Happy to sell the rest. While I'd like to have kept Saul alive as an informant/for the fun roleplay value it was a really impractical prospect.

Once we obtain the scroll and on Kwava's directive let's interrogate the Drow.

As for the Goblin, it seems to me like more trouble than its worth.

Let me quickly peruse that list. I know Saphren wants the poison. It would likely be hard to sell anyway.

OK, loot tracker questions:

1) Blossom has a spell book listed, but I am unsure if a witch can use a spell book. They need scrolls to learn spells, not spell books. So can well sell that book?

2) Saphren will take the 2 tanglefoot bags.

3) As noted above, Saphren will take the poison if that is ok. OOC I am guessing its drow sleep poison.


Added in values of all the appraisals and partial appraisals. The total amount, after taking out the drow poison and the tanglefoot bags (which were off-loaded to Saphren) comes to 4843 gp, or 968.6 per player.

Edited Loot Tracker to remove the items, but added the coin to the Cash Tracker. You may look to buy items in Riddleport at the PRD value price.

What is the mechanism for Id'ing a poison? I looked and couldn't find anything? Know Alchemy or Know Nature at the DC?

So, can someone make a craft alchemy on the poison? Saphren will use it either way, but would prefer to know what it does. :)

He is neutral about selling the goblin. IC I think he would like to keep it and hire a manager to operate it. He would maintain a room there but would always be worried the manager would either be incompetent, or skim profits. OOC I like the idea of some immediate cash to help equip us now. Easier to just sell the place.

I prefer selling. We should discuss this IC too, but Trig is bored with running a casino. Gnomes always like to move on to the next new experience.

OOC I'm all for selling, I'd rather a consistent series of down payments than chancing a higher profit running the place. (I was getting tired of the skill rolls anyway.)

IC Magnus smells an opportunity to escape the Gas Forges that ruined his lungs and the city of cheats and cutthroat that killed Larur and double crossed him. Riddleport aint no place to run a business. At least not an honest dwarven one.

We should probably stock up on some supplies before we set out. Unless we can secure a buyer this evening in game (in which case I'd like to try for a belt of giant's strength or some equally big purchase) that'll probably just mean a few healing potions and a masterwork hammer.


It sounds like you want to decide to sell the Goblin. There is a rules mechanism for that. Since the Goblin seems to have been beset by bad luck recetly, it requires someone (you choose) to make a DC 20 Diplomacy check each week to find a buyer. Anyone who spends 8 hours during the week spreading the word, can give aid.

Then you and owner must agree on financing terms.

When you are ready to make the check, let me know when you are ready to roll. Obviously, if you are away chasing drow around some abandoned island, you may not be able to make the check...but the game might get rather boring also...choices, choices.

A CLW wand is a must before we go to the island. I think the Goblin will keep until then. We can get Trig's girls, give them crossbows, tell them to shoot the drow if she looks at them funny, and then thoroughly search the drow, including cavities, and tie her up in her undies in a cage until we get back.

750 gp divided 5 ways is 150 each. I will make that change to everyone.

Also, Cold Iron weapon blanch is only 20gp, and you have an error in your mathematics above. After all those purchases Reva ends at 1221.18gp

Saphren will try to procure a masterwork Cold Iron falchion. This will cost 450 gold. If unavailable he will begrudgingly acquire a normal material masterwork falchion for 375.00. He also has his eye on a masterwork sap for 302.00


I will allow you to find the Cold Iron version. You are a bit light on loot, so I am giving a little on what might be available.

Do you want to sell back your old falchion for 50%? You can locate a masterwork sap with little difficulty, this is Riddleport after all. Do you want to spend for that also?

Sapphire wants to keep the old Falchion. He plans to enchant it. Too expensive to enchant cold iron. So he will have an enchanted blade and a cold iron blade. And yes, he wants the MW sap. Those are his two purchases. Plus he donates to the wand fund.

Sorry I made no post yesterday. Work was crazy. Good, but crazy. I'm actually loving my new job, but I have only a fraction of the free time I used to...
I will definitely contribute to the wand fund. If I have enough left over, I would like to purchase an intelligence enhancing headband. Otherwise, I'll probably just spend about a tenth of it on 'living large' & keep the rest for later.
