Services is the way to go. By all means though if anyone wants to buy a carriage or horse go for it.

If we bought, we'd only need one carraige, assuming one of us was the drover. But, it is still much cheaper to hire.

Doc has a horse, so he'll probably ride that. I honestly haven't worked out the details for feed, etc., beyond what he's got in his saddlebags.

somehow when I was copying my spells over I wrote Magic Weapon instead of Magic Missile. I had a blank slot, so I used that. Is that okay? Should have realised this when I went to hold.

Yep, signage is a solid plan. Doc will insist that the signs go well before and after this point on the roadway as well, so that if the creature ranges wide in its hunt it doesn't get anyone for miles either way.
