As you rip open the door you find a large room that was once two, but the wall between them has been partially torn down, and the broken door now serves as a makeshift altar. The candles and strange statues that decorate it all face the dark alcove beyond the broken wall. In front of the altar stand/kneel four Kobolds in subservient positions. They cry out in alarm as you enter the room and reach for their spears.

From you current position you can’t see into the room behind the altar. There is another intact door across the room.

When Dasiji steps into the room, he takes the situation in at a glance -- Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 -- and with lightning speed, draws a dart and throws it as hard as he can at the nearest kobold. Not that he knows what they are; but the last time they tried to introduce themselves to an inhabitant of the ruin, they got blinded and could've died. And the little reptilians don't exactly look like good neighbors.

FA: Draw dart w/Quick Draw.

Zedril, enacting his vengeful side, finishes off what Irijaya started, and Kobold 2 falls.

Dasiji has heard Quintus's story before, and is encouraged by remembering how the great beast was slain; the little reptilians in front of him are as nothing by comparison. The ranger steps up toward the nearest living kobold and sweeps his greatsword at it -- but doesn't even get close.

In the room behind the alter there stands a large status of some reptilian humanoid with the Kelish word ‘Fire’ inscribed on its chest. Behind the statue is a circular opening to a pit or well.

Two Kobold rush in to attack Dasiji and Zedril, while the Kobold on Kehl keeps after him.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4, miss.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4, miss.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3, miss.

The Skulk on the floor reaches his hands out in desperation, colors flying in a hypnotic pattern at Quintus. Color Spray, Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12, Quintus falls unconscious for 2d4 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4 rounds!

Zedril slays a Kobold with ruthless efficiency, but one rushes in to take his place. The Kobold on Dasiji comes in at him again.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5, miss.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3, miss.

The last Kobold in the doorway slings a rock at Irijaya.

Seeing Quintus go down, Kehl curses, dodges away from the Kobold attacking him, to stand over the unconcious man. He brandishes his daggers and prepares to attack anyone threatening the downed pathfinder.

The Skulk gets up and retreats to a defensive position next to the statue. He looks prepared to bolt if things go south.

Dasiji grinds his teeth in frustration and takes another swing at one of the pesky little pests; they seem fairly harmless, but they're keeping him from dealing with the weird guy with the katana.

...for 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 6) + 3 = 15 damage.

"Graaah!!" With a roar, Dasiji lops the head off one of the kobolds. Its body collapses to one side, blood spurting out of its open neck, while its upside-down face twists in confusion before relaxing in death.

Emboldened by his success, Dasiji swings hard at the other reptilian in front of him. However, the little guy is able to dodge the lumbering strike enough for it to glance off of his armor.
