While Blossom is perfectly willing to remain guarding Saul's unconscious body, particularly as she no longer has any available spells save Cantrips, did anyone want to tell her what we are doing & ask if she wanted to take part?

If she were staying with Saul it's easy enough to remove her. I didn't realize who was or wasn't coming. Since he is bound, you can either take him with, or leave him. Choice is yours.

Lugging Saul along effectively negates any advantage having another PC gives us. I'm perfectly fine with leaving him bound & unconscious behind us.

I think you mentioned it, didn't realise it was four scrolls though. Awesome!

One scroll with 4 castings. Easier to pull out if multiple healing is needed. OK, I'll mark it off my gear and you can add it to yours.

Trig also has a scroll of infernal healing, just in case. (It's kinda silly that the only way for a sorc/wizard to heal someone has the evil baggage, huh?)

Less that you have picked up Tien from her & more that you know her well enough that you know that while she is a brat, she's never lied to you & she is presenting classic 'I can do this' demeanor. Later on, she will probably complain that they made fun of her accent, but both they and she were entirely understandable to each other...

So I finished an interview this afternoon after finishing the written portion of my Final exam...

And they offered me the job. All things go well, I will be starting full time as an HVAC technician trainee on the nineteenth.

The down side is that my free time will be drastically curtailed. It shouldn't be enough the I have to start paring down games, but it is likely that my posting rate will drop, possibly to as little as once a day or so.

As I mentioned earlier, I have to get up quite a bit earlier than I have been for some time & won't be able to check things online until I get out of work in the afternoon/evening. First, We had a death in the family early this weekend. I spent the entire weekend in an ICU waiting room. Sorry for my absence.

Second, I should be abel to post some tonight and tomorrow but then I am off to the funeral and such. So I will not be around much.

Third - You and I are way off on what we think Saphren's hit points are. Did you get the last healing he got at the start of this fight?

Please post your changes at level up here. Remember for HP you can take the PFS method (avg+1) or you can roll, but you must choose in advance of rolling. If you roll a 1, you can roll again, subtracting one from the total.

AT level 4 you should be able to increase an ability score, please share which, along with feats, new skills, spells etc, so I can keep my files updated.

All new level effects can go into place immediately, except for those which require spell preparation in advance (ie, wizard and cleric etc.).

Some of the best parts of role-playing is the leveling up. Have fun, and let's see what you get.

He gains +1 BAB and +1 Reflex save.

As a scout archetype he gains the Scout's charge ability. Now when he charges he gets sneak attack damage.

He gains a rogue talent and takes Trapspotter.

He gains 8 skill points and spends them thusly:
+1 to Acrobatics
+1 to Disable Device
+1 to Perception
+3 to Sense Motive
+1 to Stealth
+1 to Use Magic Device

Trig's Charisma goes up by 1 to 20! Woot!

2nd level spell: Summon Monster II (naturally)

0th level spell: Ghost Sound

Now has 8/day 1st level spells, 4/day 2nd level spells.

4 skill ranks (1 from FCB): 1 to Perception, 1 to Knowledge(Dungeoneering), 1 to Knowledge (planes), 1 to Stealth

I now have the Tremor ability at +9 8/day, my summoned creatures get DR 2/adamantine, and I forgot to mention last level I got Stonecunning like a dwarf.


The DR on your summoned creatures is because they are supposed to be made of rock? Is that sort of how you interpret that bloodline power to work? Makes for a cool mental image at least.

I interpret them as being crystalline, like eagles made of amethyst or something. The bloodline power represents affinity with the earth, so that works for me.

I put it in strength. Saphren is a strength build after all. I think he is working out well with strength higher than dex. Makes him a good striker. Comments welcome.


Saphren has certainly been more front-line than most rogues, so I can see the rationale.

Okay:

+5 hp
+1 refl save
+1 Base attack
+1 to strength
1 extra judgement per day

Now has 4 level 1 spells, 2 level 2 spells per day.

Learned cure moderate wounds and lesser restoration.

I've added my skill points but need to tear apart my skills to make sure everything adds up. I think I'm missing a point or two. Noted are that I've added knowledge arcana to spread out Reva's monster ID.
