We start in the middle of the swallowtail festival in sand point. There were welcoming speeches, a speech by Mrs. Deverin the mayor, some acrobatics and a comedy routine from the owner of the theater (Along with a reminder to see the latest play), a sermon from father Zanthus, various business owners (Though one was absent, the owner of the glassworks Lonjiku Kaijitsu), ending with a buzz kill speech from the Sheriff reminding people to be careful at the bonfire tonight) and the fun and games was underway, followed by the releasing of the butterflies and lunch. As the sun begins to set it is time for the consecration.
A sharp retort, like the crack of distant thunder, slices through the excited crowd as the sun’s setting rays paint the western sky. A stray dog that has crawled under a nearby wagon to sleep starts awake, and the buzz of two dozen conversations quickly hushes as all heads turn toward the central podium, where a beaming Father Zantus has taken the stage. He clears his throat, takes a breath to speak, and suddenly a woman’s scream slices through the air. A few moments later, another scream rises, then another. Beyond them, a sudden surge of strange new voices rises— high-pitched, tittering shrieks that sound not quite human. The crowd parts and something low to the ground races by, giggling with disturbing glee as the stray dog gives a pained yelp and then collapses with a gurgle, its throat cut open from ear to ear. As blood pools around its head, the raucous sound of a strange song begins chanted from shrill, scratchy voices.

Roll initiative everyone
Corrin Whisperwind |
Everything about the festival was all he had imagined it would be and then more. Why he recieved barely any second glances as he and his elk companion made their way through the streets. It was his third visit to this small quaint place however perhaps they were getting used to him occasionally showing up selling his hides.
He ran his hand through his dyed green hair chuckling as both himself and Dewdrop startled at the sound of the thunder...especially since there didnt appear to be any appropriate clouds for that sort of weather... He realized it was magic effect no doubt to catch everyone's attention for some big announcement.
Then he heard the horrible sound of a multitude of goblin voices crying out and he knew the day had just taken a down turn.
Perception dc 12: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
"GOBLINS! THERE ON THE WAGON!"
He pointed out at them.
Yeda |
Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Yeda looks over in the direction Corrin pointed. She immediately sees the goblins and a scowl grows across her face as she unconsciously grits her teeth. Within a moment she's drawn her greatsword off her back.
Sazzat Tamm |
Tamm pulls his bow off his back, puts an arrow to string and launches a shot at the goblins on the wagon that the green haired woman warned the crowd about.
shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Corrin Whisperwind |
He called out in Elvish pointing at the three goblins before moving torwards them. As he neared he threw/stabbed his spear at the closest goblin.
spear attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Moving torwards the goblins, if i can get in melee use the rolls above, if they are within 30 feet Corrin will throw his spear at the closest one, add an addition 1 point of damage for point blank shot.
The druids Elk charged forth horns lowered to skewer on of the goblins with its horns.
Dewdrop has a movement speed of 50 ft, if he can get in range then he will attack, I am assuming with the crowds that charging isnt an option DM Greaek would you prefer a seperate alias for Dewdrop?
gore attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Grigore Miklos |
Grigore walks about with Zandu, his owl familiar, perched on his shoulder. He takes in the festivities with a smile on his face.
It takes someone pointing them out before he notices the goblins. Once he does he looks at Zandu for a moment. He has felt for a while that he was being led here, this attack seems to confirm so. In his mind anyway.
He moves within range and holds out his right hand, his fingers in an odd formation. He points at a goblin with his index and pinky fingers, "Sglaz!" and sends a curse its way.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Evil Eye hex. The goblin takes -2 ac for 1 round unless it fails a Will save DC14, then it's 7 rounds.
DM Greaek |
Two goblins will flank the elk
Dogslicer Gobbo #1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 211d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Dogslicer Gobbo #2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 91d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
And one will run at the halfling
Dogslicer Gobbo #3: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 151d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Oh shoot add +1 to hit (+3 to flank) and +1 to the damage of all the attacks that hit
Bringing us to Yeda's turn, and everyone else can post
Yeda |
Yeda tries to intercept the goblin that's rushing the halfling...
greatsword attack, furious focus: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
greatsword slashing damage, furious focus: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (6, 4) + 9 = 19
she mis-judges when it should pass through her reach and her greatsword catches a chunk of earth, leaving an unsightly divot in the group.
Sazzat Tamm |
"Lookout!" Tamm calls out and launches an arrow at the goblin Yeda just missed.
shortbow: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 4 = 17 (shooting into combat)
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
"This will get up close and personal before it is over..." he thinks and decides to change weapons.
Then he drops his bow and draws his shortsword.
Grigore Miklos |
1st Gobbo's will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14
The goblin Grigore cursed before seems to have shaken it off. He starts to hit it again when he notices the elk being surrounded. An elk fighting? Eh, I guess I've seen weirder.
He decides to help the big animal instead. He sends another curse at the one in front of the elk.
Gobbo will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
The goblin in front of Dewdrop has -2 ac for 7 rounds. I assumed that these are the regular goblins in the srd.
Corrin Whisperwind |
The elk made a terribly angry braying sound as the goblin cut into it with its dogslicer. Dewdrop glared at the small creature and lashed out with horn.
gore, flank: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
The elf hurried forward to his friend and borrowing the goblins idea he placed it between he and his elk splitting the creatures attention. He punched out torwards the foul creature with his shield his features contorted a little in anger that it had hurt his friend.
attack, shield bash: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 2 = 24
damage: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
confirmation: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 2 = 14
if a 14 confirms on the hexed goblin then add: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Please note that Corrin's AC is down by 1 since he used his shield to smack a goblin this round.
Sazzat Tamm |
Tamm circles the elk and goblin to a position where he flanks.
Then he stabs with his shortsword.
shortsword: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 = 11 (flank, sneak)
damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 1 + (6) = 12
Yeda |
Yeda wheels around behind the goblin stabbing at Grigore.
greatsword attack, furious focus, flank: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 = 21
greatsword slashing damage, furious focus: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (4, 6) + 9 = 19
Grigore is surprised to see the goblin in front of him suddenly fall in two pieces, replaced by a bloody greatsword. Though the northwoman hails from a savage tribe, she seems to act with deliberate focus... for now.
Grigore Miklos |
Grigore barely notices the greatsword go through the goblin before him. It stabbed me!
"That little bugger stabbed me!" Grigore pulls his own dagger to respond in kind but finally realizes that it's dead. "Thanks," he says to the savage woman in front of him.
Grigore casts a spell to stop the bleeding.
Cure Light: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Corrin Whisperwind |
crud sorry for holding things up folks, whether affected my shitty satalite internets.
He yelped as the goblins quick actions stabbed him deep in the thigh. Withdrawing another spear he set his shield in front of him and tried to return the favor while Dewdrop spun over leading with his horns.
spear, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 2 = 17
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Dewdrop gore, flank: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 2 = 15
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Grigore Miklos |
After healing himself up Grigore looks around and finds that one goblin remains. There are still plenty of warriors around to finish it off so he forgoes using his knife and does what he does best.
Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13
On the off chance the goblin lives to see another round its ac is 2 lower for the next seven.
Yeda |
Yeda turns towards the last remaining goblin quickly slashes at it without setting her feet.
greatsword attack, furious focus, flank: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 +2 if flanking
Clearly she should have taken her time with it.
Corrin Whisperwind |
With the initial terror from the goblins over her case a simple spell on some berries in his pouch.
goodberries: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7
He then holds out three of them to his elk companion to munch on.
Yeda |
Yeda looks around to see if there are other groups of goblins terrorizing townsfolk.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
DM Greaek |
There are goblins all around creating chaos all over the place, the town guard and a few other people fighting off goblins in the distance. 3 normal gobllins and a goblin singing horribly run by, and see you moving towards you.
Corrin: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Grigore: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Sazzat: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Yeda: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Zokash: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Goblins: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
DM Greaek |
The singer says "HEY BIG ONE, WHY DID THE GOBLIN CROSS THE ROAD, TO RANSACK YOUR CITY" dc 12 will against hideous laughter
Two goblins flank the elk

And one attacks Zokash
