Will the person who GMd Constellations PM me and let me know if we got the Constellations Influence? Same for the GM for Teahouse.

Dotted in on the Gameplay thread.

Sorry folks - my son had an allergic reaction at a restaurant last night and we were in the ER until 2am. He’s fine now, but I’ve been a little discombobulated. I’ll post within the next hour or two.

I think there’s something wrong with the Map link in your tagline, GM MindXing. Here’s the text version of it: https://paizo.com/campaigns/GMSchoolHouseOfHarmoniousWisdomProphesy/'https: //docs.google.com/presentation/d/1u7amZRz8mQ4scE42-w4azKIu77f7s5esTNh5MHnq0 Uc/edit?usp=sharing%27

Yep, most definitely a problem. I think I fixed it. How does it look now?
That works - thanks.

GM MindXing |

My internet connection may be spotty from today till Friday but I'll do my best to keep us going.

While I'm trying not to drive the action, we should definitely make a solid push to try to wrap this up. The specials in play are going to be full steam ahead, and it's worth it to be able to focus.
Let's do this!

GM MindXing |

Yeah, that makes sense. I've been trying to balance between giving players enough time to respond and move things forward and also fighting with fidgety internet connection this week. But I think I'll try to move things forward later on today.

Wrapping Up a PbP Game:
There are three things that need to be done:
1. Report
2. Chronicle
3. Close.
Report:
This is what gets the game in Paizo's system and is used for a variety of metrics.
1. Go to "My Organized Play" in the "Organized Play" drop down.
2. Go to the "GM/Event Coordinator" tab.
3. If you don't have one, I suggest making an event for your games. (The create new event button is at the bottom.)
4. Fill out all the information asked for.
5. Save and you're done!
Chronicle:
This is getting the game chronicle to each player. There are a variety of methods for this, but I'm pretty comfortable with mine.
1. Use a pdf editor (many are free, and I do this with just the tools in Acrobat) to fill out the chronicles per the Roleplaying Guild Guide.
2. Upload them to a drive, and share the URL with the players. (Some GMs PM them, some put them in the thread.)
3. Alternatively, print them, do them by hand, and then scan them!
Close:
1. Check to make sure everyone's chronicle is acceptable. There may be a mistake, or something that needs to be added because of a boon.
2. Once everything is confirmed, I typically post that I'll deactivate the thread within 24 hours.
That's it! I know I skipped some technical stuff (such as how to save a single page from a pdf.) I can do this breakdown if need be too. Ask me any questions you'd like. For this one, it's a bit weird. I'm going to report the game itself, but you guys will each make a chronicle for ONE other player. This is actually MORE complicated than it is for most games. Due to the timing, I'm just going to report this game with the following information: EVENT: S's PbP PFS. EVENT NUMBER 17,917. This will be the information you use on your own practice chronicles. We posted individual player in formation HERE.
Since we're each filling out one:
Dungeon Master S -> MindXing
MindXing -> Blue Moose
Blue Moose -> Tusk, MD
Tusk, MD -> GM Will-Save
GM Will-Save -> Dungeon Master S
I've made MindXing's already. It's available: HERE.
Finally, I've transitioned back to being a real-life VL, but I've been on these boards a long time. I'd gladly sign up to play a game under any of you, and wish you the best of luck. If you ever need help, I'm more than happy to give it.

Nice job, everyone.
Your mentor seems to have everything well under control here, so I just want to emphasize one thing: the importance of reporting. It's reported games that Paizo uses to measure how many games are being played. If we miss reporting some of our PbP games, Paizo may think there are fewer being played than are, which could decrease their support for online play.
I'm sure Dungeonmaster S will take care of the last few details.
Good job, good luck with your first independent games you run, and I hope to see all of you again on the boards soon. Please remember I'm available to all of you for any questions that come up.

Okay, I have this done right, yes? Finding a PDF editor that was actually free to use was harder than I thought it would be.

Thanks, DM S and Redelia, and to my fellow students, for all of your help!
Treble Tan/GM Will Save, your chronicle sheet is HERE. Please let me know if you see anything that needs correcting.
Blue Moose - my sheet looks good, thanks!

Chronicle looks good. Thanks, everyone, for playing and GMing. Thanks for offering the school, Redalia.

GM MindXing |

Is your suggestion that we make an event for all of our PbP games (now and future)?

I do actually recommend that. There will be times when you use others, such as PbP conventions, or if you ever form a personal lodge with fellow players who share the same style there may be one there.
I have a few:
S's PbP PFS: These are my pick up games on paizo.com. It's my general use event.
Iron Fellowship Lodge: This is a lodge of a group of roughly 50 friends IRL spread throughout North America. When we curate games, we use a shared event.
Sfounder's AP: My AP games (F2F and PbP). I just like having these in place for organization's sake.

Uhg. For some reason this is giving me a lot more trouble than I would expect. I was trying to use PDFescape and it is awful. Unless someone can point me to a better tool, I'm probably going to print, complete, then scan these.
Also, we didn't get the influence for Constellations.

What device/operating system are you using?

GM MindXing |

Windows PC (Win10) . I was experimenting with the standard acrobat reader and I found the "markup" tools. I think that with those I can do the following steps:
1) load the entire PDF for the scenario into the reader
2) print-to-pdf only the last page (the chronicle) and create a new file that is just the chronicle
3) load that new chronicle into the reader
4) use the markup tools to check boxes, cross things out, and enter text
5) print-to-pdf the marked up chronicle for a character
I have gotten as far as step 4 but then I ran out of time. I'm at work all day today and I can't really do this at work. I'll try to finish tomorrow.

THIS time I'm reporting. Under normal circumstances, the GM reports everything.
A detailed rundown on reporting likely will change dramatically in 2e.

I think so. I would be the one to do that, right?
Is everyone ready for this thread to go away?

Yes, thanks.
