Who wants cockroach clusters?! Cockroach clusters for sale, here!!
Also, I now want to go against a giant shirren so I can recreate the ended of Men In Black where Will Smith antagonizes the buy alien by squashing the roaches.
Of course you can. The question is mostly if you want to look threatening backing EH-RK's intimidation attempt, or if you want to undermine it with the offended "I don't eat people" look at EH-RK or the disgusted "I won't eat that" look at the lashunta, or whatever else you choose to convey.
EH-RK, our options are either that we have been using our armor to negate heat saves, and thus draining the power, and they are now dead. Or we have not been using our armor for that and we still have power.
Environmental Protections:
ACTIVATION AND DURATION
A suit of armor’s environmental protections last for a number of days equal to its item level. Activating or deactivating these environmental protections takes a standard action if you are wearing the suit (assuming the armor was properly donned). If you have access to a suit that is unattended or worn by a helpless creature, you can turn on its environmental protection as a full action, but turning it off requires a Computers check to hack the system, treating the suit as a computer with a tier equal to half the suit’s item level (the base DC to hack a computer is equal to 13 + 4 per tier).
The duration of a suit’s environmental protections does not need to be expended all at once, but it must be expended in 1-hour increments. Recharging this duration requires access to a functioning starship or an environment recharging station (publicly available in most technologically advanced or average settlements) and takes 1 minute per day recharged. Most of the recharging stations that replenish devices, such as batteries and power cells, also recharge suits is typically free of price. All other functions on a suit of armor with no duration remaining still work normally.
This raises the question of whether the breathing function falls under the umbrella of environmental protection.

Ok so.....suits don't take batteries.

No one told they activated their environmental protection, or did you? We had a discussion about that topic but I think we came to the conclusion to ignore this annoying climate stuff.
If not, I have to look up the rolls needed and you can provide them instead of having depleted your batteries.

Right. No one explicitly said we were using our armor...so how about we just assume we didn't and we assume that it wasn't too hot (yet) and we can proceed as normal.
IE: We seal our armor and we can survive for a few hours during a moldstorm.
This moldstorm is when my IRL group's technomancer remembers that he had Life Bubble - after days of them tracking loss of armor charges and taking subdual tropical heat damage.

Sorry for going missing!! Things have been hectic for me for the last week or so. Suddenly lost my job and had to search for a new one. But, I did find a new job, so things should be fine for now!

Hey, posting will be spotty for the next few weeks. New job is making us work a lot of overtime right now, and I'm basically passing out as soon as I get home. I'll post when I can, and my brain isn't fuzzy, but bot me if needed.
It's not like you are the only one holding up progress. So no need to bot. At the moment I think we're at one post per week, per player. Or at least it feels like that.
Man, I hope it is not as hot where you guys are as it is here. We've had 100% humidity and 90+ degree temperatures all week - it's been like living in a sauna. I don't remember what it feels like to not be sweaty. If our wildlife was bigger, it'd be just like Castrovel here!
Recap: We are all inside, some of us are wounded. We are chasing these douchecanoes that stole a researcher we need and there's a sniper somewhere outside. Can someone do some healing?
That would have been Reynotto. That reminds me - how to get him out of game? Eaten by the local fauna?
Reynotto has two mystic cure prepared. Once you figure out who actually needs healing and who just rests for 10 minutes to get stamina back I'll bot him for now and cast the healing.
Hi all! I believe I will be joining the game soon--taking the place of a certain NPC and also filling your now empty mystic slot!
If anyone can help me figure out how to locate a kasatha avatar, please do. I've tried a bunch of different filters with no luck yet. I thought this object was a good fit for a star shaman mystic, but I prefer to have a face...
Awesome! I found the one you indicated, Foxy, and then found a 2nd Kasatha from Iron Gods as I kept working backwards from the end of the pages. I'm set now!
Also you need to add the character stats to your profile directly. Half of the time I'm sitting behind a firewall that blocks access to mythweavers and the like.
I'll open a thread (storywise) for you, so you know where you are. Let's see what you make of it.
