Lucendar has nearly 8K posts and his concept seems like it would be fun roleplaying. We need some chaos in the game to stir stuff up I feel.

What is your guys average treasure level would you say? Everyone got about 3K for the year off so 4, 5K for a new player?

Kakooyapesh the Gnoll Barbarian

Kuralaak's got 5500 or so.

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

Hajar has some ungodly amount....closer to 10k. Tempest itself is an 8k item....

Tempest don't count lol.

Ok I'll let the noobs have 5K to play with.

If you feel you have less tell me.

Grand Lodge

Male Sylph Conjurer (Focused Teleportation) 5

Raj has got something closer to Hajar, but then again, almost 3000 of that is in writing spells...

grim has 5k in magical items currently + cash

We got a barbarian human. Meh
Gnoll ranger. He seems into the idea so that's a plus.
The sorcerer. Could be cool
And a healer.

I would like to just take 2. 7 players bogs down.

Thoughts?

What are you thoughts for the new players?

i would say the healer and 1 more.

if we get 1 melee guy that gives 1 more flank buddy for grim and if we get the sorc we get lots of magic to the group

but yes i would agree with just 1 or 2

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

It doesn't really matter the class of the new players honestly, like I've said before, we can more than cover it. I'm more interested in people who will commit to multiple posting per day and willing to RP.

Dave, I pmed you about my thoughts.

Also, Dave the campaign tab is a mess. Change the current map link to the actual current map.

I invited 3 players so we are back to 7. I really like how passionate the Gnoll player was about his character idea. I think he and Kuralaak will have fun roleplaying together.

Hi Dave.

Hajar, Grim, Kuralaak, and Raj, My sincere apologies for not being able to post. I am going to officially bow out of this campaign. I am glad that you have found some people to fill in.

Dave, you are a wonderful GM to play with, and I really enjoy your games. Hopefully, down the road my work situation will change and I'll be able to get back to a point where I can post and can join a future game. I am also looking at a possible new job which might allow more time as well.

I appreciate all the patience and time spent with me. You are all great roleplayers and I very much enjoyed the game. I will definitely be coming back to read of your exploits whenever time allows me to do so.

Good luck, and high rolls everyone.

Naziri you are still in the Shattered Star game. So just post there when you can man.

This game was always meant to be a high post game and it has slowed WAAAAY down.

Thanks for your understanding.

We do what we can DM :)

Selina Aldaeth Do you know Iryna Pantaeva? If so then Iryna will tell the party of her friend companion or whatever that is still captured.

Selina can be here of her own accord studying the temple of Rovrogug or anything else you can think of.

Give me a direction and we will run with it. I want to get you in quick.

GM: Selina feels a pull toward the desert (most likely due to her efreeti blood - a secret she guards very closely) which she does not understand and she could have joined a caravan of fellow adventurers (such as Iryna) to venture and investigate. She doesn't see herself as evil but she sometimes loses control, especially when casting fire spells, and she credits this toward her ancestry. Maybe the caravan was waylaid by gnolls and she was captured. So knowing the cleric is fine, if that makes your job easier.

Take a look at

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/additionalMonsters/monsterAdvancement.ht ml#_fiendish-creature-(cr-+0-or-+1)

for some simple templates to apply. Otherwise you can add class levels to creatures +1class level adds +1 CR generally.

Or you can add some advanced templates like 1/2 Dragon or 1/2 Fiend

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

I concur with a Level of something like Fighter..Or Templates.. they tend to be easy and fix issues with things of that nature.

No worries I got an idea that's much cooler than using templates. =D

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

Whelp lets see what happens.. but He's done good so far lootless compared to.. alot of other chars..

Kronus your character sheet is hard to access.

Give me a rundown on how you have +10 to hit and +11 damage with your fists.

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

Bab 5 + Str 3 + Favored Enemy 4 - power attack 2 = +10
1d4 + Str 3 + Favored Enemy 4 + Power attack 4 = +11

They were both 4 lower because Animals are not his favored enemy

Easier now?

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

Natural Weapon Rules:
Natural Attacks Most creatures possess one or more natural attacks (attacks made without a weapon). These attacks fall into one of two categories, primary and secondary attacks. Primary attacks are made using the creature's full base attack bonus and add the creature's full Strength bonus on damage rolls. Secondary attacks are made using the creature's base attack bonus –5 and add only 1/2 the creature's Strength bonus on damage rolls. If a creature has only one natural attack, it is always made using the creature's full base attack bonus and adds 1-1/2 the creature's Strength bonus on damage rolls. This increase does not apply if the creature has multiple attacks but only takes one. If a creature has only one type of attack, but has multiple attacks per round, that attack is treated as a primary attack, regardless of its type. Table: Natural Attacks by Size lists some of the most common types of natural attacks and their classifications.

Some creatures treat one or more of their attacks differently, such as dragons, which always receive 1-1/2 times their Strength bonus on damage rolls with their bite attack. These exceptions are noted in the creature's description.

Creatures with natural attacks and attacks made with weapons can use both as part of a full attack action (although often a creature must forgo one natural attack for each weapon clutched in that limb, be it a claw, tentacle, or slam). Such creatures attack with their weapons normally but treat all of their natural attacks as secondary attacks during that attack, regardless of the attack's original type.

This may help some.

I am not the most knowledgeable guy when it comes to rules. I have been playing in the Pathfinder system for about 6 months.

It sounds like to me your claws would be your primary natural attacks.

So claws would be Bab 5+ Str 3+ Favored enemy if it applies and minus power attack if used.

The bite would be a secondary attack so it would be Bab 5 + Str 3 minus 5 for secondary attack .

So Bonus to hit with claws would be: 8 base. 6 with power attack. 12 on a Gnoll. and 10 power attacking a Gnoll.

[b]So Bonus to hit with Bite would be: 3 base. 1 with power attack. 7 on a Gnoll. and 5 power attacking a Gnoll.

Claw damage would be: 1d4+3 Str Base. 1d4+7 Power Attacking. 1d4+11 power attacking a Gnoll.

Bite Damage would be: 1d4+1 Str. 1d4+5 Power Attacking. 1d4+9 power attacking a Gnoll.

Does that look right to everyone?

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

In pathfinder they made a certain change to natural attacks in general. There is a list of Primary and Secondary Natural Attacks.. All primary use your Full Bab and Str regardless of how many you might have.. they however can only be used once per limb.. While secondary are at - 5 to hit 1/2 Str and follow the rules for an off-hand for power attack. Now in this particular case.. I had to take thee Social Trait adopted to take Tusked and flavored it differently because I wanted a Bite attack. The text had horrible editors and assumed you would be using a weapon with a full attack not natural attacks and they advise you go based on the Bestiary 1 and 2 for basic rules save for the damage.. the damage stays the same.. Thus like every creature with two claws and a bite they are at your best.. but you dont get Iterative Attacks unless you use a manufactured weapon.

In 3.5 you had to chose what was your Primary and everything else was secondary.. in PF the rule is as above instead.

Oh and if it were a secondary attack the Bite would have been 1d4+7 not +9

Guys I am sorry, I usually post like a fiend but the doctor says I'm very sick. Should be better in 24 hours now that they've given me the latest israeli alchemical pills from my local hi-school pharmacy.

So, Kronus was adopted by orcs?

Tusked:
Tusked
Source Orcs of Golarion pg. 23
Category Race
Requirement(s) Half-Orc, Orc
Huge, sharp tusks bulge from your mouth, and you receive a bite attack (1d4 damage for Medium characters). If used as part of a full attack action, the bite attack is made at your full base attack bonus –5.

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

Story wise he went more feral to gain more reputation and literally to physically grow because he USED to be a runt. That necklace is a pact in a way to an Orcish Deity of Slaughter (( Rather than Lamashtu or The Gnoll Champion Deity)) who demands he take a piece from every other Gnoll/Strong Creature he slays or defeats in battle; it whispers to him instructions from time to time on how to get to his next goal, normally with a price of some kind. so yes He is in a way raised by Orcs.. and Gnolls.. just not in the traditional way.. which is why he uses his claws and teeth.. rather than conventional weapons.

There actually is ALOT of back-story with that I'm just not sure how much I should state or not.

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

He worships the Orcish deity of slaughter......not sure how Hajar would feel about that....we are playing in a Good aligned campaign.

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

He doesnt worship anything .. He's using this necklace for power, nothing more nothing less; He also is not aware said god is even a god.. nor does he care. He has his own goals.... Heck he would probably be CG if wasnt for the fact that he doesn't actively try to do good.. nor does he actively try to do evil.

Female Human Cleric 5 | HP 38 | AC 19 FF 19 T10 | Saves +5/+1/+8 | Init +0 | Percep +4

Evil is as evil does. :/ Time will tell.

Grim isn't really a Good type either Kronus so you will be ok. just don't do your laundry in front of Hajar that's all... :)

no worries there DM

i was planing on taking the feat a level 7 :)

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

Oh Im not worried :) Story-wise Kronus has no reason so far to be Good so he wouldnt be.. His overarching reason is actually slightly noble and cliche'

@ Raj: GM-Dave said that you have some item creation feats. When I hit level 7 I would not be adverse to taking either Craft Arms & Armor or Wondrous. Would that compliment what you were going after?

As a cleric taking Arms and Armor will give us access to Holy weapons, for the added 2d6 against Evil :) I am sure Hajar will appreciate that!

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

That would be nice, however I am wielding what amounts to an artifact weapon so it cannot be enchanted further.

Raj has the feat also I believe.
