Mmm. I probably could catch up with some work, but eh. Let them run! They didn't really see me after all.

Aparctias ponders on catching up to the thugs but decides to tend to the dwarves first. He disperses the fog with a wave of his fan and walks back into the stable, ushering the dwarves outside and back to the ship despite any interest they may have in seeing the priestess's corpse.


The dwarves are more than happy to high-tail it out of here, and there are no more surprises as the party hefts the heavy wooden bar blocking their passage through the main gate. There are some useless items on Holy Ahendile's body that are taken as payment for the effort, and soon enough the party moves as fast as the weakened ex-captives can manage back down to the docks.

Upon returning to the Abacus docked on the Glass River with the dwarven envoys in tow, the captain gets his sailors on the task of sailing back upriver with all speed to put Razmiran behind you as quickly as possible. Metella and Amauhak greet their companions with joy and hugs all around, and within a few days after some rest and decent food Rakuska, Pechas, and Holfist are well on the road to recovery. The rest of the journey is thankfully uneventful, and those who wish passage to the north to Mendev are more than welcome to take it...

In time, a missive from Ambrus Valsin arrives thanking you for your efforts in Razmiran. He congratulates you on a job well done, but warns that you have no doubt earned the Society a dangerous foe, for Razmiran does not forget a slight. However, he believes you have done a good job at deterring the priests from further investigation at this point, but reminds you to keep alert should the problem resurface in the future.

Wow. She's a hard woman. Maybe I shouldn't tease her so...

Ryskovich turns away as Imperia gives the priestess her version of justice. I cannot blame Imperia, not like the priestess didn't try to do the same to us. Pity though, bloodshed has never been pleasant to me, regardless of the circumstances. Oh well, best get going before others come to 'visit'.

With that final thougt he will wipe his blade off, gather himself and his belongings and look to those of his party whose strength had been zapped and ask them if the need any help. Once back on the boat and Razmir out of sight he will take a swig of water or stronger if available and look forward to a hit shower when back home.
