Ok here we go with requisition:
Chainsword 5
Flamer 10
Metal Storm Rounds 1 clip 15
Stalker Rounds 1 clip 5
This leaves 15 that I will use for a back banner if I am the leader if not and can be used by someone else gtg or if not a second clip of Metal Storm rounds.
The 1 special ammo clip I get as a tactical marine is going to be Hellfire rounds.

OK, I've compiled the Requisition from poring over the last several posts. I've edited each post slightly to show points spent, as well as points left over (particularly in Balfic's case, as his thriftiness generates additional points for everyone else).
This will be the final round of selection for Requisitions, and then I will post them to the wiki so that they can be referenced for the first scenario of the campaign.
Lyriel will pass up using any Requisition Points except for a data slate. The ability to keep notes being very important being a Librarian.
Lyriel's Requisition: 50
Spent: Dataslate (5)
Remaining: 45
Eli's Requisition: 50
Spent: (60) Heavy Bolter Hellfire Rounds - 25 + 5 (Heavy Bolter) = 30
Remaining: 20That's all I need, I'm open to suggestions about the rest.
I don't think a missile launcher will be super useful unless we are expecting heavies, so Eli is going to take the bolter. You may want to consider a flamer though, especially against melee foes like the 'nids.
Sepheren's Requisition: 50
Spent: Chainsword (5), 2 Blind Grenades (20), 2 Photon Flash Grenades, (10), 1 Dose Detox (10)
Remaining: 5
Emeric's Requisition:
Spent: Harness (4), Extra Repair Cement (1), Cluster Mines (5)[Demolitions is not a prerequisite to use these], Combi-tool (15),
Multikey (15), Chainsword (5), Bolter Mag-lock (5).
Remaining: 0
Hrothgar's Requsition:
Spent: Second bolt pistol (5), Second bolt pistol standard ammunition (0), 5 more frag grenades (5), 5 more krak grenades (5).
Remaining: 35
Caledonii's Requisition: Chainsword (5), Flamer (10), 1 clip Metal Storm Rounds (15), 1 clip Stalker Rounds (5), and 1 clip of Hellfire rounds (0) free clip for Tactical Marine.
Remaining: 15If not used by someone else, it will be used for a Back Banner if Caledonii leads, or an additional clip of Metal Storm rounds if not.
So, while still waiting on Brother Quintus, as things presently stand, that leaves about 105/120 points on the table, give or take the 15 that Caledonii is still deciding on. Looking it over, Brother Hrothgar may want to spend a little more (specialized ammo?). Otherwise it is luxury time for those of you who felt constrained by the 50 points. I'll let you guys make the final decisions on Requisition tonight.
Also, once everyone decides amongst themselves who will be the mission leader and decide the selected Oath, we'll be ready to begin the game!
Eradico Pravus
Emeric's Requisition:
Spent: Harness (4), Extra Repair Cement (1), Cluster Mines (5)[Demolitions is not a prerequisite to use these], Combi-tool (15),
Multikey (15), Chainsword (5), Bolter Mag-lock (5).
Remaining: 0
Emeric will add a second set of cluster mines (5) and one bolter clip of Hellfire rounds (15).
20 additional requisition points. I can dial down this request if someone is going for something REALLY big!
Eradico Pravus
I'm bringing over a quote from the Oremor page.
...I personally think the tough part will be tracking modes in PbP, so I've started to think about what kind of tagging we can do in posts during combat. I am also open to recommendations...
Would it be helpful if at the beginning of our post we typed something like this?
solo or squad mode / current mode employed
For example, my post might start:
"Squad / Fire Support"
or
"Solo / Burst of Speed"
Just an idea but that may help Rook from having to backtrack our posts to see who's doing what.
Ellipsis
Bal may want to consider taking a psy-focus. It's 15 points but has no renown requirement and gives +10 to Invocation tests.
Otherwise, good options include:
Hellfire rounds - 25/magazine (expensive but nice)
Kraken rounds - 15/magazine (expensive but nice)
Frag/Krak grenades - 1/ea (cheap and useful)
Vox-caster - 10 (very useful in our situation)

Glad you brought this up, Eradico. I was going to mention this after Requisition was finalized, but now works as well. I think you have the right idea. Denote mode and current mode employed at the very start of the post, but type it in brackets and OOC, like this:
[Squad Mode]/[Fire Support]
The OOC tags and brackets make it stand out a little better. This, coupled with what I will do on the main 'Battle-Brothers' page on the wiki should keep things straight. Basically, each of your name tags on the splash page has two versions, one with a single power armor helmet on it, the other with three, signifying solo/squad. Here is an example: I'll put Emeric in Solo mode, and Ellipsis in Squad, so you can see: Battle-Brothers Page.

Iron Snakes
History
The Iron Snakes of Ithaka are an old Chapter, although the origins of the Iron Snakes are difficult to pin down; reportedly a Second Founding chapter, their Legion of origin is unknown. Although they pay respect to Roboute Guilliman, it is uncertain if they are an Ultramarine descendant, particularly as they are a non-Codex chapter.
The Iron Snakes are based around the planet Ithaka, 'The Cradle of Snakes' and their Fortress Monastery is located on the fortress moon of Karybdis. The Chapter defends the Reef Stars from all enemies, regularly engaging their ancient foe, the Dark Eldar or Primuls as they are sometimes known in the region.
Home world
Ithaka is an ocean world that includes a rare species of giant water snake know as leviathans. They are vast creatures, with hides covered in adamantine hard scales and with jaws big enough to swallow gunships and tanks whole. As part of initiation and training Iron Snakes petitioners must kill a leviathan with a Sea Lance, a heavy spear-like weapon that they throw from a fleet water skiff. It is a good omen for a petitioner to kill a leviathan with a single lance throw.
The Reef Stars
The Iron Snakes appear to have been stationed in the sector of space known as the Reef Stars many thousands of years ago, and charged with its protection as their primary mission. The inhabited worlds of the Reef, while varied in their technological development, each appear to have some form of summoning aid from the Iron Snakes ritualized into their society. The Iron Snakes are a myth or legend to some worlds, an awe-inspiring reality to others. Regardless of how they are viewed, the Snakes of Ithaka take their duty to the Reef Stars as seriously as only Space Marines can, and will go to any lengths possible to protect the sector and its citizenry.
The actions they have fought in the Reef Stars are numerous, as the whole area appears to be under constant threat by Dark Eldar raiding parties. As a result, the Iron Snakes have amassed considerable experience fighting the Dark Eldar, who they (and the people of the Reef Stars) also refer to as the "primuls." The Iron Snakes also fought a ten year all-out war against a supremely large Ork invasion. The Ork forces, made up of multiple Waaaghs, were so large that it was impossible for the Iron Snakes to defeat them by martial means. However, having managed to secure a relic apparently considered sacred by the Orks, the Iron Snakes were able to draw the Ork forces out of the Reef Stars and into unclaimed/Xenos (presumably Dark Eldar) territory. The remainder of the Orks was expunged, and the Reef Stars were judged greenskin-free for over a thousand years.
Combat Doctrine
When a mission, referred to within the chapter as an 'undertaking', is decided upon the Chapter Master announces how many squads he believes are required to ensure its success. All squad-leaders who wish to volunteer their units for the mission then place their tokens into a kylix (a form of drinking cup whose origins lie in ancient Terra). The Chapter Master then decides which squads to assign to the undertaking based upon which tokens he finds in the kylix.
The Iron Snakes appear to rely heavily on squad based tactics, operating rarely in company strength groups. However their most significant divergence is their use of Sea Lances and combat shields in combat. In certain situations, usually when sustained and hard fought close combat is expected, Iron Snakes squads are equipped with combat shields and adamantine tipped Sea Lances for the battle. Standing before the enemy onslaught the Iron Snakes thin their ranks with rapid bolter fire before forming a shield wall, using their lances and combat swords to present a united front to the enemy. Though this method of fighting seems anachronistic it has nonetheless proved effective, particularly against the greenskin menace. Beyond such special circumstances the Chapter appears to follow the Codex, relying on their power armor and bolter to carry most battles.
While the squad is the principal tactical unit of the Chapter, sometimes even less manpower is deployed. In cases of responding to general aid requests from the worlds of the Reef Stars, it is customary to dispatch only one Battle-Brother from the closest squad to investigate. The Brother chosen is often either the newest member of the squad, or a member being considered for the role of successor by the squad-leader; a one-person undertaking is seen as a fitting challenge for such marines. Historically, only one warrior usually suffices in cases of general aid requests, though it is no shame for the individual to request the presence of his fratery-brothers once appraised of the specific situation.
The Iron Snakes are unique in their tactical squads in the fact that all squads are attached with an Apothecary unlike other codex astartes who are assigned one per company.
Past Events
1. Assault on Pelbury Civitas: You held the line with the rest of your battle-brothers against the chaos aberrations in the 13th black crusade. You were among the reinforcements who successfully defended against the chaos aberrations tides.
2. Endured the WAAAGH! : You stood with your fellow phratery against the Waaagh! Dozens of greenskin invaders died at your hands.
3. Trained Petitioners: You upheld the traditions of the Iron Snakes by training and mentoring young petitioners with your phratery.
4. Scourging of Fornax Aleph: Chapter Master Seydon dispatched some squads of Iron Snakes, including your own, to cleanse Fornax Aleph from daemon infestation. After years.
5. Guard of Excelsis: You were part of a strike force deployed to end a Dark Eldar raid upon the Imperial planet Excelsis for its resources. You were among the few sent in solo to deal with the Dark Eldars in some areas of Excelsis.
Chapter Demeanor
Sons of Ithaka
The Iron Snakes squads themselves aren’t organized on any greater level, other than the chapter entire. There aren’t any companies to speak of. All task forces are assembled ad hoc from the available squads with squad leaders designating themselves as ready for the mission, or undertaking, as the chapter refers to it.
The squads maintain their own history and foster rivalries (although very rarely to the point of violent contention). Additionally, the Chapter reveres certain attributes, particularly Hunt for the Leviathan, endurance, fellowship, and adaptability. They accept their responsibilities to protect and serve with humility and silence performing their duties to tempered perfection. Each moment not spent in battle is spent training among his chapter brothers or maintaining his equipment.
The emphasis on small unit training and independent action of the Iron Snakes space marines makes them ideal for small scale operations where they may need to fight for extended periods with little or no support.
Iron Snakes Space Marines
Iron Snake Space Marines are renowned for their fighting skills with their Sea Lances as well as inspiring their fellow brothers to greater deeds and gain the following: +5 Weapon Skill +5 Fellowship.
Bonus Talent: Combat Formation and Signature Wargear.
Restrictions: Iron Snakes have no Scouts and veterans are not formed into a company.
Battle Cry: For Ithaka!

Pride of Ithaka (same as the ultra marines just fluff changes)
Battle-Brothers of the Iron Snakes Chapter know well their place among the Adeptus Astartes and the importance of their Chapter in the Reef Stars. They have the pride in knowing that theirs is the pinnacle of the Tactical Marine training and the legacy of the loyalist legions which served the Emperor in his darkest days. It is a pride, however, that can sometimes blind them to reality and make them arrogant and uncooperative when the battle would dictate they work with lesser warriors.
Level 1 (Amongst the Finest): Iron Snakes consider themselves the Emperor’s favored sons and the pride of the Imperium. This can lead members of the Chapter to consider others incapable or unable to complete missions that should by rights fall to the Iron Snakes. The Battle-Brother always volunteers his Kill-team for the most dangerous or challenging Missions whenever possible and always ensures his team is where the fighting is the thickest.
Level 2 (Sons of the Ithaka): The Battle-Brother has been trained to follow the Chapter ways to the letter and interpret its teachings flawlessly. Understandably, he is unaccustomed of those Chapters that do not adhere to the Codex. The Battle-Brother cannot benefit from Squad Mode Actions called by Space Marines of the Space Wolves or Black Templars Chapters, as he will simply is not used to the unusual tactics of their orders.
Level 3 (Leaders and Individuals): Iron Snakes are natural leaders and individualist this makes them excellent battlefield commanders at all levels of command. This pride and training, however, can lead to them scorning or disregarding the leadership of those from other Chapter or Imperial forces. Unless the Battle-Brother is currently the Kill-team squad leader or the leader is a fellow Iron Snake, his Kill-team’s Cohesion is reduced by 2. This has no effect on him when using Solo Mode.

Bal may want to consider taking a psy-focus. It's 15 points but has no renown requirement and gives +10 to Invocation tests.
I thought the same thing but I don't think he took Invocation with his initial training.
Otherwise, good options include:
Hellfire rounds - 25/magazine (expensive but nice)
When am I going to learn to read a *gosh-dang* rulebook?
>>Emeric will add a second set of cluster mines (5)
>>and one bolter clip of Hellfire rounds (15).
Change my addendum request from Hellfire to Kraken rounds. Still an additional 20 points of req.

Missed it on my initial go around. If no one objects I will definately take it.
As far as Squad Leader against Tyranids I agree Quintus makes the most sense. I would have suggested a Dark Angel as a possible alternate, but neither of us seem to have Death Wing honors.

Also, even if we don't have Demolitions, we should try to think of some way to rig the refinery to explode. Otherwise all that promethium will just go to waste.
This made me chuckle for some reason. I have to admit I am very eager to see what kind of mayhem seven fully equipped space marines can get up to once the shooting starts.

I know the feeling, Balfic, since you know that my 40k armies are Black Legion, Thousand Sons, World Eaters and Daemons. Balfic has one the largest Iron Warrior armies in the country. That's why it is so ironic for the two of us to be playing acolytes and space marines.

Thank you very much, I've visited that site also and red the novels, this is the best I could do with all the fluff =) for a Custom Chapter following the rules of Rites of Battle

In all honesty I feel kinda dirty playing a marine. I have been a proud supporter of the Chaos Legions for almost 20 years now.
Thanks for the well wishes Deiros will be an interesting campaign. That much I am certain.

I know who my go-to guys on Chaos Marine lore are now. As always, if you see me tripping on blind spots in my canon, please correct me. Consider this an opportunity for you two to atone for all the poor Adeptus Astartes you've slaughtered in tabletop mini games over the years!

OK, if I am reading things correctly, the following additional Requisition purchases have been made:
Brother Lyriel Vex:
Psy-focus (15)
Brother Emeric:
Cluster mines (a second set, 5),
1 clip of Kraken rounds (15)
Brother Quintus:
Heavy Flamer (15)
To be assigned:
Vox-caster (10)
Chrono x7 (7)
Total: 67
This will still leave 53/(38) points of Requisition (depending on if Brother Caledonii spends what he reserved), I'd recommend some specialty ammunition for Brother Vex, Brother Hrothgar and Brother Quintus if they so choose...
Also, we have 2 votes for Brother Quintus to lead this mission so far, two more votes will give him a majority, so if you haven't yet voted, please submit your ballot. Remember, leadership rotates through the course of a campaign and should be decided based on who plays to the strengths of the mission. You are all experienced battle-brothers, and are capable of bearing the mantle of command.

Well I have no idea what the black helmets in the brother section means, just hope nothing bad.
Those are just indicators of solo(1 helmet)/squad mode(3 helmets), Deiros, I just happened to pick Brother Emeric and Brother Sepheren's plaques to show how it worked.

I'll put forth two alternate nominations:
- Caledonii - Oath of Glory (Deathwatch doesn't let us have nice things without renown)
- Vex - Oath of Knowledge (We know from the outset that this is a bug hunt, might as well use it)
At the moment I don't have any particular misgivings about our cohesion, though experience may change that.
PS: Rook, when you put up the mode identifiers on the Battle-Brother page it seems to have killed the links to Emeric and Sepheren. Just a heads up.

Email sent, enjoy it ^^ and modify what you see fit. I also added acouple of stuff (Salamanders chapter) and other things.
Yeah Blood for the blood god xD I always loved Khorne and chaos. So I know the feeling of weird playing the good guys.
"Death to the False Emperor and let the galaxy burn!"
Who says the space marines are the good guys. Look what the Space Wolves did to the Thousand Sons. They wiped out their home planet.

Rookseye, I am carrying a heavy flamer, are you suggesting special ammo for my bolt pistol? If so my req would be:
Heavy Flamer(15), fire selector(2) Kraken rounds(5), and Hellfire rounds(25) for a total of 47. Of course, the other ammo for the fire selector would be regular bolt rounds.

OK, so there it stands, please check it over to make sure I didn't miss anything important.
Remaining Requisition is 26, how about a clip of Hellfire for the generous Brother Vex to finish spending, and an extra chrono in case one breaks?
Balfic-graa
Thats fine with me Rook, at least the chrono. That way I can time stamp my notes Lol.
Regarding Chaos fluff will be more than happy to help out. Its true I have an obscene amount of Iron Warriors. Use to have World Eaters, and Thousand Sons too, but these moved over to Lorm awhile ago. Got to love miniature migration.
Lorm, Rad is right about Horus convincing the Wolves to go all out on Prospero.
But ultimately you can blame three people for the Heresy. Lorgar, for having a hissy fit, because his Dad chewed him out. And in his Emo rage decided to take it out on his whole family. The Emperor, for being a delinquint Dad throwing all his sons into the military without any consideration of there hopes and dreams. And not recogniziing his sons needed a maternal figure in there lives. At least a sister or two. And finally Dorn; just because he's arrogant, and I hate the guy. Seriously though if he heeded early warnings the Heresy could have been nipped in the bud.

That does not mean The Thousand Sons don't blame the Space Wolves, and my earlier point is not negated. No matter who was the cause, they destroyed another legion's homeworld with no hesitation. I would guess in the end Horus' plan worked, since the Thousand Sons are now one of the nine original legions turned to chaos and one of the four dedicated legions. Dorn is a jerk lol.

Heavy Flamer(15), fire selector(2) Kraken rounds(5), and Hellfire rounds(25) for a total of 47. Of course, the other ammo for the fire selector would be regular bolt rounds.
According to Deathwatch Errata Kraken rounds for a bolter cost 15.
I'm at work and don't know if it's cheaper for bolt pistols, though.
