Mikhail draws his crossbow, loads it and fires down at the one that shot him.

Crossbow attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33

Crossbow Damage: 2d10 + 2 ⇒ (2, 5) + 2 = 9

So, it does not look like I add the magic bonus to damage. If I do it is 1 higher.

The spriggan guard looks briefly frightened by Alister's speech right before Alister plunges his sword into the creature's neck and ends his fright forever. The spriggan collapes back into a tiny gnome-like creature and curses you with its dying breath.

Mikhail, that's a critical hit! Double damage.

Mikhail fires down at the spriggan who shot him and the bolt buries itself in the giant's shoulder.

Mikhail's dead-eye-accurate crossbow fire continues to make one spriggan miserable. The bolt slams into the giant, staggering him for a moment.

Spriggan D Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 There ya go!
Spriggan C Reflex: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 Oops!

Spotting Aristu making arcane gestures, one Spriggan pulls the other in front of him, using his hapless fellow as a living shield against the lightning! The former escapes all danger, but the latter is burned beyond hope and falls dead. The first drops him to the ground, sneering up at the sorcerer.

Kernithar slaps an ornate doorknocker on the roof and it magically produces a door! Flinging the door open, he looks down to see a dimly-lit room. He doesn't really have the time to see details beyond the fact that it's about 15 ft. across and empty of enemies.

Alister yells encouragement an notices an unlit brazier and, laying in the watch tower, the banners of both Brevoy and House Varn.

You'd think so, right? So far I haven't managed to find one on the map or in the descriptions. But obviously it has to be there so, sure. There's a trap door. It will lead you into the outer gallery on the blockhouse's eastern side.

Piotr wrote:

Yes, they can easily spot any of the spriggans and attack.

When you summon something, please put it on the map yourself. If you need help (you're away from the computer or just don't know how), let me know you need the help. But in general, I've got a lot of pieces of the game to run, so it would help me if players were responsible for anything they're bringing onto the battlefield.

EDIT: I put them on the field for you. Put them where you'd like them to be.

Hunt Prey Recall Knowledge:
Arcana(U) +3; Nature(T) +16; Occult(T) +15; Religion(T) +16; Society(U) +3

GM, what was the result of my Recall Knowledge as part of the Hunt Prey from the Monster Hunter feat? If I crit, myself and Mikhail would have had a +1 to the next attack (mine was already included so not sure if I hit). Either way, do I know anything about the creature?

"His armor exposes his legs, aim for the artery on the inner thigh!"

Warden's Boon to Mikhail:

Your multiple attack penalty for attacks against your hunted prey is –3 (–2 with an agile weapon) on your second attack of the turn instead of –5, and –6 (–4 with an agile weapon) on your third or subsequent attack of the turn, instead of –10.

Kernithar attempts to slide underneath the spriggan leader as he calls out.

Inspire Courage ends at the beginning of Alister's turn

Alister pulls open the trap door. "Death from above!" he bellows. An arrow shoots down at the Spriggan Chief.

Attack: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8

Actions:
1. Open the trap door
2. Dirge of Doom. All enemies within 30 feet are Frightened 1 (this should lower their ACs)
3. Fire shortbow

Right you are. I'll take back the five points.

I didn't know you got a Recall Knowledge. Don't rely on my to put together disparate parts of your character. When you should get a roll, tell me. Each time, 'cause I may not remember. It would also be great if you'd list your bonus, so I don't have to look it up.

Rolls secretly offline.

Kernithar:
You know that more powerful spriggans like this are fey who have no particular weaknesses, but are spellcasters. Usually, they just arrogantly try to beat down their foes, however.

Even with the bonus to hit from Kern, Mikhail's attack will miss because of the cover enjoyed by the spriggan boss.

As Kern slides past the enraged giant, Mikhail tries to stab the enemy, but the narrow doorway gets in the way. Kern rises up, realizes he's in Baron Varn's kitchen, and stabs the spriggan in the back of the knee. As the giant roars and turns to face this slippery opponent, Alister shoots him in the shoulder from the trap door above!

Piotr - You don't roll to confirm crits in 2e. It's a crit if you roll a 20 (and it wouldn't otherwise be a miss) or if you beat the AC by 10. You did that with your first attack roll, so it it was a crit.

Spriggan E Reflex save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

As the flock of ravens continues to harass one unlucky giant, Piotr devastates another with a torrent of acid to the chest!

Aristu gets sneaky and tactical.

The spriggans outside know that they have lost sight of most enemies, but they can still see Piotr, so they concentrate fire on him with a devastating accuracy they haven't shown previously. Piotr is very nearly killed as he is struck by every single bolt fired at him. The wizard staggers back, stunned.

Inside, the noise of battle is deafening. Shouts, grunts, the clash of steel on steel and the regular cranking of crossbows fills the air. The gnomes fire crossbows at Mikhail, but the doughty warrior dodges the poor shots or simply lets them carom off his armor.

Furious, the spriggan leader turns his huge morningstar on Kern, swinging with abandon. He hits the ranger in the shoulder, hip and chest with tremendous force. It's like being struck by a tree. Kern is bleeding, has broken ribs and is barely hanging on to consciousness.
