If you don't mind my asking. Why the 18 str? Multiclassing?

My dear friend Hamzah, the Dawnflower blesses us with greater power yes. It is our duty to see that her light spreads to all who witness the glory of the dawn! In Kelmarane we will illuminate the deviants there to her glory.

As Hajar says this his hand gestures and expressions convey the deepest sincerity that all things are possible through faith.

I'm still thinking of putting that into wis, for a more balanced druid, casting spells then wildshaping to join the fray. If I keep it this way, highest spell level for a druid is 6 so a +2 wis item will fill that in if we ever get to higher level.

It also opens up the possibility of dipping into barbarian, which I also like to play.

GM Dave, would you mind if I changed my non-campaign trait from (Gnome) Explorer to (Gnome) Animal Friend? I will adjust my bio accordingly.

*Edit: nearly done the character sheet. Should be able to finish tonight.

Here is the Alias for Geriatric. I will add my backstory to my profile, and work on rolling up the character today.

Recruitment is closed! I will post the accepted party soon.

Hey Dave, who are the confirmed players at this point?

If you were planning on taking Raj, the other Wizard, then I can switch to a different class. I would probably go ranger or another frontline character.

Looks like im taking 7 players.

We got 2 wizards apply but i like the stories, and there was some confusion when I moved to discussion. So I dont feel right dropping one of you.

Story will advance when I have 6 of 7 players post.

Dave,

I was planning on playing a wizard, primarily because I didn't see that we were going to have any arcane support. I'm not familiar with them at all, and I really don't want to pull away from someone's specialization.

I can keep the same story with just a few alterations, but I think I would like to switch classes if that's okay. If you would prefer me to stay Wizard as that is what I submitted, then that's fine also.

Edit: I would probably go Ranger, with a lot of Desert Survival capabilities. (just saw your post, that you would like the change. I will get started writing up this character)

Fluff for Tiefling Rogue :

Camp trait: Born in Kelmarane

Originally from Kelmarane and a childhood friend of Jim , Miles and his family were located Kelmarane when the tragedy occurred. He doesn't remember much but all of them died that day except for his mother. The earliest thing he could remember was living in katapesh.

When she passed about a about a year ago he found s hidden a Puzzle locked box. Eventually he finished the puzzle lock and inside he found a birth certificate of him being born in Kelmarane

Thus Miles took it upon himself to become an someone who could one day return to the overrunned city in order to find out more about himself.

Although she never spoke of Kelmarane and always told mile that everyone died when he was but a child in a horrific tragedy where the house was burned to the ground.

in the locked bock he also found a silver ring bearing a strange sigil that no one was able to recognize. Apparently there wasn't many people who where able to flee from Kelmarane

Miles having to train himself and basically fend off the tough rules on Katapesh in order to make a living. Not one for wetworks, assassinations, or open robbery, Miles preferred to be a tinkerer, familiarizing himself with a variety of different makes and models of locks and traps. It was often his role to accompany "enforcers" to the home of a target and grant them entry so that others could threaten, intimidate, or sometimes murder their target.

It was also his role to purloin what other rogues saw as their own property from the hands of those who didn't have anything better to do with it than keep it behind lock and key. And in spite of the criminal nature of his actions, he rather enjoyed the challenges set forth, and likewise had great motivation not to be caught

When Miles heard that Garavel was looking for brave men and women to aid in retaking the village of Kelmarane from a tribe of gnolls in the service of the notorious Carrion King, he knew that this was his chance, to uncover more of his past and signed up immediately.

@Leyli I think so yes.

Hajar: because that is was he was in the beginning but as it turns out he did figure out that he needed to defend himself as he had a more of a lone rogue operation. :) working as hired help.

he does have all the face skill + recon / trap and stealth. he is more of a polyvalent rogue then any thing else.

The knife master if his ace in the Boot in order to surprise those would would want to double cross him

Yea sorry it will take me a while to remember the names.

Do you care to have your pet go in the same combat round as you?

Max starting gold for your class everyone! Any thing you can afford is available as you started in the biggest market in the world!

I was going to say that actually, so I don't lag the game.

Can anyone explain to me the tiefling rogue fav class option:

Rogue Add +1/2 to sneak attack damage dealt to creatures with the outsider type.

if i take it at level 1 how does it work? (and for other level)?

Furball:
HP 23/23, AC 16, T 11, FF 15, CMD 16, Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +3, Init +3, Perc +2, Melee +3

I'm not a rules person but the way I understand it, your sneak attack damage on lvl 1 would be 1d6+1 for outsiders, then add 1 for every 2 levels after so at level 3 it becomes 2d6+2.

Male
Spoiler:
AC 18-FF 17-Touch 11/HP 16/11/Channel Energy: 5/6 Day
Cleric of Sarenrae 2

Favored class bonuses provide +1/2 per level means +1 ever two full levels. So it would not even give one point of damage until level 2.

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

I believe Hamzah is correct yes.

got it so its a fixed damages bonus....

not bad i need to think about it.

tks you all.

bwt character is ready

I'm going to go with Hamzah on the favored class levels. Make sure that would replace the +1 hp or skill point per level.

Reminder post in gameplay when you are done with your character!

i will go with hp for the 1st level :)

Grim The Wanderer wrote:

Ill put the question to the group but once that choice is made you cannot change it can you?

You can't change it for that level. You can always alternate.

I did not know that thank you!

I thought the same thing at first too. Then I read it again and it was more clear.

I might not be able to post that much on saturday night, PST. Just a heads up.

Male Sylph Conjurer (Focused Teleportation) 5

Just wanted to point out that Raj's guess that an Efreet is behind this is not because of meta-gaming; in his family Efreet are regarded as special enemies, and because of his family's lore Raj has always lived with the fear that an Efreet would one day track him down and rain fiery destruction.

Haha no worries. Your wrong anyway lol.

Same here. We had our table top game last night and we went really late ... and darn near had a tpk!!! Lol

dm would it be possible for you to handle the xp thing and just tell us when we level? :)

Sure.

Guys this part of the AP pretty straight forward so without doing a major rewrite you are going to be disappointed at the lack of mystery. Its more for you to meet the NPC's.

I don't have any knowledge of this AP so everything is pretty much a mystery to me lol

same here i haven't read or heard a thing about it either.

Hajar I know detect evil does not work like I had it work in my last post. I think that knowledge will help the game along at this point. IE your character needs to know that anytime he uses detect evil that will be the result.
