If anyone is interested, I'm kinda doing a fun little one-off.
Let's get this craziness started.

Sorry for the inactivity, I'm just...not sure what to do next? Where to go?
I do want to continue with this, but I'm pretty stuck here, to be honest. Probably should've admitted that earlier.
Even if I continue looking over this place, I'm going to need to move on at some point. I just don't have much ideas for a thread to follow other than the embassy, and I don't think it's a good idea to head back there yet.
...I swear, I need to think more carefully on what orders I get. The idea's meant to be 'strange, confusing and particular', not 'wildly derailing reckless vandalism'.

Ah. Yes, that would probably be a good idea now, wouldn't it?
Can I get a reminder where you all are? I don't know if you're anywhere nearby/that I could find easily.

If Retzack can move the soul box short distances, then I think we should get a cart and some long chain. Retzack can put it in the cart, and we can pull the chain from outside the soul drain aura. We will just have to clear the way of civilians.
But where should we take it?

            End of Session!
New and important?: Yes, we learned much about the soul boxes and their wielders.
Overcome a notable monster or enemy?: I don't think so. We took out some grunts.
Did we loot a memorable treasure?: I can't think of one.
Alignment: Endanger self to protect someone weaker. I feel like I accomplished this, but can't point to a specific. I'll pass on XP.
Bonds: I think I still haven't created bonds.
So +1 xp for me. Enough to hit level 2.
I'll have to think about what I want to take for leveling.

DM Sbodd - I don't see your test post in Gameplay, but I do see Burke's. Can you please check again to see if it's there?
You may have been fooled into thinking that you posted, because when I try to post, the post appears, but the "editing window" stays there as if I had merely done a Preview.
I'm going to contact Paizo administrators about this...

I believe DM Sbodd just had a new baby, so we should be a bit patient. I think it will come back.

Apologies for the extended silence, and this: I don't think I'm going to have time to run this anytime soon, and it'd be hard to come back from this long hiatus anyway. Thanks for playing! Again, I'm really sorry.
If y'all have any questions about what was really going on, feel free to ask here, or via PM.

Thanks for running this Sbodd! I enjoyed seeing how DW can be run without combat (except near the end there). I'd also love a brief synopsis of what the hell was going on with that dead body.

Nilasa had broken in to try and steal some documents related to smuggling. She was caught by the guy you were chasing (the one with the burnt-oil smell); she tried to escape out the window, but he wounded her, then shot her just in time to interrupt her flight magic (which is how she wound up on the fence).
The embassy tried to hide the wound with healing magic, since the guy you were chasing leaves distinctive wounds contaminated with witchoil (the stuff in the smugglers' vials).
Nilasa had fey pepper on her because she'd drugged the embassy staff with it, trying to make sure she wouldn't be caught during her break in; she then drank an invisibility potion and snuck upstairs.
The doctor was a random passerby who moved to help her when she fell; she pushed what she'd stolen into his hands and he ran.
I think that covers most of it.
