EF, what should I do about Lucian's Ring of Revelation? The UE errata that was released a few days ago added text saying that it can't be used with UMD. Should I resell it at full price, and buy something else?
I haven't had a chance to read the errata but since we are so close to the end of this campaign anyways, let's just ignore it for remainder of the game. Keeping using it as you have been.
Sorry I've been slow this week; most of you probably heard it in my other games but we were planting 6.5+ acres by hand one seed at a time on Wed-Thurs and that kind of wiped me out. We took the dogs hiking about 7-8 miles today but I'm trying to get caught up on all my games tonight. I'll update as soon as I can.

Thanks! It was decided quite a while ago, it just took longer to process than I expected. I think there's also going to be a special shout-out to the Flaxseed Lodge in a blog post eventually and the Flaxseed Lodge will become the "official" spot for PFS PbP on the Paizo forums. So that's kind of cool!

Sorry for the slow posting. In engineering, I am finding that getting ready for a business trip is often more work than the business trip itself, which has kind of been my week.

I'm very excited too! Lucian has indeed just reached level 8 spells. I've picked euphoric tranquility, a great touch spell with no initial save (although it's mind-affecting) that basically allows me to put one creature out of combat. The beauty of it being the "no save" part of course, at least until we start pounding on the aforementioned target. My recommendation is that when I cast that on a target, we switch to all the other targets and slay them, and keep the "euphorized" creature for the end (it only gets a save against the spell if we attack it directly).
As for the loot, Lucian would love the Sihedron Ring, if no one else wants it. I'll also take the scroll of Mass Heal.
PS: Are we resting now or are there more places to explore in Xin-Shalast proper, before ascending to the Mhar massif?
There aren't any more places below to explore. You can "rest" in the sense that when you level up, I generally just tell everyone to reset everything as if they had rested. It just makes things easier.

As a side note, Lucian will now cast moment of prescience every morning after rest in addition to the shield other on Rissi.
I think it was the Lamia's that warned us about displaying the Sihedron's? Rissi's not super keen on wearing evil runes on her... but I supposed I can put on one of the rings.
An extended life bubble is 68 hours. We have 7 party members, including animals and such, and a full day's coverage would be three casting and two usages of the extend rod. So, Rissi can cover it.
Short of necklaces of adaptation for EVERYONE, I'm not sure there is another solution.

Hey all, I'm wondering if somebody is willing to substitute DM for my Dragon's Demand game. I'm going on my honeymoon in Alaska from the July 10th until the 1st'ish and I don't want the game to die due to lack of momentum. The party moves at a pretty slow pace, a PC posts every 1 to 2 days. Welcome back! Please note that you were given a cloak of minor displacement (permanent 20% miss chance should help that abysmally low AC), as well as a new belt (Str and Con +6). The cloak means your saves might drop a little, but the Sihedron Ring gives you +3 resistance bonus to saves, so the loss is not as bad as that. How does it sound?
I used to run the new scenarios as they came out but I've fallen behind as I was very busy this summer.

I work in a lab that studies corn genetics and we are in the middle of harvest so I have been putting in long hours out in the field which keeps me away from the computer and leaves me with no time or energy to update when I get home.
