I have a healing belt. Not sure whether or not I've used it though. And two potions, CMW and CSW. Hopefully the General will be distracted enough killing me to let you save him! :)

Scout 8

Ta-da.

Hey West, did we fast forward through introductions there?

If we did, can I roll my hit points here?

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

We sure did, Cona - sorry about that! Feel free to backtrack a bit and introduce yourself prior to your current encounter - just separate the two timelines a bit if you want. Others can do the same if you want to RP back and forth a little.

You can certainly roll your HP in this Discussion tab. Let me know if you need help! The usual rules, full hit points at 1st level, roll for the other levels and if you roll less than 1/2 your hit die, take the 1/2 instead. :)

Scout 8

hit points: 7d8 ⇒ (7, 5, 2, 7, 2, 1, 4) = 28

Scout 8

So that'll give me 59 hit points.

I'm fine to just skip it to avoid confusion for me if no-one else, unless someone really wants to.

I may have missed it, but do we have our gear or as former prisoners do we have none?

Sorry, haven't done PbP for about a year!

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

No worries at all, Cona! We'll just figure you're the strong silent type. :) You don't have your gear at the moment (you can have the shortsword from the dead gladiator you and Morgrym knew as 'Red'), but rest assured it's around here somewhere...

While we are on the subject of gear here, GM West can you verify that Reonnyn is still carrying the wands of CLW and Lesser Vigor? The Campaign tab shows otherwise. I am not sure if we picked up extra wands or not.

Verdan started with 2 wands of CLW himself

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Yes, you have them Reonnyn. I think Glorb did, but I've passed them on to you since I'm going to write out Glorb soon. I think Verdan's CLW wands were his personal ones.

Yes they are, but please use them if needed.

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

Morgrym will have his weapon, his ring, and his gauntlets all on then

Scout 8

Just before I post, a couple of questions.

Can I continue to collect my items as the fight goes on?
Any chance I already had my weapon in hand as the fight started?

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Thanks Morgrym.

Cona, yes (move action to grab it, a standard action to 'don' it though - which will probably grant an AoO if the outsider is within reach of you) and yes - I'll allow that you grabbed something (your weapon, or something you wanted to have in a fight) once the skull started screaming and spinning around. :)

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

I'm sorry folks, it's very unlikely I'll be able to post until after New Year's. I've had some personal stuff happening over the past week or so, and I'm traveling starting tomorrow - oh yeah, and then it's Christmas and New Years!

Happy Holidays everyone, we'll get back on track after January 1st 2020!

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Yeesh, I'm still recovering after the slow pace during the holiday season coupled with a very busy month for me in January at work (tax office and I do all the 1099s and W2s that I have about three weeks to crank out with a deadline of January 31st). It's thrown my gaming schedule off badly. I'm hoping to get back to a quick posting pace in the next couple weeks or so, after a short trip I'm taking late next week.

I promise a post by the end of this weekend for sure!

Just asking, how close are we to leveling up?

I will be calculating XP for all of the encounters thus far - hopefully sometime this weekend. I'll keep you posted!

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

I'll put up the adventure post tomorrow evening if I can get to it, but I did want to let you all know the XP calculations:

Reonnyn, Verdan and Morrow each gained a total of 8,600XP for their combats and efforts in clearing out the War Tower of The General's influence. Each of you have gained 9th level. Please use the character sheet links in my posts (which will take you to my d20 World of Greyhawk board, where I store your 'official' character sheets) and post your level up information there as a reply if you can. You will see the breakdown of your XP total at the very bottom of your character sheet (the 'main' sheet, not beneath the reply posts.) If you don't want to create an account (and quite frankly, I wouldn't blame you - that board sucks nowadays, but I like their formatting for characters sheets over the Paizo board), just give me your level-up information in this Discussion tab and I'll updated your character sheets accordingly.

Zeux, you gained 4,600XP and are pretty close to 9th level. Cona & Morgrym, you each gained 2,000XP. Obviously the amount of combat you've all seen differs greatly, and so the total XP you've all gained so far was influenced by that. I haven't gotten around yet to making the 'official' character sheets for you three, so the breakdown is noted in the Character Notes in the Campaign tab if you want to take a look.

Male halfling Swashbuckler 4/Warlock 7 Init: +3 | AC: 20 / FF: 17 / Touch 14 [+4 vs giants] | Fort: +8 / Ref: +10 / Will: +9 [+2 vs fear] | Speed: 30' | DR 2/cold iron | Attacks: +2 rapier +15/+10 to hit (1d4+3 damage); Eldritch Blast +14 to hit ranged touch (4d6+2 damage, range 250', x2)

GM West: I will post my changes here if that is OK with you. Let me know if you have any questions.

REONNYN Level UP:

Warlock: Level 4 to Level 5.

* +1d6 HP 1d6 ⇒ 4
* No change to BAB or saves.
* +1d6 to Eldritch Blast damage total.
*Skills:
Hide +1
Knowledge (Planes) +1
Spot +1
Use Magic Device +1
*Feat (9th): Ranged Touch Spell Specialization:
Benefit: Damage-dealing spells that require a ranged touch attack roll gain a +2 bonus on the damage dealt. This extra damage applies only to the first successful attack of spells that allow multiple touch attacks. Only spells that deal hit point damage can be affected by this feat.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

By the way folks, for a magic item that more than one player would like, I'd probably suggest a roll of, since there is a handy dice roller on this forum. Of course, if talking it out handles the situation that's the best plan! But a roll off works as a good backup plan. I'd suggest a d20 roll, highest roll takes the prize.

M Human Cleric 6 / Radiant servant of Pelor 4 HP: 61 / 61 AC: 22 (10 Touch, 22 Flat-Footed)(Armor +8, Shield +3) Init +0 Fort: +12 Ref: +3 Will: +14 Stalwart Pact

Verdan will not put a claim on the stone. He was not part of the party from the start and will let another take it.

M Human Duskblade 7/Abjurant Champion 4 | HP: 84/84 | Add 1 for Haste ** AC:20/T:13 /FF:16 | Init:+1, MAB:+14/+9/+4 Power Attack | W:+8,R:+4,F:+8 | Spellslots:6/6-9/9-8/8-4/5 | Arcane Attunement: 5/5 | Quick Cast:1 | Arcane Boost | Skills: Climb+16,Jump+12,Spellcraft+16,Swim+10 | Corner Perch/Leaping Climber/Speedy Ascent/Quick Swimmer

I won't dispute any of the listed claims.
And I'll try to get my level up info posted this weekend. Gotta look it over and try to remember what I was thinking for this character....
I think that Magical +1 greatsword can be sold. I usually use the flaming longsword (and shield) anyway.

Male halfling Swashbuckler 4/Warlock 7 Init: +3 | AC: 20 / FF: 17 / Touch 14 [+4 vs giants] | Fort: +8 / Ref: +10 / Will: +9 [+2 vs fear] | Speed: 30' | DR 2/cold iron | Attacks: +2 rapier +15/+10 to hit (1d4+3 damage); Eldritch Blast +14 to hit ranged touch (4d6+2 damage, range 250', x2)

Okay then, if no one else will claim the Stone of Good Luck Reonnyn will ask for it.

Don't Halflings have a natural +1 luck bonus anyway? Would that stack?

Actually it is a Racial bonus, so I would think they DO stack. Still I'll let GM West make that call here.

M Human Duskblade 7/Abjurant Champion 4 | HP: 84/84 | Add 1 for Haste ** AC:20/T:13 /FF:16 | Init:+1, MAB:+14/+9/+4 Power Attack | W:+8,R:+4,F:+8 | Spellslots:6/6-9/9-8/8-4/5 | Arcane Attunement: 5/5 | Quick Cast:1 | Arcane Boost | Skills: Climb+16,Jump+12,Spellcraft+16,Swim+10 | Corner Perch/Leaping Climber/Speedy Ascent/Quick Swimmer

Great! That should stack.
West, I posted the level up on Crap-a-Talk as requested. Had some spare time while waiting for a meeting.... :)

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Yep, although it's called Halfling Luck, the +1 is a 'racial bonus', so the Luckstone would stack as a 'luck bonus'. :)

M Human Cleric 6 / Radiant servant of Pelor 4 HP: 61 / 61 AC: 22 (10 Touch, 22 Flat-Footed)(Armor +8, Shield +3) Init +0 Fort: +12 Ref: +3 Will: +14 Stalwart Pact

+1 BAB
+1 Fort save
+1 Will save
HP gain: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
+4 skill points (know: arcana, religion, and planes, and heal)
+1 2nd level spell
+1 5th level spell + Domain spell

So sale of the full plate (1500 gp) is 750 gp
What did we make on coins? I forgot to ask if anyone was tracking the loot.
And will we have time to do shopping here in Grayhawk. If so any magic shops around? Not sure what I want to purchase, all depends on the shares of loot.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Loot tracking is in the Campaign Info tab. Plenty of time do shopping, and there are magic shops if you want to seek them out and RP it briefly or I can just post what you find if you'll tell me what you're looking for.

M Human Cleric 6 / Radiant servant of Pelor 4 HP: 61 / 61 AC: 22 (10 Touch, 22 Flat-Footed)(Armor +8, Shield +3) Init +0 Fort: +12 Ref: +3 Will: +14 Stalwart Pact

So as a very rough estimate it come to about 7000 gp. or a little over 1000 gp each if everything that is not being claimed is sold. Just trying to figure out how much to give the church.

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

I'm trying to figure out how much to give the shopping trip and bar maids

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

My apologies for the delay in posting folks, my busy work schedule and getting ready for a move is hammering my creative mind into mush. I'll post when I can, but probably for the next four weeks or so I'm going to be a bit unreliable in that area. Bear with me and I'll get back into the swing of things after the April 15th deadline for sure and hopefully before then, once I'm settled into my new place. Thanks for understanding!!

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

OK, decided to do this sooner than later to give you all a final tally of the gold you can spend, based on the loot you gained, what I think you're selling, and splitting the proceeds 7 ways (including Glorb!)

Masterwork Full Plate Armor (sold for 825gp)
Magical +1 Greatsword (sold for 1175gp)
Magical +1 Composite [+2 STR] Shortbow of Distance (sold for 4300gp)
Magical +1 Handaxe (sold for 1153gp)
Magical Cloak of Resistance +1 (sold for 500gp)
Golden Bowl (25gp value)
Ceremonial Dagger (5gp value)
Aquamarine gem (150gp value
Silver ring (20gp value)
4 pouches of diamond dust (250gp each)
2 rubies (300gp each) [0.0 lb]
2 matching ruby rings (150gp each) [0.0 lb]
91pp, 550gp, 269sp, 87cp

That's a total of 11,540gp, 7sp and 7cp.

Divided evenly by 7, that's 1648.681429 each. Let's just round that up to 1,650gp for each of you. Spend away! And if there's anything on this list you want to keep, be sure to let me know quickly! :)

M Human Duskblade 7/Abjurant Champion 4 | HP: 84/84 | Add 1 for Haste ** AC:20/T:13 /FF:16 | Init:+1, MAB:+14/+9/+4 Power Attack | W:+8,R:+4,F:+8 | Spellslots:6/6-9/9-8/8-4/5 | Arcane Attunement: 5/5 | Quick Cast:1 | Arcane Boost | Skills: Climb+16,Jump+12,Spellcraft+16,Swim+10 | Corner Perch/Leaping Climber/Speedy Ascent/Quick Swimmer

Wand of Lesser Vigor? I can't use it, but I'm fairly certain I could get someone to use it on me when I need it, after a combat!

Scout 8

I don't think there's anything I can get for that money that would benefit on top of what I already have.

As I've literally just joined, will leave it to the rest to choose future plans.

M Human Cleric 6 / Radiant servant of Pelor 4 HP: 61 / 61 AC: 22 (10 Touch, 22 Flat-Footed)(Armor +8, Shield +3) Init +0 Fort: +12 Ref: +3 Will: +14 Stalwart Pact

Verdan is happy to use the wand of Lesser Vigor on you, Morrow ;o)

So if everything is sold, He will take 1000gp for himself and the 450GP he will send to the church of Pelor and the last 200Gp he will give to Altamaic to help pay for his care at the the church of Boccob.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

By the way folks, I've decided to do away with the whole Hide/Move Silently dichotomy that plagues 3.5 rules. Instead I will max out your ranks in Hide (if you have spent ranks in both of those skills) and use only that when you're trying to be stealthy. If you have leftover ranks, you can spend them as you please.

I'll be working on character sheets with updates over the next week or two. I'll let you know if/when I run across this, but feel free to be proactive and let me know how you want to spend those 'extra' ranks sooner if you know you'll have them!

M Human Duskblade 7/Abjurant Champion 4 | HP: 84/84 | Add 1 for Haste ** AC:20/T:13 /FF:16 | Init:+1, MAB:+14/+9/+4 Power Attack | W:+8,R:+4,F:+8 | Spellslots:6/6-9/9-8/8-4/5 | Arcane Attunement: 5/5 | Quick Cast:1 | Arcane Boost | Skills: Climb+16,Jump+12,Spellcraft+16,Swim+10 | Corner Perch/Leaping Climber/Speedy Ascent/Quick Swimmer

Don't waste any time checking my sheet. I have no ranks in hide or move silent....

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Morrow's HP Roll: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Yuck! Well, you get the minimum half of '5' anyway!

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Morrow, I have you spending 750gp for a Wand of Lesser Vigor, correct?

Scout 8

I think I have closed to max ranks in hide, will need to doublecheck my sheet. I'll wait till you've put them in your format though, West.

I know this might sound a little odd. I had a few characters go up a level and I can not remember if we leveled in this game. Is everyone still at 8 or should have I gone to 9?

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

Sorry for delay folks, between the craziness out there in the world and work I've had a bit of trouble getting myself geared up to post. Hoping to do so very soon, but in the meantime your patience is appreciated. :)

Verdan, you just gained Level 9 along with several others! I've actually already got your character sheet updated (along with Morrow, I'm still working on the rest!) Here is the link, if you want to take a look. Verdan

I do have the +1 full plate now and I will have him go up a level in Radiant servant of Pelor instead of Cleric. so I can update my sheet by Wednesday night.

Male Human (Aren't we all? Folks need to remember that!) Epic Level GM (35+ years!)

I thought you had new armor, but couldn't figure out where I'd made the note! Thanks, I'll make that update as well on my own copy.

Players are certainly welcome to have their own character sheets here on Paizo, but I like the format of the one on the 'old' board I used to use - which is where the link leads you.

M Human Cleric 6 / Radiant servant of Pelor 4 HP: 61 / 61 AC: 22 (10 Touch, 22 Flat-Footed)(Armor +8, Shield +3) Init +0 Fort: +12 Ref: +3 Will: +14 Stalwart Pact

Verdan will purchase another pearl of power for the 1000 gp that he was keeping. So for this adventure he has gained a new set of armor and a pearl. Plus some new friends.

I copied the character sheet over so it's easier for you to read. I have re-set my undead turn attempts since we had a full rest. and I will add my 5th level spells.
