Also, I apologize for the ponderous pace of late, I've just been very busy. Had an unexpected resignation in my department recently and have been trying to keep up with work, and working more as a result.

The beginning of this week looked good for catching up, and then a Nurglish stomach flu got my son and wife, so I was playing 'medicae' to both while trying to keep my 2 year old daughter from touching anything my son was playing with, lol. I'm happy to report everyone is feeling better now, I'm just hoping all my hand washing and bleaching has kept me from getting anything.

Posting should be picking up again on my end barring any other unforeseen setbacks, thanks for being patient.

Looking forward to getting First Founding as well, it is currently in the mail from Paizo!

At the very least the Mark of Distinction so Lyriel can be part of the Inner Circle. Still deciding if I want to go the Epistolary route first, or go straight to Deathwing.

I think Vex can take both paths provided he meets the requirements.

No problem, Rook. Deal with your RL. We will be here for you, when you can.

Glad to see we are exceeding GM role-play expectations on Erioch! Let's just hope Lyriel and Emeric don't go rogue and transition the campaign to Black Crusade! >8D

And like Lorm says, no biggie with work/family/health logistics interfering with posting. Although I will admit I'm looking forward to getting that card tourney rolling in the Oremor campaign!!

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Lol no worries with that. This is how Dark Angels usually operate. Secrets, conspiracy, with hidden agenda's is our bread and butter. Don't worry Lyriel won't let you slide.

Balfric is completely right ^^

Now I got y x-mas bonus from my new job lol buying some ore space marines and hopefully finish my Carcharodons Astra. Probably play them as vanilla or blood angels until I get tyberos (not a proxy) since I don't even have enough termis with LC for his personal guard.

I hope to have my "story" done by the end of the weekend. Just need to type it out and fill any gaps I might find in the transition from brain to computer.

OK, Catman, looking forward to seeing it.

I just want to give you guys some insight into where things are heading in Sons of Jericho. My posting might be a little light prior to the holidays, but I am hoping to return to the regular schedule after Christmas. I expect to finish up with scenes in Watch Fortress Erioch prior to the New Year, and we should be launching the next mission, the Price of Hubris, by then. If there are any further activities or objectives you would like for your characters to attend to prior to the start of this scenario, post below please.

In addition to continuing his research, Brother Emeric will seek an audience with Magos Vyakai.

I will continue with the training of Decius and finish my penance. And also make an inquiry as to the results of the quarantine of the adept and the guardsmen. I also will take down the bottle of liqueur to the forge master and see how far he has gotten with making the lancea.

OK its up, if I keep pecking at it, it will no longer be in English. ;-)

haha! No way--Nice post, Catman.

Thank you, I took out a whole section that just did not make sense no matter how much I tweeted it.

One other agenda item for Emeric: converse with Erioch's tech savants regarding the data-core, ore-hauler, and any reports of stolen Astartes armor.

Hey Rook, I started a couple of threads on the FFG forums. Was trying to get some input on how I handle my Brother Emeric. I think I received some excellent feedback:

Black Templars and Librarians

Yes they are very good threads ^^ and lol I'm the one who is fighting you over worshiping the omnissiah xD hahaha, but I suppose it's just my character particular case.

Hey Deiros, no worries, keep it up! In fact I love it. I'm glad our different characters exhibit unique qualities. It would be boring and lame if we were cookie-cutter marines!

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

Lol we all cookie cutter marines. The problem is one is chocolate chip, one is oatmeal, another is a suger cookie ....

Those are just details in the end we are all made of cookie!

At leas we are not a box of chocolates...

Bal is dead on, you guys are definitely very different flavors of cookie. Speaking of which, my wife and I just finished up baking a dozen types of Christmas cookies, just one small part of a very demanding holiday prep. We host the family every year, so finding free time has been tough. The good news is, I can enter a 40K brainstorming fugue state while icing the faces on gingerbread (with my proficiency, some even LOOK like chaos mutants) so I should be back with a vengeance after Christmas.

Tonight we will wrap, and then it will be a long winter's nap before the the Christmas Eve party. I'll see you guys in the Dark Millenium again very soon, until then, have a very happy holiday!

Nice posts Eradico. I have to say I'm impressed by the quality of the replies you received. It seems like the DW and DH messageboards are frequented by some knowledgeable folks with a great grasp of canon and the setting. Definitely a resource worth taking advantage of.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Thanks for being patient with the erratic posting the last couple of weeks, the holidays get pretty hectic around here, and as much as I enjoy happy kids, presents, and tons of good food, it's always good to get back to the normal routine. I'll be posting to Sons of Jericho tonight, and then the Oremor Affliction tomorrow, and it then it should be back to our normal schedule. Looking forward to another great year of gaming with everyone!

lol looks like Ahmazzi is trying to get an early start.

OK Deiros, the opportunity may or may not be there, so if there is an alternate activity for Decius to pursue, please let me know.

I am good with continuing, I was having them head the the shooting range. I thought it was further away then in the same complex.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

OK Caledonii. As you can see, I have moved the timeline forward several days for the others, so I will move you and Decius on to a new indoctrination/training scene as well. I should have it up soon, so sharpen your chainswords!

Ellipsis:
Ellipsis, with your permission, I'd like to include Brother Syne in the scene with the other Dark Angels. It is optional, however, as it will presume that he has followed Brother Vex to the Dormitorium...or is colluding with Brother Bazzraef in some way. I will leave that up to you.

Sure thing, feel free to weave Eli in however you please.

For Rad,

I (finally) posted my hunter character's bio on the Dragon's Crag thread.

Rad--Emeric will let Brother Hrothgar take the lead and speak first to the Forgemaster.

Male Catfolk Shade (magically altered human) Monk-8, Mage-16

Nice book you wrote, Balfic. It does fit everything as you know it.

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Great post, Bal. More from Bazzraef tonight.

One note though, Nova Cruxis was actually the city on Tantalus where Roge Halis' beloved supposedly lived, it now shares the fate of Tantalus itself so it not an avenue of investigation that can really be pursued at this point.

Ellipsis, just a question before I proceed further: had we established if Brother Eli was cognizant of the Dark Angel's chapter secrets, particularly with regard to the Fallen yet?

Male Half-Orc 9th lvl Cleric, 4th lvl Ninja, 1st lvl Black Flame Zealot

My confusion with Nova Cruxis. Thought it was a place she moved to, and left him behind.

Glad you guys liked the post. Was definitely longer than I intended it to be. Especially for a character I am trying to limit to as few words as possible. Guess I blew my chance in him becoming the Korben Dallas of Space Marines.

Hi! Well just to explain my absence but promise to post something today I hope, its been hard all this damnable week, wife in the hospital and got laid-off so I'm a bit busy but will try to keep it up

Wow. Things sound rough, Deiros. Hang in there!

Dark Archive

Male Human Warhammer 40K GM

Sorry to hear that Deiros, I hope things get better for you. No worries about the game, just let me know if you need me to NPC you at all.

Rookseye wrote:

Eli is not privy to those secrets insofar as he has been told about the history and nature of their mission. However, he has served the chapter for well over a century and in that time has been able to acquire some general knowledge of what is going on.

OK, thanks Ellipsis, I just wanted to make sure where he stood in the whole Unforgiven/Fallen spectrum before I proceeded too far. Judging that Brother Eli is the introspective and perceptive sort, I'd agree he has probably intuited some of the bigger picture on his own.

I will need to be NPC if you don't mind me, since I'm trying to regain some sense of stability around here, I might post here and there but not as often as I should I think.

Sorry to hear the bad news Deiros. Hopefully everything will be well soon, and you can return back to the game full steam. Until then I wish you the best with your wife's health, and that you find employment soon.
