I've the Hunting Lodge Vanity, so...
Day Job (Survival): 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 14 + 2 = 23
+2 from Chronicle sheet boon
Shoulda taken 10. Ah well. 20 gp is enough to buy me arrows.
Purchases
----------------------
6 gp - 3x quivers cold iron arrows.
4500 gp - Wand of Cure Moderate Wounds since my happy stick ran out.
1000 gp - Adaptive quality on my bow

![]() |

Smeggin' hell, I've lost count of how many I've lost in the mire! Time to go searching.
Just checked. Surprisingly few. Though did waste some of the small ones. Anyway:
Cold Iron recover on a 2: 4d2 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 2) = 8
Regular recover on a 2: 3d2 ⇒ (1, 1, 2) = 4
How about that!

![]() |

No day job here.

![]() |

No day job.
Though I'm sure Hawthorne is considering one, in light of two of his most recent adventures. Maybe that gig in the Risen Guard isn't such a bad idea...

![]() |

At the temple of Abadar...(and day job scenario boon): 1d20 + 16 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 16 + 2 = 19 I blame Toshi.
No! Expert Entrepenur, go! reroll!: 1d20 + 16 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 16 + 2 = 25 That's... better! 2 tiers!
(Fame 10, 5 PP) Through your many connections with the merchants and traders of Katheer, you learn how to better earn money with your own entrepreneurial endeavors. Whenever you make a Day Job check (see pages 2–3), you may reroll any result of 10 or less. You must take the second result, even if it is lower. This ability may not be combined with any other ability granting a reroll.

And Glaurung hits 10 now with two GM credits waiting for her! I've already got her character sheet leveled, I just need to update her profile, which I might have time for tomorrow.
I thought about buying some spellguard bracers with the money from this one since Glau is up in melee a lot. . . but I also really want that +3 on my longspear. Maybe I'll hold off and decide later.

GM Tektite |

We are now at the time of decisions. I am more than willing to run another, (not sure what Red and Hawthorne have available), and would like too. If Red wants to run something, that is perfectly fine, though I'm afraid I don't have any PCs in range to join you in a 7-11. (My only two, are in a Glaurung and soon to be Red PbP already.)
I am seeing:
00-28 Lyrics of Extinction
1-32 Drow of the Darklands Pyramid
1-34 Encounter at the Drowning Stones
2-14 Chasms of Screams
2-16 The Flesh Collector
2-18 The Forgotten Furnace of Forbidden Koor
3-04 The Kortos Envoy
3-17 Red Harvest
These scenarios appear to be playable by Glau, Sam, and Amira.

![]() |

I think I'll be playing 2-14 Chasms of Screams this Thursday. All others are good, no real preference either.

![]() |

Actually, unless we jump into combat in the next 48 hours I might play Glaurung on Thursday night. If we do start combat on the next one by then, no worries. I've got other high-tiers I can play that night. Just trying to get Glaurung leveled up to 12 soon so I can play her in Ruby Phoenix Tournament that someone locally wants to run for us.

![]() |

Oh man, whoever's running it has to do the best intro for that module ever: Drendle Dreng's insanity causes a time-lapse where he sends you to get the Tapestry that everyone has used by that point in their career.
EDIT: WHOA.

![]() |

The only pre-year 5 mods I can play are Waking Rune and Feast of Sigils unfortunately. Which means I can run basically any mod. We can go to a lower tier mod if you guys have a preference so Tek can play.

Chronicle received. Again, thanks for running!
I'm astounded you haven't played Feast of Sigils yet, to be honest. I also want to note I'm 100% locked down for 5-9s as far as characters available and have a similar (but not as grossly) limited list. Link is in my core profile. I have no issue dropping if it makes things easier, but that is only sometimes the case.

Feast is terrific. Brutal in places, but a terrific story.
This chronicle brings Hawthorne to 32xp, putting him on indefinite hiatus until such time as I can get him into a Refuge of Time game to wrap up his career. (Which is ironic, considering he died real good in Waking Rune, the culmination of that story arc.)
KULIK is in a similar spot right now waiting for a table of Price of Friendship to bring him to 27xp (and 10th level).
And, in considering it further, I probably need to stay out of new PbP games until my table of Thistletop wraps for the online game day. So after January 4 I can dive back in.

![]() |

Of those, I've not played "You Have What You Hold". Could bring a lvl 3 or 4 polearm master* or a lvl 5 inquisitor for that one. Just sayin'.
* He has two games on the 9th, but is otherwise free and clear... assuming he doesn't die.

![]() |

To build on Gannus' S5 list for easier reference, I've played Wardstone Patrol and am running You Have What You Hold for him in currentness. If you want to play Wardstone Patrol, as always, I'm okay sitting one out.
EDIT: Ninja'd with "can't play Wardstone," do ho ho.

**also have an IRL group set up to play this one once a couple people get their characters to 12

![]() |

Will be playing it this upcoming Monday night. Would be open to that.

Do we have an idea on what subtier we'd be running? Given the S5 nature, I'm a little more leery to play up with a 3 (but am not adamant against it. Sen needs to learn some manners somehow.)

GM Tektite |

If that is the case, then I'll run something from the can play list:
00-28 Lyrics of Extinction
1-32 Drow of the Darklands Pyramid
1-34 Encounter at the Drowning Stones
2-14 Chasms of Screams
2-16 The Flesh Collector
2-18 The Forgotten Furnace of Forbidden Koor
3-04 The Kortos Envoy
3-17 Red Harvest
Probably would need to find at least one other.
If that was the case, I have Ryster (which might be fun to pair up with Sen again or Flinders, who is now level 5.2 Bard (Archaeologist), whom Sior may remember from Among the Living.

![]() |

[reminder to remove 2-14 from that list since I'm playing it tomorrow]
I have no preference but if it seems like we're going to be losing a few people then perhaps 00-28 would be a good bet. Quick and fairly easy if I remember from GMing it. Also, MWANGI!
*The only problem with 00-28 is that Glaurung holds the GM credit so I'd have to switch to someone else. But I have two other characters in tier, an illusionist wizard and an inquisitor. I'll gladly play either of them.

![]() |

Discussion set up for Traitor's Lodge for those who are interested.

![]() |

Tektite had another group of levels 3-4 that was discussing doing Traitor's Lodge. I'm going to wait and see if that group will be doing that one because I might stick with them. But that way Tektite could play in it at the same time. And. . . RACE!
If something else high-tier is going to happen I'm definitely sticking around. Always itching for more high-tier!

GM Tektite |

I'll set up a thread for a high level in a bit.
Concerning the Decline group, it looks as if everyone will be too busy, but you and maybe Des, possibly D-Kal/Slypher. I would suggest coming to this one and if we need an extra, Des/Linnea could be invited, pending GM discretion.
Then we'll just knock out a stray low tier for the remaining Decline players.

![]() |

Ok, that sounds good. I'll bring Henry to Traitor's Lodge once Decline finishes, which I imagine will be soon. If I remember from when I was GMing, one good hit can take those guys down.

![]() |

Yeah, that's why I suggested it. It actually has a pretty neat story but if we're slimming down to 4 (or even 3) players, we still shouldn't have much to worry about. And older scenarios tend to go particularly fast over PbP, especially because the final encounters generally don't take three weeks, lol.

![]() |

I'm in. Just with a different character, either illusionist or inquisitor.
