A battle-cry accompanied by spittle tearing through the otherwise quiet building. "RAAAAAUGH!"

Draka bursts the door open, just as the eastern door is also torn free from it's hinges from the inside!
After locking himself and his warriors within the temple, Xavra came directly to this area to look for weapons to aid him. He didn’t find any, and instead he accidentally activated a prototype portal that opened onto all four of the Elemental Planes for a brief moment before shorting out. Unfortunately it seemed long enough for an elemental from each Plane to come through.

Abe turns and runs away, firing on the earth elemental as his laser burns through the packed stone. The elemental roars in pain as bits of rock and pebble fly from it's mouth.

Abe is a bit quicker than the elemental and avoids having his back broken by its fist. Messalina sends a wave of cold at teh fire elemental and misses, striking the wall. The buffeting wind throws off the drones stabilizing gyros.
The air elemental's winds pick up as it transforms into a whirlwind of debris, picked up by the earth elemental. All while the fire elemental pushes through the thick pressure that Vetch is creating, slowing it down.

Normal people, under normal circumstances might be worried about a sword vs. creature of fire scenario. Not Zane. He knows. Of yes, he knows.
See, The Bantrids make these Devastation Blades. They have this unbreakable patent that gets the blade to some ungodly heat level so they can make these blades as large and sharp as they are. Zane get burned by the fire as his sword gets too close, heating the metal. He flinches back, retreating as does Vetch down the hallway.
The water elemental seems to keep the fire elementals flames at bay so the entire structure doesn't catch on fire, though it doesn't seem to move past.
The floor underneath Draka buckles as the earth elemental moves in on her, trapping her behind two deadly foes.

Dash grabs another spent battery from his stores and hurls it at the fire elemental. As it lands he reaches out with his mind and strikes a couple atoms together, somewhat like a Kith using flint and steel. But instead of spark catching fire, the battery burns off in a blast of heat that scorches the paint off the walls and probably does some damage to everyone’s corneas.
The Fire Elemental is probably immune, but the other three should get hit.

Draka swings her hammer at the earth elemental, The hammer crushes through, knocking off one of the elemental's hands. Draka rushes back, out of their reach as a pair of the elementals.

Draka easily absorbs the blows as the her vid cam gets quite the intense shot of elementals closing in on her. Abe lays down some covering fire so Draka can escape easily enough as Messalina freezes the Fire elemental. The frost seems to be very effective against it.
Dash tosses one of the batteries he has been collecting into the fire elementals reach. the flames cause it to cook off and the chemicals within explode.

The fire elemental seems to absorb most of the blast, protecting it's companions. The air elemental, in whirlwind mode surges forth, easily blasting through enemy and allies alike as it completely encompasses most of the Starfinders. Several large chunks of debris batter at the trio.
Whirlwind Damage (Dash; Zane and Draka): 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 Fort DC 13 to negate the damage.
Also need another Fort DC 13 save if you take the damage to see if you are picked up and carried. A carried creature is flatfooted, grappled, and off-target, and it automatically takes the whirlwind’s damage at the beginning of its turn. If a carried creature does not escape, it can attempt a Fortitude save; if it succeeds, it can take any remaining actions it has on its turn (other than movement). On a failed save, the carried creature is unable to act until its next turn or until the whirlwind releases it.
The fire elemental crackles as it reaches out for Draka.

*The* Zane, ex-sportsball star, seems immune to the blowing winds. He instead imagines them to the kisses from his many adoring fans. He closes his eyes and enjoys the whipping bras and underwear that he imagines being tossed at him after winning the Supreme SpaceSportsball Champion, in HDTV (sponsored by Koboldnex, when you need to get rid of kobolds quickly).
He feels his teammates to the left and right, no doubt wishing they were he, but they are not he, they are themselves. And they are probably jealous because they are not *The* Zane.
Finally deigning to open his eyes, *The* Zane lifts his muscular arms that hold his second love, Boingo (his first being his childhood cat, Mittens Fluffyfoot).
He sees the air elemental assualting the party and lets rip with the mighty weapon of doom.
”Stand back! I am BREAKING WIND!!” *The* Zane attacks the wind, seeking to break it.
Boingo: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 to hit;

Zane breaks into the wind with Boingo. Though the winds hold it back a small bit they aren't strong enough for Zane's massive personality. Vetch fires a glob of acid into the air. While it seems to dissipate the swirling air somewhat it also seems to give off an acidic burning sensation to those in the mist.
The water elemental swirls around, putting out the flames left behind by the fire elemental as the earth elemental smashes at the wall in frustration from not being able to beat something.
