wtf did i just say? *facepalms with both hands*
Considering what they put in potions in the olden days, I'm not surprised this came up.

The last time I setup a caster, the spell component pouch had a hole in the side of it from the start. So it was tied around the waist, and stuffed with the most important spell components for a sorcerer. Very comfortable, and silk lined was worth the five gold.
...Oh god, its contagious.

On a separate note the absence of the GM for a couple of days from the Paizo boards entirely is .... noticed? Hopefully not indicative of anything...
damn it you made me put on my snooping glasses and you're right, he made several posts across his aliases on monday saying he would continue as normal and then ceased after that. troubling.

Maybe he's still helping out his friend, that's not something I would have imagined getting settled quickly.
(Or maybe he has orchestrated an intricate ruse to create even more tension, involving PMs with all his other games. This is most definitely it.)
well, while i was snooping around one of his posts said he had found an actual lawyer for his friend...
I feel too stalkery

I know looking around at that stuff feels a little odd, no? Sometimes its helpful for context though. Guess we will see what happens though...
I know what you mean though. It's like when I come up on a thread that has a whole bunch of posts that I haven't read, and I'm just looking for 1 specific piece of info. Do I go back and actually look for that needle in a haystack of otherwise irrelevant material, or do I post a question (and risk sounding like "that guy" who didn't read the stuff that came before) asking about that specific piece of info? I know about typing in search boxes and stuff, but sometimes there are questions where the computer algorithms can't understand the phrasing.

Yeah, I get that one. Sometimes the only good ways to search are on phrases that aren't a 100%, so you miss it even with searches, or it's something that shows up 30 times a page.

I'm in his WotW game, mentioned he'd be back on Monday, after finishing up with his friend. I'm imagining it may have taken more time than he expected, as the new lawyer probably wanted details on everything he'd done so far, etc.
He disappeared for a bit previously, but he did show back up. I'm guessing its just taking longer than he expected.

I married an Attorney, so I understand, am glad you DID actually find one to help, and I hope things are going well. As a non lawyer, I can sometimes understand what's going on, but others, no idea, and that it's usually best to seek an expert in your budget range. Yes, they do exist, but are harder to find.

Clearly, our GM has been eaten by a Grue. Alas, another name for the Kingmaker Obituaries...

Oddly, this is the second gestalt in the last 4 months to get a huge response, and then the GM vanished. It's probably just a coincidence, but it's still odd. I do hope the GM returns. I'm honestly fine with anyone who's willing to entertain Shi. He's a fun character to play, but odd enough to be hard to get into games.

And then it hit me: Nethys is a gestalt.
But yeah, if our original GM vanishes for too long, I wouldn't mind someone else taking up the reins.
"A huge crowd of adventurers gathers in response to the charter."
"Alright, you lot, fight to the death till you thin out your numbers. We'll see who's ruthless enough to rule."

My 2 copper on it is, that in optimal circumstances, our GM comes back, starts up 2 tables of 7, AND you start up a table of 7... there are still at least 2 tables worth of interested players not chosen.
I've only been around the boards for 4-6 mo, and sadly, this is not the 1st, 2nd OR 3rd fairly popular recruitment, that I've been interested in, that has had a case of GM vanish. I'm still hopeful that Archlichey! will be back.
Perhaps we have a wandering monster that's targeting GM's? Or perhaps just PbP posters?
(I'm interested in Playing KM, at somepoint. I really like the amount of effort Archlichey! has planned to smooth over the rough parts, so that it works better as a PbP game. From what I've seen, I may just need to run it myself for my table top group, when we finish RotRL in 2-4 years {We don't get to game all that often}. That said, I'd be willing to join someone else's table if one opens up.)
