Kohi begins deliberating. "Neither of these alternatives holds merit to me. Tahonikepsu, you've been a sage for a long time, and yet the order hasn't changed until just now. How can you speak of bringing it into the future? Amenopheus, the past of the sages is what brought it to this point, with two living and one...split. Of the two, I choose Amenopheus, since there is more hope of change simply due to his mortality. Someone else may be able to take the sages into a new era, but not either of you." She looks at the two of them, eyes begging for forgiveness after he deliberation.

Amenopheus gives Kohi a beaming smile!

“I don’t know much about that...” Flyn says eyeing Koh sideways, “But it seems to me that you’re more likely to accomplish your goals together – or fail apart. Rebuild the Sages, then innovate. You get numbers, diversity, and give your order a damn better chance of not winking out in one fell swoop. Even time dragons can be killed, yeah?”

“I vote with Amenopheus.”

Somehow, the dragon raises an "eyebrow"

Desh realizes he must actually vote. He thinks about it as he regards the two sages, his face scrunched up in the pain of actual thought. Finally he shakes his head, "Life is change. Adapt or die. It's the way things are."

He nods to the Saphire sage, "Amenopheus."

Amenopheus winks at Desh

Garrett listens carefully to each argument for a moment, allowing his comrades to offer their opinions. "Tahonikepsu, if I may ask of you; what exactly is it that you plan to do with your proposed changes?"

"I have the same question. I prefer change, myself, but change for the better, not blindly changing things due to whimsy. Despite the reputation of elvish whimsy," he says with a smile.

Clearly Kay favors Tahonikepsu, but hasn't decided yet.

The dragon actually pauses for a moment, "I haven't yet made my plans."

Once the vote is done, I'll wrap up the thread and deactivate it.

So if we split the vote, do we get to see them fight to the death? Cause that could be epic. :D

I was worried we'd have to kill whichever one we didn't vote for. That could have been a challenge, but I still voted against the dragon.

Sadly no... But when I played this, I voted myself as a write in candidate. :-)

Garrett nods at the dragon's reply. "Well, in light of that proclamation, I must side with Amenopheus."

And with that, the dragon bows her head.

“No hard feelings, Tahonikepsu... You can rebuild the Sages, innovate, and even make allies among the nations here and with the Society. In fact, I know some folks that would be very interested to meet you...” The halfling continues his spiel, just as if he were talking to a rug merchant, instead of the ancient wyrm towering over him...
