We end up having these psychological discussions quite regularly. I want to make sure that you are enjoying them? I enjoy trying to figure out how Boreal would think about a lot of the stuff, especially considering it is both similar and very different to my own mindset.
Interestingly on the scarring conversation...
When I was a toddler I was an idiot and pulled a mug of boiling water over myself in the middle of winter. Woolen clothes are great for absorbing boiling water and keeping it next to your skin.
I'm not sure what percentage of my body it was off hand but my entire left arm and the front of my torso had to have multiple skin grafts and the like.
The ones on my arm have stretched somewhat as I have grown but the one on my chest has stayed the same size (so gotten smaller to me in proportion).
Not sure why I am telling you all this. >_<
Anyyywho....
I promise that any reticence is Manteca trying to figure out how to communicate with Boreal, and not any concerns on a player-to-player level. :) Love the Boreal/Manteca banter.
That said, I'm sorry if I accidentally hit any nerves with the burn reference - And glad that you were ok! Scary when that stuff happens to a toddler.

You can use it that way.

Oh no, no nerves were hit at all :)
Was just saying thinking that Boreal's stance on burns is very probably mimicking my own.

You can use it that way. Awesome, thank you GM. There's a ton of confusion about how detonators work on the forums, etc. I'll never use cheese, but stringing grenades together sounds like something my saboteur/sniper/spy character would do.
Eric will make two explosive packages.
He dubs it.

I think that is not too futuristic, to have some explosives connected. And you need a lot of preparation for that. It's only fair that not only enemies can use traps.

One of the themes that I really like to explore with Imagine is the whole reality-changing concept of telepathic communication.
(Oh, I'm posting this in my main alias to underscore that I'm speaking in the third person.)
Like, beyond the convenience of cell phones, if you have the ability to communicate telepathically, and other people don't, you can have the -really- odd situation of someone just...pausing. Like, being silent, or just silently staring at someone else, and _they_ are having an ENTIRE conversation, but no one else even knows that they are -talking-.
Hence, things seem to just...happen. Someone just stares at someone, and then suddenly they'll nod, and then move off. Or someone, somewhere, starts doing something with a purpose, and there's no indication of where that purpose came from.
Anyway _I_ think it's really cool. It's number 2 on my list of the three most coolest powers. (Number 3 is flight, because suddenly things like "gravity" and "all earth-bound obstacles" don't apply to your movement. Number 1 is telekinesis, because now gravity doesn't apply---to all objects that you desire.) (Invisibility is a close 4.)
Yeah, just wait until we start getting embedded computers of our own - then not only can you be 'telepathically' communicating with anyone at any time, but (in theory) could be running your own virtual reality from your head.
I think wearables and embedded human systems (and then from there, man-made intelligences) are gonna put us into our own Starfinder scenarios sooner than we realize. Assuming civilization can keep it's s* together that long.
Personal powers list: 1.) flight (Cuz flying, yeah!) 2.) let's be real I just want flying. Non-invasive, non-threatening, would save me a ton on gas even if I need to wear a full insulated flight suit for the commute

If we are talking super powers, I would just want knowledge. Lots and lots of knowledge.
With enough knowledge you can make pretty much anything possible.

Manteca is now leveled up to 5!
*expertise die is now 1d6+1
*expertise now includes intimidate
*took Antagonize as my feat to now debuff dem villains
*stat boost went to Dex, Int, Wis, Cha
I dunno, other stuff too, but I'm way less organized that EH-RK or Boreal. But that advanced med-kit is going to give us a solidly reliable way to heal hit points and do Medicine even if Imagine goes down or is out of spells :)

Not surprisingly EH-RK would directly start into Space, the final frontier... to boldly go where no one has gone before.

@Imagine
You can put the casting into last round and be the first in actual combat with the air elementals.
Kitsune Game Master
Where do you get the stats for the air elementals?

I highly highly suggest using The Archives of Nethys he has as deal with Paizo and hosts all their content a few months after release. He keeps things current. It's an awesome site.
Kitsune Game Master
You found the air elemental including the DC for the whirlwind ability on that site?
Host Shirren Envoy 5 (Icon) | HP: 30/30 SP: 28/28 Res 5/5 | EAC 13 | KAC 14 | Fort +2 Ref +5 Will +5 | Init +1 | Percep +8
Whirlwind is buried in Universal Monster Abilities, which is in the air elemental graft... I get what they did and why they did it, and it's easy and quick to build monsters, but sometimes you just want the damn stat block available.
Kitsune Game Master
I saw it. You got the common elemental stuff. And the listing of the abilities of the AIR elementals and the whirlwind description with the note that you find it in the monster entry as Whirlwind DC XY. Only that the entry for the air elemental is generic, and the generic one for the small elementals also doesn't list it. I haven't found it so far. I took the one from PF Bestiary then.

Great, thanks GM. Edited m y post... though I'm guessing a 13 gets me nothing.
Kitsune Game Master
I'm not sure.
Let me explain with a PF example:
Human Commoner(1): DC5 (Very common, CR1/3 at best)
Human Wizard(20): DC? (Still a human. But as level 20 caster very rare. So DC34 for 15(rare) + CR19?)
HP 46/46 SP: 49/49 DR: 6/- FF: 5/2 RP: 10/10 | 1st: 6/6 2nd: 4/4 3rd: 3/3 EAC: 20 KAC: 21 | Init: +2 | Perc: +15/16 | F: +6 R: +7 W: +9 | Atk:+8/2d4| Human Mys 7 |
Just let me know when I'm at the top.
Also, since elementals of air are not usually found in space, it sounds like they'd start with the rare, and then add CR as appropriate.
Kitsune Game Master
I told you the distance 55foot and you only get half movement. You do the math. ;)

Thanks for the bump, Imagine. Sorry I didn't provide the bump earlier - super busy at work lately, including a robot that went rogue, crashed one of it's lasers and needed to be repaired in a rush job.
Lesson: Don't, under any circumstances, push robots.

I guess what I meant is.... are they some visible barrier or can we see all the way to the end of the room.

You could see there in principle, if it wasn't mostly dark down there.

Eric has Darkvision......so he can see in actuality unless its magical darkness.

@Imagine
Wrong order.
First you open the doors. Then you are in the Dun Dun corridor.
Kitsune Game Master
I wrote you to B4. Where the light is blinking. Because it doesn't matter which of the two doors in B3 you choose.
From there on, the choices make a difference again, so I leave it to you to choose which way to go.
Kitsune Game Master
The rooms are specific when it comes to looting - other than the first look - so please give some more details, what you do and where.
Kitsune Game Master
@EH-RK
Sorry, but I don't see how all of that fits into a surprise round. And as per normal initiative, one robot acts before you.

Technically speaking, no one would be rolling initiative until the grenade hit the floor....since the robots haven't sensed me.
However, adjudicate the actions I posted however you want. Those are still what Eric plans on doing.
