Uronzeer the holy symbol had been sold at a previous stop in the town. If there is a number in the "Sale Value" column that means it has been sold.

Divided there would be 1348 each.

I added an additional formula showing what you would have per person. if you want to divide it up I will add a transaction for 1348 each and you can track the gold individually. The loot sheet is handy for totaling and tracking before gold division.

You can also take out any items of common good, such as the wand of CLW that was purchased, and then divide the loot.

I suppose we could sell off some of the technology to Sanvil if we need more cash, but I don't trust him yet. Still, like the armor - if no one is planning to use it, we could sell it.

James is scooping up all of the guns and batteries, so he really doesn't deserve an equal share of the cash. That said, he does also have two "broken" pistols that it would be nice to make masterwork for 300 each, and some extra ammo would be nice.

I would also suggest we move the medilance and hypogun to the wand, CLW status. We don't have the medicines identified yet, but I suspect they will help with healing, disease or other maladies.

GM - Can James spend some time upgrading his pistols and identifying some of these unknowns? Or will that take too long?

I believe the gunslinger can only upgrade thier own battered gun for 300 gp to masterwork. Anything els I think you need a masterwork transformation cast on it, depending on how GM looks upon it.

On the armor, I think I missed what that was exactly.

Yes, sorry - battered was the word I was looking for. James has 2 - one from becoming a gunslinger, and one from steel hound level 2 (just acquired).

Neoplast Armor - Uses batteries for power to change color. +2AC / Max Dex +8 One battery gives it 24 color changes. When a charge is used the wearer gains +3 competence bonus to stealth checks.

I still have a couple of spells to pick, and will update Elkin's sheet online tonight, when that's done. I always overthink spells, which makes it take too long, haha. If anyone has any requests, let me know, and you can help guide my hand.

He just gained an ability to grant the "shocking" ability to a weapon 4/day. Each use of the ability will last 1 round currently, but that will go up as he continues to level. I really have no designs to put Elkin in combat, so if anyone feels like they would want this boon from Elkin at any point, let me know. Interested to hear your thoughts on the mechanics of doing that in combat, too.

Took a look at some spells to defeat hardness, and there's a 3rd level spell that will allow Elkin to make all of our weapons adamantine for short periods of time. So, not quite yet, but it's on the horizon.

The current gold that is available is only the items that have been sold (red column) and those that have been sold so none of the tech items are in that pool.

Guns and Technology
Yes you can upgrade a battered gun but these are technically a little different, they are "timeworn". Basically they have a chance of failure under certain conditions such as rolling a 1. A Timeworn items can be made masterwork but it will still have the Timeworn condition. Since the Timeworn condition persists I will allow you to work on them as you would other firearms.

Masterwork Transformation is a 2nd level spell that requires a 3rd level caster, so:

Spell Level x Caster Level x 10 gp (plus additional costs from the spell) =
2 x 3 x 10 gp = 60 gp + 300 gp (weapon) = 360 gp

If I can find a scroll or a wizard book with Masterwork Transformation in it, I can write it into my spell book and then cast it. Otherwise I'd need to wait to level 4 to get it for free in my spell book.

There is a single Masterwork Transformation scroll available in torch from the cleric. 10% off list price.

As far as my thoughts as a GM on the spell. It is one of the spells that I watch pretty closely as it is one of the ways a caster can "break the world" so to speak. That said buy it do what you need with it but try not to abuse it.

Just like a group of seven in an AP designed for a group of 4 necessitates some added difficulty on encounters everyone suddenly having masterwork items does the same thing.

It seems to me that, given that the spell still requires you to pay the masterwork cost of the item, it shouldn't unbalance things. Even if we were to upgrade all of our gear, it would still cost us 300/weapon and 150/armor.

Elkin is completely leveled up now. He's going to be interested in doing some shopping; I'm fine doing that off-screen. What was the final decision regarding an adamantine weapon? That may impact the division of gold if we purchase that first.

Adamantine Weapon sounds like a win win for the party.

I am thinking I should get Scribe Scroll so I can have access to more healing spells and possibly scribe some scrolls.

Like I said, I can treat my weapons as adamantine for 3 rounds/day. As long as I use it sparingly, I'll be alright.

How do we want to handle the price of the scroll? Ivar will buy it for Vedia if need be, but if others want to chip in I wouldn't object.

If Ivar doesn't need it, and Uronzeer doesn't want it, should we postpone this and just split the gold? Elkin is 2 levels away from a spell that will be able to make the whole party's weapons adamantine (or cold iron, silver, etc.) so this may have been a short-term solution anyway.

And we *did* defeat the high-hardness construct without any adamantine weapons.

I vote to buy the Masterwork Transformation scroll out of party funds, not buy any adamantine weapons, and split the remaining gold for personal purchases.

What spell is it that helps you to bypass different materials?

Edit: I can see versatile weapon but that one only bypasses: bludgeoning, cold iron, piercing, silver, or slashing.

Adamantine bypasses both DR adamantine and hardness up untill 20 so I can't see what we shouldn't have one with an adamantine weapon.

Heart of the Metal works on 1 weapon per level. As a 3rd level spell, Elkin will be 5th level, able to apply it to 5 weapons.

I agree on the scroll + cash approach.

James would like to spend 300 on each of his battered pistols to make them masterwork. And he can make adamantine bullets for 6.1 gp each, so 20 of those for 122 gold.

That adds up to 822 gp total. But are we concerned about timing?

The scroll costs 150 gp (2nd level spell) - 10% = 135 gp. I'll add that to the loot sheet. It looks like that leaves a distribution of 1326 gp each.

I just added the scroll to the loot sheet for Purchases now that I have edit access to the loot sheet. My calculation last night was just a little off. The actual distribution is 1328.86 gold per person.

Uronzeer - Nothing is recorded as a debit for you yet. The biggest thing is simply entering items purchased or gold taken for personal use / wealth in the red columns where other transactions have been entered.

If you overdraw at some point you can just change the amount you had entered.

Items like the grenades you said you wanted to carry do not affect the total gold as they were never sold.
