Unfortunately, two character ideas I had were quashed in the Additional Resources for Arcane Anthologies. Apparently, no love for dwarf magi and some backhanded love for rogue casters.

Re: downtime: that depends how quickly Rissi started cooking up runeforged gear. I would assume immediately, after which you can leave the place. This encounter is actually the last part of book 5 and I haven't read through book 6 in a while so I need to refresh myself before this fight ends.
You're in Bloomington, I think? I've used the medical cyclotron there to irradiate space parts on a work trip. Ugly humidity, but some amazing food around there.

OK, so I'm reading this as current fight is day after clearing the halls (and leveling) but before getting gear.
@Rissi: I was in Bloomington for nearly five years. Great town and yes, also great food for such a small place. But I'm up in Madison, WI now for probably another two years or so while I finish my PhD. Then hopefully back to the farm in Indiana where I never have to sit in a lab again....

Yes, we live just a few blocks north of Lake Monona and with so many lakes around the bugs can be pretty bad. Madison's a nice town but I hate living in a city, or even in a small town or subdivision outside the city like we are now and can't wait to get back out in the country with no neighbors....

I did a second pass at selling unclaimed items items. After things bought/crafted, donations, and other money spent, this is the spare cash:

I'll craft two simulacra (7th level Rissi!) to expedite crafting, otherwise it will take ~forty-four days. When I'm done, I'll instruct them to help out my sisters, parents, the family business and Miana's school. As a bonus, I now have have a reason to use the swarming racial feature.
For the record, there is a ancient blue dragon skeleton and two 7th level Rissis guarding sandpoint now.

I used the communal money in our account to craft a greater strand of prayer beads, which I give to Lucian. I craft a rod of enemy detection for Miana from the same pool.
Lucian Sorry about the confusion earlier with the tomes and manuals. Also, if the morningstar is your Dominant weapon, I believe you get a free +1 if it starts out nonmagical (masterwork) weapon.
Which just made me realize that I have an actual weapon now. I should probably put it on my character sheet :) I'll stick it in between my 10+ spellbooks.
You're also welcome to the rod of extend. Can you just mark it down as used once per day - I'm regularly casting extended life bubble to deal with the whole high altitude situation.

I especially relish Symbol of Pain (1000gp per cast) and Insanity (5000gp per cast) since they have no Hp limit. Not enough money for Insanity, but I'll get two casts' worth of components for Pain. My design is to inscribe it on my buckler, then cover it with a piece of cloth until I trigger it.

I think my Scarab of Protection actually just possibly protected me from that ickiness that just occurred, but being unsure I just went with it.

An astute observation. It seems this wendigo may have been haunting this place for quite some time. Perhaps even trapping a pair of dwarven brothers in this place and driving them mad....

Aww shucks, my Perception is only +19 :P
Leveled up for more goodness. My Lay on Hands is more powerful now, More and more powerful stunning fists, I can use a ki point to make a single unarmed strike roll twice for damage and hit and use the better of the two, and finally I gain my second deific boon that allows my unarmed strikes to deal damage as 1 size category larger and gain the axiomatic property for a round as a free action, up to 16 rounds a day. Who needs Runeforged weapons with fists like these :P
Perception bumped up to +26.
Finally got to Great, Great, Greater-Rage. Who wants some?
And now my weapons act as good aligned from Blessed Striker. Hooray!

I just realized that I was waiting on Kufieno for a number to report and then completely forgot to report Book 5. It's been taken care of now though. If Kufieno ever pops back in he can give me a number and I'll add it later I guess.
I built a profile for Kufieno, updated to current level and properly outfitted.
We could potentially run this incarnation in the game, if we have any interest.

If you feel like botting him (by yourself or cooperatively), go for it. I sent him an email a week ago with a chronicle from Jade Regent after it wrapped but he hasn't responded.

Regarding the Sihedron Ring, I think the best suited to use it for now is Miana (+1 to her AC and saves, and she's a frontliner). Any other ideas?
I'm hesitant to used anything specifically marked with a sihedron. Bad juju.
Is Lucian going to claim the ring of invisibility? Seems to be a good choice.
It would be a nice choice, but my fingers slots are already full. If we find enough Sihedron rings for everyone, I'd like to upgrade my ring of protection +1 to one of those, and the other one is the Ring of Revelation that allows me to Channel Energy.
Moreover, I got a lot of new goodies this time with the staff of healing and scrolls.

Yeah the staff of life seems like a needed necessity in case worst case scenarios happen (we didn't grab a 5000gp diamond I think :P).
I'm indifferent about the ring; the AC boost would be nice, but I also agree with Rissi that there may be issues with using the ring against someone who may have well designed the darn thing.
Seal has an open ring slot and its debatable if cats can wear rings. But with Shield of Faith & Cloak of Res +5, it doesn't offer much but free up a 1st level slot for Lucian.
Also, Seal has 2 negative levels. I think these are the permanent kind. If so, Seal would like a Restoration/Greater Restoration cast on him. Regular Restore is OK, but it can only handle a negative level a week. I don't think we plan on staying here that long =v)
I'm also fine waiting in case something worse develops and we need to use the Greater Restore for that.
Yes, Miana is essentially right. After 24 hours you make a Fort save to see if they are permanent or they go away. If you get a restoration before the 24 hour period when they are still "temporary", the material cost is less. If you wait until they turn permanent, the cost is much more. I don't remember the exact figures but honestly at your level it's a drop in the bucket I think.
The cost is 100 gp if performed within 24 hours, and 1000 gp after that, iirc.
Of course Lucian will cast the restoration spell!
