Must be the shock of the sudden turn of events. Hoping on FF to save my roll ;)
I do have to ask though, was that guy just carrying manure around or is our fine city just so covered in it that it's easily at hand when needed?

Mawl Primal |

I couldn't hit with my normal attack but I am pretty sure I will hit it when it moves, as with difficult terrain he will have to move :) Surely I can't roll that bad again

As far as situation clarification goes I believe the guard have been ordered to run off, arrest or kill the crowd (no preference as to which). At the same time men who appear to be loyalists with armbands have uncloaked and drawn weapons with malicious intent in their eyes.

GM Dak |

Well specifically, Nox was ordered to run off, arrest or kill the crowd. Queen's Loyalists (which you may or may not be familiar with, they have become prevalent with Thrune's rise to power) are actively harassing the crowd, a group of which is working toward harassing you all (though doing a bit of a poor job with their init rolls :P). The rest can be seen in the most recent gameplay post.

Mawl Primal |

Ok, sorry about messing the map with my purple lines. I ended where the little rectangle is. I can't figure out how to erase the mistake, and I just kept making mistakes.

Mawl Primal |

I thought Mawl was just running back and forth in a tizzy :)
I had a spasm, then I tried to correct it, had another, then I tried to correct all of it...I give up

Sorix Seraxis |

As long as I'm not in the front, I'm good! It's nice to have sturdier bodies on all sides if possible, in case we ever get surprised from behind.

GM Dak |

Moved you all to the starter image if you want to arrange yourselves in some semblance of a marching order for future reference. Just from who knows who already, I placed you with my best guess. If that needs adjustment feel free to adjust.

Mawl Primal |

Mawl can be as far front as anyone else doesn't want to be. I agree that I would be near Sorix though as we have a commonality.
I have centrally placed Mawl so that we can form a new line. Feel free to place your icons in front of or behind, or beside? I am assuming we are facing to the left and "marching" moving that direction.

Saniel Jin Ka |

Sorry for my absence the past two days all. I am on vacation and am juggling prep for Origins as well as birthday festivities. I expect my posting will be spotty until after Origins, but I'm going to try and get posts in when I can and keep up with what is going on.
Dak, obviously if you need to push forward or bot me for anything please feel free. Keep the game rolling until this convention insanity is over :)

Sorix Seraxis |

Since we just got our first batch of loot, now's a good time to ask: How shall we handle loot? In my home game AP, if more than one person wants an item, we work it out between players. Anything unwanted is sold. All gp from selling items, and gp found, is split evenly. When a found item is no longer wanted by the person using it, the gp from sales is split among the party. One of the players is treasurer and keeps a google doc with all loot info.

Mawl Primal |

I would love to have the bracers for even this encounter in the livery if we could work something out. I'm not sure about other classes and their need and ability to use them.

Sorix Seraxis |

I like the method my home group uses that I posted above. It's about as fair to all as I can think of. If you have a loot sheet, great, let's use it.
EDIT: Mawl, yes, take the bracers.

Sorix Seraxis |

Wait, they won't stack with your scale mail. They're only good for characters that don't wear armor. Wizards and Monks.
That's why I thought I'd be the only one in the party to benefit from them.

GM Dak |

The sheet I have is more for keeping track of what loot there is before it is sold and who is claiming what until things get sold. Link. If whomever plans to keep up with loot wants to use this sheet I can add it to the top section with the other links for easy access.

Sorix Seraxis |

Would anyone like to volunteer to be in charge of the loot sheet? I would except I'm fairly spreadsheet-illiterate. Or if someone wants to explain it to me like I'm 5, I'll do it :)

Mawl Primal |

I don't mind but Dak you would have to give me the value of everything. Saniel knows this stuff as does Nils, so either one of them could do it also.
So my armor won't stack with the bracers :( That's the type of stuff I don't know either. So we should just sell them also?
Dak, I think there are one too many columns for names. I like having a 'party' column to buy common use stuff, but we only have five of us, right?

GM Dak |

I just look the values up in Hero Labs :P, also yeah the bracers give an armor bonus so if you already have armor that grants an armor bonus and bonuses do not stack. For the columns, I can adjust, it was like that from our previously larger party in our other game.

Mawl Primal |

Ok Sorix, I can look stuff up in Hero Labs, not as well as Dak, but I can handle it. If you want me to handle the ss. I'm ok with whichever way we want to handle people wanting items. The way I understand it your way is:
One person takes what comes up if they want it, then if they sell it later on they split the money with the party.
The way we handled it was the sales value was subtracted from that person's share.
We need to decide that.
Secondly, you didn't mention anything about common group items such as healing potions, and things that benefit the entire group. Since we typically each probably have one or two of these to start but then if we need to use more later on (we generally purchase a wand) we make a split portion for the "group" and spend that money on things that benefit all. Obviously if it gets too large, then we can split it. Let's all chime in on how we want to handle it.

Sorix Seraxis |

Sounds like both methods have the same net result, whether the GP of a sold found item is split with the group, or the value is subtracted from the share. Your way seems simpler. Let's do that (subtract value of sold item from that person's share).
My experience with common group items (wands, essentially) have always been an informal, "we should all pitch in on a healing wand, yeah?" thing. I'm okay with your method of having a formal "group" share for those purchases.
Short answer: I think your way sounds great.

Horillo |

I don't have time to do the loot sheet, as I just started GMing a RL group for Mummy's Mask and GM Starfinder at a weekly games club.
I'm happy with whatever is decided with the loot, provided it fair and is best for the party. So happy with Mawl's and Sorix's ideas.
Thought I'd let you know what I'm doing, so you can bot if required, I don't want to hold the game up.
Just as a run down on my RL gaming schedule...
Monday night is Pathfinder Society group.
Wednesday night Starfinder GM at gaming club
Thursday night bi weekly(ish) GM Mummy's Mask.
I hope to be posting during the day UK time from work or before work.
Weekends tend to be family, so posting can be more spotty.
22nd-24th weekend away gaming, don't know if I will have much opportunity to post.

Sorix Seraxis |

My home group just started book 5 of Mummy’s Mask. It’s been really fun. We play on Thursday nights US Mountain time zone. And I play PFS locally on Wednesday nights.
I can post in the day while working though.
I’ll be on a cruise July 8 - 15 and I’m not sure what kind of access I’ll have. As it approaches we can discuss botting options.

Mawl Primal |

Ok, I have some sketchy time coming up. I will be out of the country June 23rd-30th. Internet is expensive and spotty but I hope to still post every day. And I will keep track of the stuff on the spreadsheet. There is a spot for everyone in the group to put an X if they agree to what others have taken or not. So if after you look at the sheet, Dak's link, put an X in the approval column under your name.
In future if you wish to claim something, put a mark in the column under your name and usually there won't be any discussion, unless everyone wants it. We usually have already talked about it.
If ever any questions--speak up, nobody wants to get hurt.

Horillo |

I think we should keep the Silver dagger, Horillo will have it if no-one else wants it. But normally I'd want either the front-line or rogue to have it.

Nils the Ashen |

Weighing in late but basically I'm in agreement with the loot discussion. I'm pretty laid back with loot and would much rather see it get used than sold if it makes sense.
As far as the silver dagger we should definitely hold onto it somewhere as I'm sure we'll be fighting devilish things frequently.
Schedule wise I'll be on vacation June 21st to the 30th but should have internet access so posting might be a bit slower but should continue (probably more of a morning/evening schedule).
