Based on title alone, I pick 9-08: Birthright Betrayed.
Glad to see Dalen is sticking with us.

I updated PFS Scenario Tracker. Lazarus will be level-5.2 at the end of this scenario.
In PbP, a table of 7 players is okay with me.
I've already played #3-23 The Goblinblood Dead and #9-22 Grotto of the Deluged God.
Any of the rest of your list would work for me; however, Lazarus would have to go Slow Progression to complete the two-part Champion's of the Chalice arc. With this group, I wouldn't mind doing that at all.
#8-18 Champion's Chalice Part 1: Blazing Dangerous Trails
#8-21 Champion's Chalice Part 2: Agents of the Eye
GM Ladile
Okay, let's see...
(1) Since people still seem okay with giving 7 players a try, Eric will join us after we finish the current scenario. He's expressed interest in bringing in his URogue who'll be at the same point exp-wise as Dalen when we start (2.1 in regards to level). He may or may not have some GM credit to play with, however.
(2) For APL purposes, even if we still end up with three 2nd level characters (Dalen, Eric's rogue, Brayden if GM Red wants to continue with him) the calculation comes out to 3.1 which means we can play up.
(3) It sounds like Lazarus for sure will need to slow-track a scenario or two until we can get Dalen and Eric to 3rd level to open up a couple more scenario options but he's already indicated that he'd be willing to do that if needed.
(4) Laz is okay with playing any of the above (revised) list, Meredith votes for Birthright Betrayed. I'm good to run any of them though I've actually *played* the two Champion's Chalice scenarios, Signs in Senghor, and Scourge of the Farheavens so those would be slightly easier to prep.
(5) Going to get our next proper Gameplay update done now! *whoosh*

I'm always a big fan of multi's, the flow so nicely, so count me a vote towards the Champ's Chalice's (So long as you can vouch for their awesomeness vs suckage)
**EDIT**
Apparently I'll be able to vouch for the awesomeness/suckage on that pair of adventures myself as I am doing them on Dale at the moment (We started for gameday and I wasn't aware of the name of the mission! HA!
Guess you'll need to take that off the list. I need to pay attention better to game names!

Any of those look good to me. :)
===
In case it wasn't clear in the game post, this video shows what Dalen's basically doing. Apologies for the quality and length. I couldn't find a clip with just the scene in it. 7:36ish is where the relevant part ends.
Oh, and she's definitely doing this on purpose. No question about it here. :P
GM Ladile
Hah! Well, looks like the two Champion's Chalice scenarios are off the table then but that's okay since we've still got plenty to pick from:
#9-12 Shrine of the Sacred Tempest
#9-18 Scourge of the Farheavens
So far there's one definite vote for Birthright Betrayed and everyone else that's weighed in has no particular preference. Unless there's any strong objections then BB is what I'll start working on prepping next. I might run Signs in Senghor after that one, since I think this group would enjoy it :)

Sounds like a good plan. I'll let you all know how Champion's Chalice's turn out. So far my character almost died, but is feeling much bettah!

Sorry, I realized Pat (Jan) and I have already played #9-08 Birthright Betrayed.
I was updating PFS Tracker based on my Paizo sessions history. When I looked at the product description page, it looked very familiar. I realized I hadn't yet reported the August 18 session, which was delayed during Paizo's period of site outage. It's reported now, and PFS Tracker is updated.

This is Eric. Just checking in here, as Yorad continue to slog his way in the city of Kaer Maga, he he.
Any of those scenarios will work for me, as Yorad is fairly easy when it comes to playing :P

Scourge of the Farheavens, then?
Brayden Valdrin
|
I haven't said anything because I'm completely fine with whatever adventure is chosen. It's great players like yourselves and our GM that make the game fun and interesting for me.
GM Ladile
Scourge is fine and then we can do Signs in Senghor next. After that, the level ranges will hopefully be right to run Six Seconds to Midnight :)
GM Ladile
Just checking in to say that I'm going to give Jan and Brayden a little longer before botting and continuing on with the rest of the round. Since I'm on my second night of three at work I've not been in the biggest hurry anyway :)
Dalen Stonestep

I imagine if Dalen ever goes back to Cheliax after this, she's going to have to be in disguise. That's what? 6 Acolytes, a nobleman, a noblewoman, and a priestess that she's ticked off or embarrassed? Not to mention the bride and groom and the dozen or so other people that she's personally caused the injury or embarrassment of.
Hope the inclusion of the Priestess and the Noblewoman was at least entertaining. :)

BTW, I did try to post via my phone before I got botted. I guess my phone and my data plan didn't make the Paizo tech-rally! I thought it went through, but alas it was not so!
GM Ladile
No worries Jan! That isn't the first time I've heard people complain of posts they made just vanishing into the void. Guess there's still some gremlins lurking about in the website code :/
GM Ladile
To answer an earlier question, everyone's improv and actions during this chase sequence have been a delight to read and to narrate - I've laughed out loud several times during this entire thing :)
GM Ladile
And...that's it! Aside from some wrap-up stuff, we're officially done with the Faithless & Forgotten scenario trilogy! I'll be working on getting the game reported and getting your chronicles to you over the weekend, as well as getting things ready for our next adventure.
In the meantime, a small peek behind the curtain this time...
For successfully retrieving Zefiro Balinger in one piece you complete your Primary Success Condition and earn 1 Prestige! To earn your Secondary Success Condition and your other Prestige Point, you needed to accomplish three of the five tasks:
(1) Kill none of the Bloody Nail guards
(2) Recover Zefiro’s unaltered histories from area A9 (the Vault)
(3) Cause at least eight delays while fleeing Ostenso
(4) Defeat the interrogator’s forces in area B (The Custodice Break) in seven rounds or fewer
(5) Or avoid the final combat encounter entirely
You succeeded at four of the five and since you did so well during the chase sequence you were able to get enough of a lead on the interrogator that you were able to make a clean getaway and skip the final encounter entirely! A successful infiltration and extraction mission and you didn't kill a soul - well done!
Even though I know everyone will be continuing on to our next scenario I want to thank everyone for sticking with me through all three scenarios (and the last two in Jan's case). I know it's taken us a goodly portion of the year to get through the trilogy but I do hope that everyone has enjoyed themselves. Thank you all for being such great players; it's been a joy to GM for all of you and I look forward to the continuing shenanigans of this group, especially since Dalen will be sticking around and the upcoming addition of Eric's Yorad to the crew :)
GM Ladile
And just for fun, which of the scenarios did everyone enjoy the most? I'm pretty sure that I know which one was my favorite to run, but I'm curious to hear what the rest of you think :)

An inverted chase scene was really cool, I definitely liked that ending sequence.
Liberate one or more captives, hostages, or slaves during an adventure.
Hey GM, can you confirm we completed this faction goal?
Guisseppe "Lil Frankie" Franko
|
Similar for Frankie for faction goals:
Defeat a known slaver whose Challenge Rating is at least equal to your character level. For the purposes of this goal, use the definition of slaver from the Freedom Fighter reward.
For the purposes of this reward, a slaver is a creature that owns at least five slaves, is maintaining a compulsion spell or effect to control a creature for at least one day, or is explicitly cited as trafficking slaves.
I've gotta admit the final one was right up Frankie's alley. He would have broken people out a bit more sneakily but it worked out nicely. He never even had to make an attack roll that I can remember!
All the chases I've been in so far have been very entertaining. They did a good job setting them up and making them interesting. And you did a fantastic job of bringing the actual chase to life.
Yorad Cinderhunter

Just checking in again here.
Yorad is still stuck in the City of Strangers scenario, but it looks like he is close to the final encounter! I will let you know when he is finished with it, or if you want to follow along HERE feel free to do so!

Awesome experience, adventuring with all of you. Always appreciate your amazing GMing, Ladile.
Looking forward to the next adventure!
Re Chronicle sheets, I just noticed that Lazarus still displays the Scarab Sages faction icon. I shifted him to Dark Archive earlier this summer. I'll check the date of the transition and let you know.
GM Ladile
@Yorad - No worries! In fact, that actually works out as I'd hoped to take a short break between wrapping up the current scenario and beginning the next one. This gives me a little more time to get stuff prepped both for Scourge of the Farheavens as well as for my Session #2 scenario that'll be starting very soon.
@Meredith & Frankie - Oh yeah, you both totally nailed that 'freeing captives' goal! I'll be sure to note it on your chronicles :)
@Lazarus - Oh reaaaaally? I'm glad you told me that! I tried to go back and search discussion to see if I'd missed that somewhere but couldn't find anything. But either way, I still have everyone's chronicles from the first two adventures so if I need to go back and change your Faction on them then that won't be a problem.
(What's the point of having all this space on Google Drive if I don't use it, right?)
@All - Meredith & Frankie have already done so but if you have a Day Job or want to see about checking off a Faction Journal goal then please do so now :)
Brayden Valdrin

So busy this weekend, but I will drop a post in tonight, and have a look at the faction goals.
Thanks for such a fun adventure, GM! Despite having played it before, your spin on these scenarios was very different than my prior experience. Both great GMs, but unique in their own ways. Nicely done.
GM Ladile
That's fine Brayden. I'm happy to throttle things down a little since it seems like folks are busy with general weekend stuff as well as other Gameday VII commitments. We should still have plenty of time to fit our next scenario in under the Gameday window even if it takes us a few days to get rolling :)
Also thanks again guys, I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves!
Brayden Valdrin

Okay, no faction goals seem to apply for Brayden here. Here's my day job.
Craft (Weapons): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Day job result for Dalen was 8. I tend to roll it at the beginning of the scenario.
Post with original roll can be found here.

Hokay! Game was reported yesterday and I actually got the chronicles done yesterday but apparently only posted them in my deepest of deep dreams or something. But fear not, for >>here<< they are!
Some notes:
The Delvehaven Star boon is only available to characters who have played all three scenarios (and more or less in chronological order).
Those of the Liberty's Edge & Dark Archive factions come out a little ahead here, as you can see. Hopefully we can tackle some scenarios down the road that'll offer something cool for Silver Crusade/Grand Lodge/Sovereign Court.
I've probably jacked something up somewhere on someone's chronicle - if so, just let me know here or via PM and I'll get it fixed once I get home from work tonight!

Chronicle looks perfect. Frankie has been updated. I may purchase a wayfinder though... guess I'll ponder it between games.

(0/1 Box) Delvehaven Star
You were an integral part of the Pathfinder Society's first sanctioned expeditions in Cheliax in many years. In recognition of your role in this important milestone, the Society has imprinted your wayfinder with the Delvehaven Star- named in honor of a famous Chelish Pathfinder lodge. You gain a +2 bonus on Knowledge (history, local and nobility) checks associated with Cheliax, and you gain a +1 bonus to your initiative while adventuring in Cheliax. Furthermore, you can check the box that precedes this boon when spending Prestige Points for spellcasting services to reduce the cost by 2 (minimum 0).
The best way to survive a mission is to avoid trouble in the first place, and the halfling Tamrin Credance has taught you a few tricks for evading enemies. You can cross this boon off your Chronicle sheet before attempting a Bluff or Disguise check, or any check attempted during a chase. You gain a +4 competence bonus on the check.

I typed up the boons. I can kind of read the Dark Archive boon, I'm sure you DA losers can correct it. And then store it in a vault, never to be read again.
GM Ladile
Sorry Meredith, next time I'll just cross out the name instead of the entire boon! Also I realize I should have asked first, but do you guys mind me just filling out the relevant sections of the chronicle? It seems most other PbP GMs just do that and it's admittedly a little easier and quicker to do it that way.
Meredith Ulmari
|
Please do fill them out!
And don't worry about the boons, as a GM I'll redact those entirely if they don't apply to the PC. But I was already copying the other two, I figured I should copy that one.

So I slapped my Hell's Rebels chronicle on Brayden here, and he's now level 3. I think that means I can continue on with him after all instead of switching out with another level 3 PC!
GM Ladile
Okay Jan, I'll get your chronicle adjusted shortly. In the future though, I'd prefer everyone to roll their Day Jobs here in Discussion so it's easier to find them :)
GM Ladile
Jan, your chronicle should be updated now to reflect your Day Job earnings; you can find the new version using the same link that I posted a few posts up.
And okay guys, we're now done with Faithless & Forgotten and entering a holding pattern of sorts until Eric's current game wraps up hopefully sooner rather than later. In the meantime, feel free to entertain yourselves in Gameplay by posting about your intermission adventures if you like or you can just take a breather until we're ready to get rolling once more. And of course you've got time to get your characters updated and make/think about purchases.
Scourge of the Farheavens might be a nice change of pace after all the heavy Cheliax stuff, so I hope you'll enjoy it. I will say that it's more of an outdoorsy sort of scenario so that should be right up Dalen and Meredith's alley, possibly Jan's too :)
GM Ladile
Just a note to say that I'm enjoying the posts in Gameplay guys - glad you don't mind entertaining yourselves for a short time :)
*Who the hell is it? Who the BLEEP knocks on our BLEEPING door at the break of BLEEPING dawn!*
As someone who is generally not an early bird by nature, I think Sid's asked the most important question so far :P
GM Ladile
Heh, I know a few people IRL who'd be rich if that were a real job!
In other news, Yorad's hopeful that his current scenario will finish up before too much longer so maybe we'll be able to get rolling on our next adventure soonish. The temporary break is nice though, since there's still a lot going on with Gameday on my end and probably for most of the rest of you too.
Speaking of Gameday, I hope everyone else's games are going well? My other GM'd games are going fairly well (though I've had a bit of GM writer's block/feeling puny the last couple of days that's slowed me down a bit) and the handful of player games I'm in are going well, with two of them getting close to wrapping up.
