If the ellicoth is just going to eat EH-RKs sniper fire until it dies then I am happy with that.
Well, the car is much faster than the ellicoth, and it's hiding and ambushing skills are not the best, due to size penalty and the dead surface of the planet. I could draw the fight out, by retreating and following again and again, but that's no fun for anyone.

Hey guys,
We have a tropical storm heading our way and i've been activated by the national guard to assist. I'll try to keep posting from my phone hotspot, but please understand if I can't
Thanks,
Niles

Fair enough, but then they should not have been able to target the players still inside the truck, so can we call it even? Otherwise Maxim could charge over the bone pile and land a crit on Vesh.

@Maxim
I'm not 100% sure about the starfinder action economy. But getting out of a vehicle, moving over 50feet to the closest bone trooper and doing an attack seems to be a bit over the edge.
Imma concur with Maxim on this one. It seems like seeing a massive pile of bones in the middle of the road might be something that we should've 1) seen a while back and 2) stopped as soon as we saw it. Which would at least have given us more room to maneuver. Same thing with seeing cars trying to box us in. If they get free actions (how do they get a surprise round? Aren't we supposed to at least get a Perception check to see that OMG THOSE CARS ARE GONNA BOX US IN!!1!) then it seems fair to say that 'open car door' could be called a free action.
And another thing, WTH are they getting Magic Missiles from? That spell doesn't even exist, near as I can tell. =?
Foxy Quickpaw
Ok, we call it even.
Before the situation comes up in the future. No charging through a pile of bones.
As for those perception checks and surprise: You're supposed to be on foot according to the adventure. And it would be over real quick if I left you all the freedom such a vehicle offers.
Though I have to admit that a little more planning ahead on my part would smoothen those "You shall not pass!" moments a bit.

Err. I don't think I ever leveled to 6.
EH-RK
So wait? Are we leveling to 6 or skipping straight to 7?

Thou must level to seven. Seven shall be the level of the level up and the level of the level up shall be seven. Eight shalt thou not level to, neither shalt thou level to six, excepting that thou then proceedeth to level to seven. Nine is right out.
EH-RK
Woah. Ok.

Theme Benefit
Smuggler (6th Level)
You know how and when to move illicit goods and how to get in and out of tight situations that might spell doom for a less seasoned smuggler. Once per day when you attempt a Stealth check to hide, you can roll twice and take the higher result. Additionally, whenever someone attempts a Perception check to search your body for objects you have hidden on your person using the hide object task of the Sleight of Hand skill, the searcher receives only a +2 bonus to the check, instead of a +4 bonus.

Specialization Skill Mastery - 7th Level (Stealth, Acrobatics)
You become so confident in certain skills that you can use them reliably even under adverse conditions. When attempting a skill check with a skill in which you have the Skill Focus feat, you can take 10 even if stress or distractions would normally prevent you from doing so.
Uncanny Agility (Ex) - 7th Level
You are immune to the flat-footed condition, and your opponent doesn’t gain any bonuses to attack rolls against you from flanking you or attacking you when you’re prone. Furthermore, covering fire and harrying fire don’t provide any advantage against you.
Feat Gained
Deadly Aim: When you take the attack or full attack action with weapons (including a solarian’s solar manifestation, but not spells or other special abilities of any kind), you can take a –2 penalty to your attack rolls. If you do, those attacks deal additional damage equal to half your base attack bonus (minimum 1).

I had some trouble with the level up. Couldn't figure out my skill ranks, so I only added 1 per level, so 2 total. Seems really wrong given EH-RK's 22 rank gain. What's the rule?

4 + Int Mod, so 6 skill ranks / level for you. SCRB page 100, bottom right. Or here: http://www.starjammersrd.com/classes/solarian/

Thank you! I popped Diplomacy, Engineering, Perception and Stealth to 7 ranks and brought computers up from 1 to 6. New Stellar Revelation is Gravity Surge and I get Flashing Strikes at lvl 7.
Best of all, lvl 6 Icon is a CELEBRITY! So I will now be even more insufferable, especially in public.
Maxim Petrovich
No worries. Can we simply exchange old equipment at fair market value, or how do you do that? Also, can we roleplay potential discounts, using persuasion and/or celebrity? ;)
Also, any chance to open Recruitment and add new players now that we're back at Absolom? Seems like 4 semi-regular players is not going to be enough as we get closer to the endgame.
EH-RK
Old equipment is sold for 10% of cost (that's the rulebook version of selling loot anyways)
WELCOME BACK BOREAL!
Foxy Quickpaw
-- CELEBRITY (6th lvl Icon) --
You are famous enough that pretty much everyone has either heard of you or can quickly find information about you (it's a DC 10 Culture check to recognize your name and a DC 20 Culture check for someone to recognize you out of context from your appearance alone). Among those who follow your iconic profession, you’ve built up both fans and detractors due to your celebrity. If you’re looking for a generic person like "a doctor who can treat this disease," you can almost always find one who’s a fan and whose attitude starts as friendly or helpful to you; this takes 2d4 hours. At the GM’s discretion, fans might give you services (although not goods) for a discount or even for free.
Just to be sure we're talking about the same here:
Ysoki refractor suit
Level: 6
Price: 4,120
D-suit III
Level: 9
Price: 13,300
And you now want to have that suit for 2,412 + some parading around the shop instead of 13,300? (Taking into account the 10% rule for selling stuff)
Even selling the Ysoki suit for full price leaves a 7k gap. Is there a chance you meant the Dsuit II? There the difference would be reasonable.
Maxim Petrovich
Is there a chance you meant the Dsuit II?
Nope, thought I'd shoot for the Moon - fully expecting to go down in flames there, but maybe some good roleplaying. ;)
Also, I think the decimal point on the reward comment was for me, and I will respond in Gameplay as such.
Foxy Quickpaw
The decimal point was for everyone who checks their bank account.
The issue is, that all APs lack in material rewards. And you're seriously behind WBL already. A sell rate of 10% doesn't make it better. So I decided to throw some money your way. With that you'd have WBL for about 8th level. But after lacking for some levels I see no harm in getting you some early.
