I know there are all these rules for social stuff in Pathfinder, but I typically find them too intrusive to be useful, unless the bard is trying to talk their way out of every single fight.

Edison approves of the vaguearies of Aduard's ploy; what you are promising them is a better life. As long as we follow through on ensuring that they receive one, he'll be happy.
Edison 'gets it'. Particularly in cities, he's far more focused on the spirit of the law and of the intent behind actions than he is the exact word of either, if that makes sense.

Sorry, just to confirm;
1. Did Aduard use Focussed Spell to Haste the PCs and the Mongrelmen, or just haste the PCs. I'm okay either way.
2. Shouldn't Edison have gotten to use his readied action - though I don't hold out much hope of it hitting - when the axe flashed out? I'm holding off Aduard commenting on it.
3. I think I just got the map, is it right?
* the door opens onto a sheer drop to below.
* the mongrelmen are below (the bottom map)
* the upper left map is ground level, and has precarious walkways between the vats, level with the door.
* there is a ladder from the bottom level to the middle level and then onto the upper level. It is outlined in yellow.
4. It is daylight outside, right?
5. This is an industrial area with not many people around.

Writing a report for a grant we just finished and it is taking a bit longer than anticipated. I may be absent a couple of days as the deadline approaches.
@Aduard:
1. According to your post, the Haste spell affects "Aduard, Arruk (just in range), Esta, Edison and Oolong". Is that wrong?
2. The issue is that he can't target Grine while he's inside the darkness, since he's completely obscured. Why can Grine see out of the darkness? You'll have to find out!
3. That is right, yes.

Can I also ask what the roof is made of? Is it possible to tell if it is Deeper Darkness or just Darkness?
I'm thinking of having Aduard try to put a hole in the roof to let in bright daylight, which should raise the illumination enough that Grine can be seen. Will avoid if it seems too difficult though.
Hmm, I would say that the roof is constructed from slate tiles supported by a timber framework.

Sure. Aduard has a tactic but I can't work out how to have him do it, short of wander around outside and climb the walls.

I really need to update Esta's spell list next time we rest lol.
Hey Edison, how would you feel about tossing a small fox towards the wounded party later on if need be? If Esta can't reach whoever needs to be healed, and Oolong can't easily run to them, you could just... underhand toss him towards them?
That's what my post was going to be about until I remembered that I used the healing hex on you before, not Karras, and I'm a little bummed about it. :D

Hmmm. Aduard still has a move action. If Edison is going to drop the bow, can Aduard hold it? Don't want it getting kicked into the vat, and he can potentially Magic Weapon it for later.

Wracking my brain; I don't have the right gear or spells available to take out the Darkness.
May just try and stand strong and Lay on Hands tank until Grine runs out of axes. As long as I can keep Grine from climbing up and ganging up on Karras, it may be worth it.

Are the employees hanging back? It'd be fair enough given what has been done to them already...
They are, yeah. Mostly because of your massive Diplomacy roll, but also because the logistics of this fight are painful enough without adding a few mooks.

Okay, the loot list linked under the Campaign Info tab has been updated to the best of my knowledge. You guys actually have a fair amount of healing potions and wands. I've also taken loot back from Dashil and Radag, since that was stuff that you all earned.
Let me know if I've missed something or if you have something to add.

I'm hopeful that the AoO hits, but if not... Doc would like to jump and try and land on Vorkstag sending them both to the ground (and hopefully inflicting some bludgeoning damage and falling damage on V in the process). Not sure how to adjudicate that. Acrobatics check? Touch attack?

Damnit. Didn't realise about the bow. Ah well, Aduard is flustered, so it sort of makes sense. To be honest I'm not sure Edison is even going to want the bow back.
