Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter ...

There's an awesome spell in Ultimate Magic - Mad Monkeys! It summons a monkey swarm that obeys the caster's commands and can even attempt to disarm enemies.

Scarab Sages

nekkid monkey summoning?!?

There's a really sick banana joke in there somewhere.

Scarab Sages

All right, time to go and transfer some mead from the primary to a carboy.

Maybe I'll even drink some other mead.

Scarab Sages

Before I go - almost forgot. Went to a BBQ place tonight. I got one of the combo plates - some chicken, some turkey, and two sides.

As a bonus, my boy wouldn't eat any of his delicious ham. So I scarfed that down as well.

Thanks to Taig again for the Frightful Folio. My group just did their first Rushlight Tournament in Kingmaker, and the Folio's monsters made a lot of appearances at one of the events, a monster-battling competition.

Silver Crusade

Monkeys, you say?

Probably not for my Ravenloft game, but for the Victorian setting... hmm...

Well, the monkey's in the swarm mini all seem to have red eyes. Vampire Monkey Swarm?

Crazy4catnip and I used to do a lot of homebrewing when we lived in Jersey, but we haven't had the right kind of temperature-controlled space since we moved to Cali. Still got some of the mead left, though.

Went and saw The Fifth Estate today.

Slightly bummed that the closest thing to a good Western-series on Swedish TV since Deadwood is Defiance.

And yes, that includes Hell on Wheels.

but hell on wheels has colm meany (sp) and common and is awesomely realistic- loved it when they went to five points!

Yeah, but the rest of the cast is a bit anemic.

(And okay, mostly I'm being unfair and going "where's Al Swearangen, you c£@%€&%$ing scribble-f&~$s?!" [you have to use at least two swears every time you mention that character, it's the law]).

Edited for manual swear-filtering.

And daaaaang... that wasn't caught by the swear-filter... Erm... oops.

I know deadwood was amazing, but there's more to westerns than al swearengen.

Good morning to all my wonderful FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! It was cloudy skies and rain yesterday and last night, but it looks like sunshinyness today!!!

Scarab Sages

Transferred my mead from the primary to secondary last night. So far it's respectable 11.8%.

Scarab Sages

Also drank some mead. So there's that...

Scarab Sages

F$@*ing Bubble Guppys. I hate this show.

Scarab Sages

Did you ever get the feeling you were being watched? That the eyes of strange things were upon you....?

I said I was unfair, didn't I? ;)

Fawful is pleased by the ideas of this Gorillagator. He will be the delighting for making of the thrashing of enemies into the delicious apple cobbler of defeat alongside proud Midbus. They will have so much fury together!

Scarab Sages

All right! Phone needs some charge time. Later folks.

Heading out for the day. This is a MAJOR gaming weekend as I have Kingmaker today, and a one-shot game tomorrow in manhattan with not a few people from the messageboards(including one person from this very thread! Who could it be....). I've got some roleplaying type stuff ready for today that I think at least two of my players will appreciate, and I've got to read up on the adventure for tomorrow, which will be a society adventure turned into a one-shot. Really looking forward to this. Nervous a bit, but trying to turn nerves into energy.

I like Hell on Wheels so far but some of the characters were getting pretty flat near the end of the season.

Don't take it personal-like, mate. I mean, look just how MUCH of you there is.

*Yawn* Good night...

Good night John-Boy,...

(Sheesh. Not showing my age or anything, am I?) ;P

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm not going to try to catch up on 600+ posts.

My son in law's Mom has mercifully passed away.

Thank you all for all the good thoughts and prayers.

Take care.

My condolences BT. My uncle just passed this past week as well. It was not unexpected, but it was still a blow, and brought up emotions tied to other recent things. I hope your daughter and son-in-law are doing ok.

Morning, all.

Pathfinder game tonight with FHDM! I have a delightfully disruptive PC to bring to the table...

Now I have to get some baking done. I don't show up to games emptyhanded.

Positive waves to both of you, BT and Patrick. One of my fraternity brothers is also dealing with a loss this morning - a fellow law enforcement officer he works with.

Scarab Sages

And my poor niece - she's got a relapse of the flu AND strep throat. My brother and sister-in-law took her to the urgent care last night while we watched their other two. It was an interesting 2 hours.

I used to always bring a bag of Doritos to my games. My buddy called them "Devil Chips" because he could rarely overcome the temptation to eat a bunch of them.

My kid was running around in his superman PJs yelling "nana nana batman!"

I had to correct him. Now he's running around yelling "up, up and away!".

Still, if this is the worst the Houston winter has to offer us, then I'll be a happy zombie!
