My Mother called. She is going to need my help with things a lot more now. If you need me to do something, please 'bot' me for the next few days. I should know in a day or two if I am going to need to bow out permanently.

Twigs |

I'll parrot the Doc's sentiments. I hope things are okay.
I'm likely going to be quiet for a spell as well. My router has up and died on me at home, and I've been having to couch-surf to get my uni work done. This week I've two units of work to write, the next due 12 hours rom now, and one 4k word assignment before I go out on my first school placement for two weeks. I'm yet uncertain where I'm going and how busy I'll be but I'll imagine I'll be pretty flat out. Feel free to bot Magnus. He should be able to charge next round and power attack them with axe and shield.

GM SpiderBeard |

Hope things are all right with your mom! And hope to see you back soon Magnus. Nothing like a dead router with a ton of work to do. :(

Unfortunately, nothing much has been resolved over the weekend, so I still don't really know just how much I am (or am not) going to need to curtail my postings. I should know by this time tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

Bú nìng yīng huā jié |

So still nothing is really resolved, but right now, playing online here is pretty much the only thing I have keeping me from yelling & tearing my hair out. If you guys can put up with me, I'm gonna be here.

Bú nìng yīng huā jié |

It helps, thanks.
On a brighter note, my son was invited into the National Junior Honor Society. I'm ping ponging between nail-biting frustration & deliriously giddy. It would be tremendously entertaining if it weren't my life...

The three in the small pantry are disarmed and unconscious (for 2 more rounds then stunned and blinded) assailants (they are not bound since there is no rope handy, and the door is not locked) the one outside the door is staff. There are two new guys who just entered the kitchen nearer to Trig.
Welcome Back!

Bú nìng yīng huā jié |

Sorry all. I'm going to post, just incredibly weary after a long conversation with my ex about our son last light, capped this morning with witnessing/reporting an attempted sexual assault on my way to work.
Really, really drained right now.

DM DoctorEvil |

Sincerest apologies for my prolonged absence from posting for the last week or so. I was quite busy with work and the purchase of a new home, and was trying to finish my PFS obligations before the current Gameday expired.
That is all behind me. (The house is still in negotiations, but looking favorable) And I am ready to get back to posting with a pent-up fervor. I am stuck in hotels the next few nights, so let’s get this thing rolling again!
Again, I apologize and seek your absolution. You make take your frustrations out on the many monsters I plan to throw at you going forward!
On with the game! I will be posting something for you tonight.

Hey, if you really want to go 'glass half full', I have a couple other possible arcane characters I could bring in if Blossom flat out dies...

Everything ok?

All those bad guys add up to 786xp per person giving each player the cumulative total of 3113/3300 or about 91% to level 3. Guess you need to start thinking about your level up progressions.
Wizard, 100%, totally, all the way...
No wait, I should have done that last level & then gone Sorcerer this next level & then gone Cleric the level after that, Yeah!

This is Blossom's consciousness, we would like to assure the rest of you that the entity responsible for the last post has been apprehended & won't be getting out again.
Honest.
We will be leveling up to Witch, lvl 3 at the next level, rest assured.

Saphren |

I am not really sure what to ask about. We know who they work for. The muscle will know the least. These guys were trying to kill us. I'd like to know why I guess.
What is the plan for them long term? In this town there is zero chance they will be tried and held by any legal system. Could they be ransomed for damages and some attempt to force a truce? If we are not willing to kill them and not willing to jail them long term ourselves, and know they will walk with at most a hand slap from the legal system, what do we do?
Saphren wants to murder the monk in front of the other half orc. That is what he wants to do. But currently he is not willing to do that. What options are open to us?

Bú nìng yīng huā jié |

The thing is, Blossom's argument from before still stands. The other Bosses are going to act against us when they do, for what ever reasons they will. Our actions are going to affect that, not in the slightest. What our actions are going to affect, is how willing to follow their orders their soldiers are going to be. For the vast majority of them, their lives are cheap & they know it.
The question is, for Saphren how cheap are their lives?

Reva Meirani |

Reva's response is in game! Basically kill the half-orc boss, turn over the four goons or offer the jobs, and as for the monk and the thief... unsure. Depends on how important they are.

Twigs |

Oh no no, Magnus isnt falling for that "start the melee half a map away" nonsense again with his 20ft. landspeed. If the party want to chip in, 75gp each would net us a scroll of invisibility sphere that we can charge from and break their knees. (Of course, he wouldnt know that).
Failing that I'm sure somewhere could supply 20gp camouflage netting for Magnus and I can borrow a suit of light armor from the attackers. That will probably suffice.

Reva Meirani |

Eek, sorry. Forgot about the incredibly frustrating positions Magnus has been in gameplay wise. Invisibility sphere sounds good.

Saphren |

Saphren has 9 gold. A third level scroll represents more gold value that Saphren has in gear. No way he is spending that on one spell. He has no magic and not even any masterwork weapons. All he has is an alchemical acid. He does have masterwork armor.
What did we just get from this fight?

Trig Glittergold |

Maybe we need to recruit an alchemist to get extracts of Expeditious retreat for Magnus.

Great idea, no actual in-game time.
Actually, according to the Loot table, we each have more than 100 gold. A scroll of Invisibility Sphere split between us, will be 75 gold each.

DM DoctorEvil |

Check out the Loot tracker for items taken in the last fight, and coins held by party members.
Here is the gold I have per person right now:
Magnus 137.6 gp
Trig 197.07
Blossom 241.7
Saphren 176.7
Reva 253.7
You also recovered about 325gp of gear from teh raiders, plus an unappraised necklace, plus an unclaimed amulet of natural armor.
You have some stuff, and Saul said he'd provide 2 potions of invisibility for free.

Trig Glittergold |

A scroll of invisibility sphere might be the way to go. I haven't actually seen that spell before. Only problem I can see is that it only lasts 5 minutes at minimum caster level.
