Hi, I've had a few nightmare weeks at work (I'll tell you over a drink some time) but think I am back in the saddle now.

Just separately, I'm currently running an interest check on a Midgard campaign. My general practice is to offer slots first to players already involved in existing campaigns. So if you're interested please give me a shout via PM.

Yeah, the Midgard thing looks pretty cool. Is the setting and stuff all open content? Would I need to buy anything to build my character?

Not entirely sure. I tend to buy anything I use but tbh in general it means having the HL files. At any rate, if interested please PM me.

Hi - it may be because it's the vacation season (although I think I'm the only one actually on vacation) but it feels like we're stalling, with a couple of players repeatedly failing to post. This is especially problematic when we're in initiative. This being the last room on this level, I will if necessary drop some party members when we're done here. I think the party can afford to drop to 5. If we go to 4 I will introduce a DMNPC, because a 4 player group is likely to take something of a beating on the next level.

I have to apologize, because you are right. Between summer, paizo problems and the repeated disappearance of my dots I've been having a hard time keeping up.

That said I should be back up to normal rate already, but anyway I'll let the DM judge.

Vacation warning

This is an early heads-up that I will be on vacation from the 24th (Wed) PM (EST) through the 29th (Mon) PM. As before, I'm heading to a music festival, and as before, I expect there to be some level of internet access, though I don't know how reliable it will be or how distracted I will be. Posting may be sparse in that time. Please feel free to bot me if I'm holding things up. (I prefer it if you roll and confirm lots of criticals, and make sure that my sneak attacks hit their mark. Hi - flying back home tonight, end of vacation (unfortunately). Should pick up regular pace again from Wednesday, UK time. Currently at JFK waiting for flight so from then till now will be mostly offline.

I am still here - just going to hold off on posting a little longer in case people stop Ka'narg from being able to move in and attack :)

I added the new map in Roll20. I'll move you over when we descend a level. I am going to change the counters round - I have over time figured out how to massage Roll20 so that the map fits the automatic grid which makes counter placement easier; you'll find you have square rather than round counters now though.

Note - I don't propose to find a replacement for Goldi, so XP and any loot (of which there's not been much so far) in level 2 of the crypt will be divided between 5.

Haska should probably just stick to trying to hit stuff with his hammer, possibly setting up allies for flanks.

Apologies for the ongoing delays. Nightmare week at work - I'm going round catching up on all my campaigns (some of which have compounded issues by turning very high maintenance) and hope to be caught up on all of them by end of play tomorrow. At which point I need to fly to Holland (sigh).

This is one of two which is currently behind from my point of view so will get first attention tomorrow.

I have a new role at work that has me sitting in a different building, and it seems that the firewall is configured differently. I can read these boards, but can’t post to them. I’ll still be able to post from my phone, but it’s a lot harder to type a quality post without a proper keyboard. My posting between 8:00am – 5:30pm (US Eastern time) will go down because of this.

Hi - sorry. Got back from a trip to the US and acquired an infection - have been in hospital this last week. Got out yesterday and finally online today. I'm just going round updating my various games; will try and get things back on track tomorrow (but I have a fair bit of catching up to do). Apologies again.

Is it just time to call it quits on this game? It seems like we've lost all of our momentum.

I'd be happy to give it another go, but we need to make it move if we're going to do it.

We'll be back moving as and when Shady returns. He's been absent from the boards for a few weeks now after he had a nasty illness last month. I hope he's ok and returns to us soon, but until then I think we are on pause.

I just messaged GM Shady about the game. I'm not hopeful of a response, as he doesn't seem to have been active on any paizo boards since late Oct, but it's worth seeing who's still around, just in case.

Is there still interest in keeping this game going?

If Shady doesn't respond, is there enough interest to try to scout out a new GM?

Well, I indeed would like to. Thing is, will we be able? Getting a new GM is a whole Quest in itself.

I'm alright letting this one go at this point, but might be willing to play through if another GM were found.
