As she approaches the sniper skulk, she shouts, You not going to get any luck with these skulks, they a bunch of murderous thieves.

Cursing to herself in frustration, Mira pushed up to the front of the group to see which of them were visible. Her gun had already cleared the holster at her hip, but she had not yet leveled it at anyone, trying to spot any of them to no avail.

Phineas decided that the best way to handle the skulk in front of him was with the business end of his sword. So he thrust it at the skulk.

Kul'Theraka paces the length of the tiny room, punching the small portals of glass periodically and working himself into a lather. He looks over at his team member, "Have you figured out how to pop these doors yet? I want to get out there and kill one before our rescue party takes them all out."

Utilizing scraps of material scavenged from the corners of their cell, Ibarra is fiddling with the lock. He glances over his shoulder at the half-orc.

"You try opening this damned lock with these." He shakes the bits and bobs he has in his hands. With a growl of frustration Ibarra returns to working at the lock, silently cursing his decision to venture out here alone.

With the others engaged with the hostiles, she could not shoot without running the risk of hitting one of them on accident, so she closed with the nearest one, wielding her light hammer, doing what she could to assist in the fight.

Another skulk goes down and the others retreat. Ibarra manages to get the door open.

He steps aside to let the bruiser of a half-orc through the door ahead of him.

It looks like things have quieted down, but how can you tell with those things? They were damned near invisible.

Ibarra cautiously follows Kul'Theraka out of the cell.

"Would you look at that, they all ran!" Kul'Theraka roars as he walks out the door.

He then begins searching each nook and cranny going out from the door,

Then he looks over at the others, "What are you guys doing here? We had this handled you know. Just got the drop on me with those stupid darts."

She places one foot onto the skulk before her, directly on the wound she made. With a spin of her scythe she swings the blade through the neck before raising the blood dripping blade up so the scythe was standing on the ground while holding it upright.

She looks about to see any skulks decide to return, before deciding to search the body.

Hearing the new comers, she stands up, Well I am here to find out why the Torch went out.

Ibarra raises and eyebrow at the... elf?'s... brutality.

Bloodthirsty, aren't we?

He clears is throat. "So did I and my muscly friend. These horrible little monsters jumped us and locked us up in there."

He jerks a thumb back over his shoulder to indicate the cell.

Falv will drag Kurgu over to the metal wall and puts him into a more comfortable sitting position. He over hears Kul say he got hit with a dart and seemed fine, so he figures the effect will wear off eventually. He moves over to the new comers. "Were you part of Khonnir's last team or know where he is at?"

His voice takes on a hard edge. "What happened to Khonnir?"


Ibarra and Kul find their eqipment tossed in a bin near the airlock door.

The skulks carry almost no gear since their gear doesn't blend like they do.

They only carry leather straps and daggers with black blades.

Kul'Theraka starts to pull his stuff out and buckle it on, "We got separated from Khonnir. Since you're here, I take it he didn't make it back. I thought you might have been a rescue party sent in for us. Embarrassing, that would have been."

Once he gets his gear back on, "As much as I'd like to end their miserable lives, I think it would be a waste of time to track down those human chameleons. I think we should try to get through the other door in the metal room."

You search the camp and indeed find a keycard with a black stripe on it. You use it on the airlock door and it opens revealing a small room.

The northern wall of this otherwise empty metal room is a tangle of what look to have once been strange cages of some sort. Tangled amid the metal ribs of these cages are ribs of a more organic nature—the ancient bones of some sort of alien creature. Smaller mounds of rubble lie against the opposite wall. Beyond this room is another door you open it. At first glance, this cold cavern presents a strange and disconcerting vista—that of a desert valley under a starless, night sky. A stretch of sand covers the ground, a vista broken here and there by bits of strange, spiky shells or contorted, dead fronds that look like branches.

(time wise it should be around noon now)

He also bends his ear in an attempt to catch wind of trouble before it catches wind of him.

She follows the group, checking behind for the skulks until the door is closed behind them, hoping there was only one of those strange cards that opens doors.

She looks at the strange skeletons that appear in the room before entering the next door, which seems to open into the wilderness, Night time already... Strange no stars shining either! Very weird.

She spreads her wings and takes flight to fly upwards to get a better view of the desert before them.

Kurgu can see drag marks and strange footprints trough this are most are several days old.

Gal flies up about twenty feet and slams into and invisible ceiling. Looking down however she does see what appears several four armed skeletons converging on the group.

There no stars in the night sky it's just pure blackness.

Readying is rapier Ibarra goes into a defensive crouch and whispers,

"It sounds like we have company. Can anybody make a light?"

A wince was reflexive as their winged party member took flight and impacted the roof. That sounded painful, but at least they did not knock themselves out. It was so strange to be under the sky— or some illusion of it– when she knew that they were inside. The request for a torch was at least easily fulfilled, as she had a few in her pack and produced one with no trouble.

"Here you go", she responded in kind, handing the unlit torch to them.

Falv marvels at the self contained environment. Before he can really contemplate what he is seeing, he sees Gal smack into the roof followed by Ibarra whispering about incoming. He prepares his shield and axe in a defensive stance.

Kul'Theraka moves forward to stay out of the light to take advantage of his dark vision and see the incoming visitors.

She lets out a curse in her native strix after colliding with invisible barrier above her. She pokes the barrier with her hand, before residing to the fact she definitely can't go higher.

Seeing the skeletons approaching, There are 4 armed skeletons moving in.

She flies over to the other side of the skeletons, while preparing her sling with a bullet.
