Learned a few extracts from Vedia's spellbook. Decided on Quick Study - will get infusions next time, but I think the quick study will come into play far more often.

Okay so my play is now that I have 3rd level spells is to Cast deeper darkness at the Ettins head, then Shared Language, followed by Diplomacy, then Blindness/Deafness if this fails. Gonna try to win over an Ettin if not, down it'll go

I’m also really busy right now. Away from home at training for a new job. Won’t be back until 08/11. Until then I’ll be rather limited. Not if needed. Ivar and the Elemental will be trying to maintain a flank, and using stonestrike to ignore 12 of Hellion’s Hardness for as many rounds as stonestrike lasts.

I'd like to pick up a heavy steel shield. I'd also like to add a +1 to my dorn-dergar. I've got the gold to do it out of my own pocket, but if someone in the party can craft it, I'd be appreciative of the saved gold.

I picked up the Dorn-dergar Master feat, which will allow me to wield it one-handed, with the shield in the other hand. Considering that the dorn-dergar has reach, when I drop into my Defensive Stance, I'll be able to control a good chunk of space, which should be pretty helpful if we can bring enemies to us (and moreso if someone wants to enlarge me).

At next level I'll be able to pick up the Bulwark defensive power, meaning foes add my armor check penalty to the DC of acrobatics check to move through my threatened space. If only I had Tower Shield Proficiency...

I sold most of the stuff but I did not sell the chainsaw or the wand or Cure Moderate. I want to confirm their sale before pulling the trigger.

Also. Tomorrow I leave for a long weekend wedding with a lot of scotch and no computer. I would expect little before Tuesday.

I’m pretty sure Zeer wanted the chainsaw. If he didn’t, Ivar will want to give it a look before making a decision.
