Game Master Hmm

A new era is beginning for the Pathfinder Society, with new recruits and new factions all excited to build connections and embark on grand adventures. The PCs are among these recruits invited to attend a welcoming party where they can meet both the old guard as well as the up-and-coming leaders. But the party's not all talk; the PCs learn of four exciting escapades in Absalom, through which they can kick off their adventuring careers!

Knivel says to Jasper "F$&& it. I will go practice my singing. To think I almost missed my vocal lessons for this community distraction" he prepares to leave "If I make a singing role, you must promise to come to my show" he does his best to make Jasper promise before departing.

But with two leaders still present, the crowd grows increasingly agitated - they turn to stoke them some more, using rhetoric that talks about "outsiders" having "no stake" but wanting "a say" and other words that hint at opposition to attempts to disperse the gathered crowd peacefully...

Captain Kullan:

This scenario is a powderkeg waiting to accidentally ignite - a fight could easily break out any moment in the crowd or on the stage!

Having scoped out the situation, and finding it quite dire, Captain Kullan makes a command decision. He's not going to wait for this powder keg to go off with the wrong word or incidental and unintended act.

He passes Black Molly and Darwin and warns them that a fight could easily break out at any moment. Suggesting that they stay close to him, he circles around the back of the crowd to engage the only one here that should understand the concept of laws and rules (and who has a very dashing moustache, if he's being honest.)

"Sri Jurio, a word please. How can a convicted and petrified miscreant get another hearing if new evidence comes to light? How can they speak for themselves and confront their accusers in an appeal once frozen in time on your streets? I ask because new information has surfaced in the case of just one of these here. Under Absalom criminal laws, the accused should be allowed to address such evidence. We just need to free one - and only one - of them for such purpose. We've no wish to change your system or undermine your rules, but we need to speak to one of the petrified."

"Goblins? What are they doing here?" Captain Kullan mutters under his breath as the ragtag bunch of trouble-makers appears. He hustles across the front of the stage brandishing his shield and drawing his trident, only stopping abeam Jasper and Tiny.

"Be ready for anything, my friend," he advises the orc. He eyes up the opposition and isn't too worried about their chances. But the fleeing crowd could cause problems, and he checks back over his shoulder to see how that's going.

Also, can you please clarify the tactical situation. What effect on movement does the stage, the steps up to them, and the dashed boxed areas have if any? Is Black goblin pyro on the stage and thus elevated or have cover? If so, how did he get up there?

Yes, terrain and tactical situation is clear, except what is that long dark rectangle N of Red and W of Yellow? A buffet table? Can Tiny move into (or under) it?

Black Molly is not bolded but should be able to act now. 

Swarmed by the goblins, Captain Kullan calls for his squad to execute the tactic they drilled on earlier. "Pincer Attack! Tiny, Step away!" he calls out in his deep, booming command voice.

He stabs his trident at the goblin in the Paisley Pink scarf...

But focusing on getting Tiny to move means his attention is diverted, and he misses badly. He then raises his shield for all to see.

Pincer Attack Tactic ◆, Strike ◆, Raise Shield ◆ AC = 22

Pincer Attack ◆: You signal an aggressive formation designed to exploit enemies’ vulnerabilities. Signal all squadmates affected by your commander’s banner; each can Step as a free action. If any of your allies end this movement adjacent to an opponent, that opponent is off-guard to melee attacks from you and all other squadmates who responded to Pincer Attack until the start of your next turn. So, if Darwin uses his reaction to step out of flank and ends up next to Kullan, then Pink muscle and Black mage will be off guard.

Drilled Reactions: Your time spent training with your allies allows them to respond quickly and instinctively to your commands. Once per round, when you use a tactic, you can grant one ally of your choice benefiting from that tactic an extra reaction. This reaction has to be used for that tactic, and is lost if not used.

@Jasper/Tiny: I'm using this ability to grant Tiny a reaction. Normally Minions don't get them but the Minion trait says: "A minion has only 2 actions and 0 reactions per turn, though certain conditions (such as slowed or quickened) or abilities might give them a reaction that they can use." If Tiny Steps NW out of Flank, Jasper can also Step (using his own reaction) and any Goblin that either is adjacent to is off-guard to anyone who used the free Step (and to Cap'n Kullan, also.)

If Silverbeard is inside 30 feet of Kullan when this occurs, then he can benefit from this also, as eidolons are not Minions.

At the Captain's command, Jasper and Tiny step, "pinciring" one Pyro and one Muscle (Red and Yellow), easily dispatching them.

"Hell has fire?" one goblin asks "Hell has fire!" another answers - they all agree "Then let's kill the pig!"

Seeing the signal from Kullan, Darwin moves to re-form battle lines next to his captain. He nods. "Well-timed. I was nearly surrounded by enemies."

Darwin isn't quick enough to dodge out of the way of the first fire blast, but manages to evade the brunt of the second. His robes look singed and his face and hands are fiery red. Darwin staggers slightly before resting a hand on Kullan and righting himself.

Remembering the captain's command, he attacks the goblin within reach with multiple quick strikes. He turns to Kullan. "I can't stay here. I'll fall."

Then, he quickly moves to take cover behind the hedges and raises his shield.

Tiny has 44 hp per the required items in Jasper's header. GM's previous post says it was down 29, only taken 5 more, so simple math says it is still up.

As he steps towards the pyro-mage in the Orange scarf, Kullan again calls for the team to execute their drilled tactics. "Pincer Attack again. Tiny, Step Away!"

He stabs at the pyro, hoping Jasper's movement will help distract it.

Jasper move and attacked. Tiny just isn't going to do anything with the final action. I don't want him getting attacked. I think that solves the confusion?
