Ah so we are gong in at level 6. Hrmm that changes things slightly, can I assume this will be normal throughout the rest of the game? I had planned to change Yvell around regardless. I must also inform the person I knew this change because all I knew was that we were not going to recruit until book 3, which the only info we knew was what as on the cover synopsis.


I took out some combat scenarios because they were weak or boring.

Probably will throw in some extra stuff at the beginning of Book 3 to get you to Level 7. Maybe 1 or 2 battles.

So you can start at 6, and have 7 ready. Those of you that are staying can also "retrain" if some of your choices weren't interesting or useful to you.

Uncanny Dodge (Ex)

At 4th level, a skald gains the ability to react to danger before his senses would normally allow him to do so. Just giving everyone a heads up. Depending on the gold we get i will be getting a Phylactery of positive channeling and a headband of aluring charisma for more channels and plus 2d6 to them. I pmed demonmoose and hes fine having the Phylactery as a neck slot item. So my healing will get even better when i have that. :)


A mind burner is a gun that shoots scents and draws out powerful memories.
On a successful hit, a mind burner causes intense headaches that dull the senses and weaken willpower. 1d4 nonlethal and -2 Perception and -1 penalty vs mind-affecting effects. It is a weird gun.

Smiler HQ fight was the fight against Gunshy and some smilers. +1 greatclub, and some other fairly useless things. Can round it to 500 gp and +1 greatclub.

Wow I can see that working well for a mind bender type caster. Weaken them with the gun then boom.

So this loot... is going to be split among us. Its safe to say Valtyra ill be getting what she needs.

GM Demonmoose I do have a question, how much extra would it cost to refit the apparatus Yvell has for his current Autograpnel, for the new one? Also I had an idea about the chainsaw if no one else wanted to do something with it.

Basically with this time Yvell could change his proficiency and pick up the chainsaw. However thematically it makes little sense that he'd abandon his Elven blade. So I was thinking maybe using the Church of Brigh, Magic and technology and mixing them together would be a nice compromise.

An Elven Chainsaw if you will. I'm not sure if you can use a Chainsaw without Charges but something along the lines of.. its a Elven Blade when not revved, but when revved just goes up a die size to 2d8?


It should cost the same as the other one, maybe some cost to remove it. 500 + 250 gp total

+1 Elven Chainsaw should be fine. Maybe 1000 gp to fuse magic and technology to your elven curved blade and the chainsaw. You are losing an +1 Elven Curved Blade and a +1 Chainsaw to make this. The rest is fine-needs charges to use in chainsaw mode.

It is but it mostly comes from Techno weapons being very expensive and most being timeworn. The non-timeworn ones are one use so thats sad but It is assumed they get used. So either way it just offsets the fact you will purchase/want to keep some of them.

Yvell for example taking the Chainsaw and Autograpnel is out 6k of his amount already. Getting Phylla an Amulet of Guided Mighty Fists is 4k.. thats 10k, Remounting the Autograpnel and fusing Technology is another 2k.. so 12k before he actually gets to spend any loot and he needs batteries for any tech. So really he has about 10k to freely spend. Which isnt a problem, Phylla s a wonderful personality and I want to explore the possibility of her growth more. Yvell is responsible for her receiving teaching and food.

Guided Amulet of Mighty Fists is 8000 gp? +1 for Amulet, +1 for Guided, right?

Didn't realize you could enchant an amulet, or non weapon/armor. Seems interesting. Or is it just a regular Amulet of Mighty Fists for Phylla?

For starters, Guided is not Pathfinder. It's from when Paizo was still doing 3.5. So you've got to have that special oked.

And, it's 4k because he's not having anything other than Guided. With AomF, you don't have to put on a +1 Enhancement bonus before adding specials.


Ah, Guided was in the SRD, but not the PRD.

It's probably okay since it's for Phylla, and she's not that important. I don't expect her to be murdering things with her attacks. Feel free to spend your money on the alien cohort.


You can spend Friday and Saturday deciding who to add to the party.

Its okay because its Paizo and it came from one of their AP's even when they were still doing 3.5, not everything they have done has been deemed to be redone much like some of their PRC's. On the grand scale of things its just worth the enchantment but generally you can spend money on better things. ust happens to be useful.. and make sense for her.
