Yeah. I didn't realize he was rolling on the glitch table. So it's his call on that—but if I do spend my second grit point to fire it on my first round, I'll just switch to the regular guns, because Quick Draw.

Also, Electric attacks are Super Effective against robots, so it's NICE to have a thundergun (or multiples, with tons of spare charges between them).

We have but its not like she has like.. 2... and she hasnt really used many spells either. she has something like.. 9 and they heal 7d6 and 10 more while raging.

Most robot weapon arent detachable sadly unless they are wielding them separately. it tends to be integrated which means you cant get them/

Hehe, I have to say its pretty good that Yvell is so sturdy otherwise that would have killed him or most people.

Muga should be fine that one in the corner hasnt fired his gun.

question for any GMs:

If an adventure path lists an item as a +1 Keen Scimitar, is that a +3 or a +2 item?

Is the +1 the inherent +1 of a magical weapon, or an extra +1 ?

I believe it's a +2 weapon (since "Keen Scimitar" is technically illegal). That's definitely how I do things when I GM.

Its a +2 item, The +1 is the Enhancement Bonus the Keen is an equavelent +1 Magic ability adding up to a +2. Just as Yvell's +1 Furious Chainsaw Blade is a +2 weapon.


AC 16, HP 50/50, Fort +8, Ref +6, Will +8, CMD 16, Init +16, per +2

For purposes of cost a +1 keen scimitar is +2. For purposes of defeating DR, it remains a +1 weapon.

So you can have a keen, speed, +1 scimitar (cost as a +5 weapon), but it will not satisfy DR requirements against materials (cold iron, silver, adamantine) or alignment like a straight up +5 weapon would.


Gotcha. Just making sure. Not that you guys have seen any special magic weapons yet.

Though notably, weapons such as bane DO count as the appropriate Enhancement bonus for DR at those specific targets or instances.

Well, sure. Furious and Bane weapons are the best way I know of to overcome DR.

Yeah... and Grammanar's Fort save isn't amazing, except against spells (though he might never get a chance to use his insane Superstitious bonuses in this campaign)

Ah thats right, you've technically had to save against Haste or whatever time to time.. that will suck. Then again I think you only get to use your rage powers while using your own rage not mine. Gram's save is +11 thats not exactly terrible.

Yvell's save is more a consequence of his classes/ideal more than any designed degree. I almost have never seen Well Versed used to any effect. So I was surprised. We HAVE been hit with spells before however so i dont think it will suddenly not be a thing.

Exactly! It's fine if I just use your rage. And I can drop your rage to pick up my own. Superstition + Witch Hunter means extreme punishment against the Technic League, who are Grammanar's sworn enemies anyway.

I've also been curious what you planned to do from here and whether you picked another feat finally. Because classwise you seems all over the place.

For Yvell Its really up in the air, my original plan went kaput with the crappy errata, featwise. Im still likely to take Skald to 8th however.

I'm long overdue to take Point-Blank, Rapid, and Precise Shot. Fighter gets me more feats, which the built needs, and I'll probably take it to 2 for maximum feat-efficiency. Grammanar only ever needed 1 level of Techslinger for the bonuses; the rest will be Barbarian, which just doesn't provide enough feats for a gun-user to be effective without a fighter dip.

Odds are I will beat you on init and get haste up before you rage.
