This has to do with layers in the slide. To fix this, while you have the box selected, right-click and choose "Order > Send Backward" until you can select your PC icon. Ctrl-↓ is a shortcut to do the same thing! (Just don't send it so far back that it disappears behind the map layer!)

Yea, that was my bad. Normally I try and order the drawing so that your tokens are on top. Just forgot this time.

Its confusing because the hollow square is really just transparent so the whole area is "full" where it is sitting.

Ok I was just thinking that SLA normally works equal to HD but this is a special case so wanted to make sure.

To be sure that spell like effect is a one time use thing but never expires so you can use it now or keep it all they way to the last book. Caster level is whatever you hit dice are at the time.

I think I got the round sorted, lot of stuff going on. I condensed the initiative so party is all acting together, I think this is nothing more then a bonus for some of you but it makes it easier for me.

Well he is probably on his final days but we have come to that peace. However I am grateful for all my games being really accepting and considerate.

I have been there, my mom the year I graduated college, and know how rough it is. All I can say is take the time you can with your family with time it will be the good moments that you cherish from this.

Not suggesting this as a rule just rethinking something for the 100th time. Of all the rules Pathfinder has I feel they are a little light on what happens if you are in the negatives, dyeing and six second later are patch up and ready to go. It is the one element that has always felt like a video game mechanic to me.

We try and make our character real and to that end most of them would spend some time blinking and looking around confused and afraid I would think.

I am reading Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames , which I highly recomend by the way, and there is quote

"In reality, a giant died much the same as anything else did: screaming and sh**ing itself."

which I guess puts the whole thing in my mind. Probably good that those elements are not part of the game really.

To my fellow players and gms

I will be updating my games at a slower pace for a while longer, you'd probably already noticed it's been slow from me the last weeks.
I might be going down with psychological stress from the new work I started after new years. I had barely worked a week before we were told our jobs were in jeopardy and could be lost at any moment. I tried to handle it but instead ended up bottling it untill I broke down last night after I got home.
I have an appointment with my doctor and union tomorrow and will take things from there.
I'll keep you informed and update the game when I have some good moments

Just for a peek behind the screen not fighting the half-orcs get you good XP as it built your rep in Scrapwall more then killing them would have. It only took a small bump for finding the cleric to get you to the next level.

Wow - big level for James. Added darkvision extract, studied combat, studied strike and ranged study, so now the pistols will do some extra damage. Also realized I never added an ability point for level 4, so Dex is 18 now.
