Hey guys, I'm back-ish. I had an old injury flare up on me during training and I'm getting medically discharged. I should be back to posting as early as tomorrow or Wednesday. Right now I'm in an airport posting from my phone.
I'm back from traveling. I thought I would have more time to post, but that didn't work out.

Vedai, there is some travel time plus time in the town that can be as long as the party wants really. Plus I like crafting.
Augar, always a fan of multi-classing doing it with my cleric in RotRL for the same reason.
hell heavy armor, and martial weapons as well as all dwarf weapons its a win win

Kinda want a boost getting heavy armor and martial weapons. Might take a level in fighter?
You might also look at Bloodrager (Steelblood). Gain a few rounds of rage/day plus a L1 bloodline power, and some minor situational bonuses to CMD, Reflex saves, and AC. Taken together those might be better than a bonus feat. Paladin could work as well, and allow you to pick up Smite 1/day (though with only 1 level and no CHA to speak of it won't do much for you), at will detect evil, and +2 to Will saves. I think that's about it for classes that grant heavy armor, unless there's an archetype of ranger I'm forgetting or something. If you do go fighter, you might look at the Unbreakable archetype; rather than giving your choice of one feat, it grants Endurance and Diehard (if you think those feats are worth having, anyway).
Side note: I noticed some mention of Ivar casting in the main thread.
Ivar's archetype, Stonelord, removes the Paladin's spellcasting. No point in him carrying wands or anything of the like. He does get Lay on Hands, but only 1/day for 1d6(and he only got that with the level-up!), because the Stonelord has basically no CHA-dependent features and, as a Dwarf, his Charisma sucks.
Also, I've already got a masterwork breastplate, I bought it in town earlier. Augar's welcome to it. (If no one else wants it, I'll take the spiked gauntlet. I have to take TWF as a pre-req for my dorn-dergar feats, so I can use it with my boulder helmet if someone gets in my face.
Hey gang - recovery is slow, but easing my way back into life. James is updated to level 4 and took the inferno gun and extra canisters if that is ok.
Took rapid reload as a investigator talent, but thinking quick draw might be a good feat to get with all these guns!

I have just posted a bit of a wrap up with you guys exiting the underground.
I would like to take this opportunity to ask for any feedback you guys may have. This is the first AP I am GMing in PbP and will quickly get to a higher level then I have gotten in most RL games so you feedback is important.
Remember this is your story I am just organizing it for you.
Also please note that we are moving into more open world type areas and I will do my best not to railroad you. That impulse may make me too slow at times but I will work for a balance.
One thing I will say is that if people want to craft I will make time where I can. It is an underused mechanic and this is an AP it can happen in.
Some like Ironfang Invasion and Giantslayer dont lend themselves well so best to do it where you can.
I am frankly amazed this is your first AP - I think it has been going quite well! Pace is good, organization seems great.
James does also have some alchemy skills, so I would expect he will keep busy in any downtime crafting cartridges for pistols and probably some alchemist fires, etc.
Also, a new skill James just acquired is the ability to use any knowledge skills untrained.
Yes I'm enjoying the pace of the AP. You are doing an excellent job.

At least as unchained you don't suddenly die from hitting 0 hp like normal barbarians
Xandar is right. As an Unchained Barbarian, your temp hp go away first, not last. You don't lose them when your rage ends (only if you're above your normal max hp).

Beyond what I posted a little behind the curtain for you.
There were a few additional rat-folk that the party had not discovered. Sanvil made enough noise to attract them when they came to investigate what had gone on. Finding him and knowing that their boss had been defeated they fled.
There are various passages that i have put arrows too on the maps page. There exit was made by taking the northern passage form the level the final battle was on and having a white access card.
I added a little more story to keep things moving. I know the boards are being wonky.
There is time here for shopping, crafting and whatever else you like. Just let me know what you plan to do. There may be other things that happen in town depending on what you want to do and the time-frame.
I need at least a 7 days. I failed a spellcraft roll on a Third Level spell from the spellbook, and I don't want to miss getting that one. I failed twice on jump so that would be 14 days. I doubt the group wants to wait that long to move on to Scrapwall.
I took 660 out of the loot total for the cost of the spells.
Do we have anyone (in the group or in town) who can cast Masterwork Transformation? Alternatively, anyone who can craft masterwork weapons within our timeframe? I'd like to go ahead and start upgrading my weapons.
I can learn the spell if I can get my hands on a scroll. I'd be more than happy to scribe scrolls and cast when needed.
It's also a bard spell I could learn it if we need it and change it at a later level.
I think Augar is your man for the masterwork stuff though the scroll is available.
James already finished making his battered pistols masterwork, I think, but if not, he will finish them now (they took 1 day each, but I think he only spent 1 day back when doing it).
He will also make 20 paper cartridges for 6gp each, and if he can get the materials, 10 adamantine cartridges for 36gp each.
120 gp for paper
360 gp for adamantines
He has 601 on hand, so this will leave him with 121 in pocket.
This is only another day, so the remaining time he will spend examining the technology we acquired.
Is anyone else looking to use ray guns? If so, James will do what he can to teach them what they need to know.

Everything else is fine. I am checking the Loot Sheet but if you guys enter what you want to sell the sheet will update of just let me know.
On a side note I know we are a little slow right now. The site has been so wonky I am trying to let them work things out before I do too much.
In theory the patch last night fixed things. So far so good today.
We should go through the loot sheet and zero it out. Everybody review it and claim what you want, and then let's sell the rest and see what we come up with so that we can shop for ourselves.
I've reviewed it, and there's nothing there that Elkin wants except the gold payout at the end.
Ivar doesn't want anything but the gp.
James hates to give up any tech, but as he hasn't even sorted out what a lot of the items might be good for (and he has already taken way more than his fair share of loot), no objections to selling the rest of it.
I took a couple of the tech items, and I'm good with that.

Sorry I've been slacking with posts the past two weeks. Been super busy with work and home stuff. I'll be back to posting regularly, just need to get through this week.
Updated with Renewed Vigor for 4th lv Rage power. Took the MW Buckler and x2 potions from Skulks Massacre. Do we know what these do?
I made a call last Wed for people to claim items from the loot sheet. I think there's been enough time now. @GM can you please sell off the rest and divide it evenly, letting us know how much we all get?
I went and filled in the blanks I could. Don't know about a couple to the tech items.
Right now it is up to about 2100 each, but a couple of us kept more than the others, so you should probably take more.
I didn't try for accuracy, but on loot kept, I have like 8000 (depending on some missing prices), some of the others have between 4500-6500, and you have only 1000. And Xander and Ivar have taken nothing.
I recommend of the 15000 available, maybe 5000 each for Ivar and Xander, 4000 for Elkin, and 1000 for whoever still needs a little something.
If you want, I can sell one of the pistols to even things out more, but they might come in handy.
It seems like it would make sense to keep at least one backup pistol, for if/when your main one misfires. Any pistols that do special types of damage are also good to keep. Anything beyond that would make sense to sell.
You know your profession better than I, though. :)
Elkin will take 4000 gp per James recommendation. Time to go shopping!
Ok first I need to apologies, there was a formula error that was counting things about too be sold twice. The surplus is much smaller then originally reported.
I guess this makes since as the majority of the items of value has been kept.

Original is what existed after items were marked for sale.
Fixed is no longer double counting the items to be sold (about 7835gp was counted twice)
Book 1 Official is just that. Where we are after the sale.
There are a couple items I need to look up prices on but I have not done so yet.
I changed Elkin's disbursement to 2000 then.
And no shopping after all. Saving up for something down the line.
