Ha! Yes. Digging your character by the way. She's very well rounded as paladins go.

After giving it some thought, I'm thinking I'll be submitting a melee alchemist.

I'll be busy for the majority of the day but I've got a lot of my ideas squared away. More on this later.

What is your character’s name? Atshushia Greyeyes. Friends call me "Atshu"

How old is your character? You aren't supposed to ask that to a lady. I'm barely over 30, if you really need to know.

What would somebody see at first glance (i.e. height, weight, skin color, eye color, hair color, physique, race, and visible equipment)?
I'm an halfling, with black hair and grey eyes. I'm not much a fighter, obviously. I still got some ink on my hands... Sorry for that!

What additional attributes would be noticed upon meeting the character (i.e. Speech, mannerisms)? I got a book in my hands most of the time? But don't be afraid, I enjoy people too!

Where was your character born? I am from Cheliax. Enough said.

Where were you raised? First in Cheliax, then on the roads, all the way to Nirmanthas

By who? By my parents, mostly, as a young girl. By Theodor Gyalin, a mage, when I was older, as his apprentice.

Who are your parents? My mommy was Billa Dalligen. My dad was Rupert Vanese

Are they alive? No. My dad died when we fled Cheliax. My mom died more peacefully two years ago, in her bed.

What do they do for a living?

Do you have any other family or friends? I probably have family still in Cheliax. I consider Gyalin as a mentor and a friend.

What is your character’s marital status? I'm single.*blushes*

Kids? None, of course. What kind of girl do you think I am?

What is your character’s alignment? LG

What is your character’s moral code? "Protect those less fortunate than you. Do not only the right thing, do the good thing, and keep quiet about it."

Does your character have goals? In fact, yes! I'd like to write a book. I've spend so much time reading books, that I'd like to write one.

Is your character religious? Not very much. I pray to Erastil, Cayden Caillean, Nethys, Desna,Milani, Korada and Andoletta mostly.

What are your character’s personal beliefs? I do believe in being kind, patient, gentle and caring with others. I don't believe in self pity, cause there are always people who are in worst situation than you (most of the time)

Does your character have any personality quirks (i.e. anti-social, arrogant, optimistic, paranoid)? I have been told that I eat a little too much in time of stress.

Why does your character adventure? Errr..why should I go on adventure? I mean, I've given my word to Niska, on her deathbed, that I'll protect her daughter to the best of my abilities, and I'll be true to my promise, but it's not as if the girl would wander more than a mile from Sandpoint, no?

How does your character view his/her role as an adventurer? Come on, you're pulling my leg now... I don't know! As a arcane protector, if you really have to know!

Does your character have any distinguishing marks (birth-marks, scars, deformities)? Do semi-permanent ink spots on my hands and lips count? I'm always reading, and sometimes writing, you know. I'm not always careful with the freshest inks.

How does your character get along with others? I have an open mind.

Is there anything that your character hates? I don't even hate Chelaxians. I mean, they are wrong to use my people, and other, as slaves, but if we manage to show them that they have more to gain by treating other as equals, maybe they will abandon slavery.
That said, I hate when there is too much spice in my meals.

Is there anything that your character fears? Slavery, without a doubt. I had this strange dream, a few weeks ago, about a black, six legged dog running after me... *shivers*

Questions from your GM
-Who are you and how are you doing? I'm myself, most of the time, and I'm fine today, thankies for asking. I'm french, I play multiple game here and GM some, as GM Lil"Eschie.

-How often do you tend to post? Daily, as much as possible

-What kind of tone are you looking for in this game? Never played that AP, so I'm in with an open mind..

-What do you expect out of your fellow players? respect, courtesy and having fun.

-What do you expect out of me (the GM)? see previous answer

-What is your comfort zone? Where's the line for you in RP terms? I'm confortable with most things. This is a game, not reality.

-How do you see your character progressing as a character? Someone who enjoy life, and does her best to help.

Can't resist me a Salsa pitch :) **Waves to Lady Ladile, Choon, El Ronza et al**

Am pitching Jerukh Hörnungr - a Half-Orc Alchemist (Ragechemist)

@Vigney - Wow, twin is right! Now I kinda wish the two of them could be in a game together, as improbable as such a thing would be. I'm also kinda glad that I'm not the only one who had that general idea, to be honest.

Ha! Yes! I did play in a campaign where my character and another were twin sisters. It was incredibly fun! Sadly it would be really hard to get a package deal set of characters into a PbP here. Who knows though, Laufey isn't in anything right now, and in any case I'm not adverse to reusing characters that I like.

In any case, if Vigny and Soliana were both in the campaign they would have some commonalities, both are Ulfen, but grew up elsewhere. Both are disconnected from their ethnic heritage in that sense. Vigny could tutor Soliana in Skald, although I'm sure Vigny's use is very rusty and bad by now.

Seems to be my summer of Ulfen women with swords and subpar childhoods. I have two right now between Vigny and Laufey.

And you guys just keep coming. o_O

I really am happy for the response that I've gotten. It's going to be fun reading through everyone's submissions. I wish I could run two or three tables, but sadly, I don't have the time.

@Black Dow: Yep, you can take that at first level.

Just a heads up, there is now 35 hours to post your dot in this thread. You'll have a week to polish off your character and answer the questions.

Here's a placeholder profile for Black Dow's Half Orc Alchemist...

@Salsa: Sweet on the Additional Traits... Have answered the 20 Questions and GM's quizzers below. The deeper questions will be answered as I build the character and fill in his gaps (also why I'm holding off his appearance etc to any great depth at present) - all of this will be spoilered in the profile also when I get his crunch nailed down.

20 QUESTIONS

What is your character’s name?: Jerukh Hörnungr
How old is your character?: 24 years (he does not know his exact age)
What would somebody see at first glance (i.e. height, weight, skin color, eye color, hair color, physique, race, and visible equipment)?: A tall, hulking half-orc with blond hair and Varisian tattoos.
What additional attributes would be noticed upon meeting the character (i.e. Speech, mannerisms)?: Jerukh has a mighty chip upon his broad shoulders. He tends to be blunt and defensive with his conversation, something he is oft chided for. When deep in thought or indecisive, he has a “tell” where he repeatedly taps his tusk with a calloused thumb.
Where was your character born?: Riddleport
Where were you raised?: As a child - Riddleport, then on the road.
By who?: Jerukh was orphaned as a very young child, and remembers little of his mother save her gold coloured hair and warm smile. He was a street child and waif in Riddleport, doing minor gang-work for the corpulent half-orc crime leader Boss Croat. Koya saved him both from the streets and a beckoning life as a career criminal - she took him under her wing and into her life and family.
Who are your parents?: He knows his mother was an Ulfen sailor by the name of Hildr, but he knows little else of her. According to the street tattle the half-orc hush-man (Riddleport assassin) Veygor Veiled-Hand, was rumoured to he his father. As a child he would agree with the story to afford better respect amongst the other urchins, but now he cares little for the tale or the truth.
Are they alive?: Mother - no. Killed in Riddleport when he was but a young child. A blood feud between rival Ulfen freebooter crews bubbled to the surface in one of the Wharf district taverns. Hildr was a victim of the ensuing mayhem. The surviving Northman cared little for the half-breed child christening him ”Hörnungr” (which means fatherless bastard in the Skald tongue) - a name which stuck, and which he still carries to remind him of that past life and those lost to it. As for his father - who knows. The career of a “hush-man” is typically short and brutal. Although the caravan passes through Riddleport thrice a year, Jerukh has never sought information on his rumoured father.
What do they do for a living?: His mother was a sailor and freebooter from the Lands of the Linnorm kings in the North. His (rumoured) father - an enforcer and assassin for a Riddleport crime boss.
Do you have any other family or friends?: Koya is his mother now. She raised him and taught him to harness his natural aptitudes. Another of Koya’s redeemed orphans - Sandru Vhiski is both an erstwhile older brother and friend to the young half-orc.
What is your character’s marital status? Single.
Kids?: None. As a would be adventurer the thought of leaving another orphan to the world (should he die) makes Jerukh sick.
What is your character’s alignment?: Chaotic Good
What is your character’s moral code?: Protect those close to you, even unto death. Those under the yoke of slavery and subjection- be it abject or figurative, should be vindicated where possible.
Does your character have goals?: To adventure. To find himself and his true belonging.
Is your character religious?: He is a follower of Desna, appreciating her adherence to freedom and luck - tenets he holds close to his heart.
What are your character’s personal beliefs?: Should you face death, do so with freedom in your heart and soul. Follow your own compass, your own path - not one set by kings or tyrants.
Does your character have any personality quirks (i.e. anti-social, arrogant, optimistic, paranoid)?: Can come across as defensive and somewhat churlish to those he does not know.
Why does your character adventure?: Travelling with Koya and Sandru’s caravan has sparked the half-orc’s wanderlust.
How does your character view his/her role as an adventurer?: As aspiring alchemist and catechumen cook Jerukh sees his role both as reinforcer and nourisher to those around him.
Does your character have any distinguishing marks (birth-marks, scars, deformities)?: As a half-orc his hulking size and tusks are somewhat distinguishing. However his mother’s gift of golden hair is very unusual for one who is orc-blooded.
How does your character get along with others?: Despite his hardened exterior Jerukh recognises that it is better to be part of something - a family, a company, a group - than to be alone. As such he tries hard to be a good friend to those folk persistent enough to overcome his emotional armour.
Is there anything that your character hates?: He has little love of the Ulfen. Despite his mother being from the North, he begrudges the lack of care he received from her kith and kin upon Hildr’s death, and curses that she was taken from him by their brutal honour system. He keeps his condemning surname gifted by those Northman from his childhood as a reminder of who he was, and what they took from him.
Is there anything that your character fears?: Losing control. Whilst his alchemical mutagen imbues him with great strength, his senses are dulled and his instincts baser… as a half orc that monstrous part of his nature scares him.

Questions from your GM
-Who are you and how are you doing?: I’m Gary - Black Dow is my nom du guerre on these here boards. I’m doing fine thanks Salsa - and you?
-How often do you tend to post?: I intend to post at least once/day.
-What kind of tone are you looking for in this game?: I’m easy. I’ll roll with the tone and feel set out by your goodself if I’m lucky enough to be selected.
-What do you expect out of your fellow players?: Investment and interplay in the game. Too often games can devolve into a series of tried and tested tropes on both sides of the online table. When players invest time and effort to really bring their characters to “virtual” life I think the whole game lifts as a result. I’m not just talking persona and voice here - little things like attention to detail - case in point: I’ve been “quartermaster” for a couple of games here on the boards and it can be a trial getting folks to pick loot and select realistic items that their characters would jump at (particularly trinkets and flavour items) - sadly too oft they have eyes just on gold coin value and the magic items they can “buy” as a result… but then maybe that’s just me and my grand expectations (re: delusions) :)
-What do you expect out of me (the GM)?: To run a fun game and bring the world and its threats/rewards/flavour alive. (Which based on previous I know you can deliver!)
-What is your comfort zone? Where's the line for you in RP terms?: I’m a world weary adult and hard bitten Scotsman so not much shocks me lol. Seriously I’ll draw the line at grim-dark style gaming. Real life can be bleak enough without it being on the boards also. Again though I’d take my cue from fellow players and the GM.
-How do you see your character progressing as a character?: Good question. I’m running an alchemist as I’ve never played one before, and this seems as good an opportunity as any! Depending on the direction of the game and the party build I’m happy to stay vanilla or diverse with the odd multiclass dip as needbe.

Couldn't find a very good avatar for her but here is Yulai Kaijitsu, Ameiko's adopted little sister.

Everything is in the alias, I only answered the second batch of questions, I may still try to get the first set done, though I'm not sure just yet.

I believe Syeira's math is complete. If I've made any mistakes, please let me know, as this is the first time I've worked with fractional bonuses.

20 Questions about Syeira:
What is your character’s name?
"Syeira Mavashti of Sandpoint."
How old is your character?
"About 26. I'm not sure about specifics, but I was found as a baby 26 years ago, so it's the closest thing to an age I've got."
What would somebody see at first glance (i.e. height, weight, skin color, eye color, hair color, physique, race, and visible equipment)?
"A petite Varisian woman, about five feet and 3 inches, with a charming, curvaceous, 125 lb figure. Once you go past that, the otherworldliness really starts to show. The golden undertones of my olive skin, how my blonde hair can almost be painful to look at in full sunlight (which is why I try to keep it covered), my blue eyes that literally sparkle like sapphires, that sort of thing. I prefer clothes that let me show off my tattoos and curves, and one of my most treasured possessions (besides the Harrow deck) is the kapenia that Koya gifted to me when I came of age. It's so long I can wear it almost like a cloak, and it has a multitude of stories stitched into its patches. I always keep my Harrow deck close at hand, of course, or in its case when travelling. I NEVER let it out of my sight. I'm more effective with magic than martial pursuits, but Koya's encouraged me to at least take a decent spear with me while I travel out of town as I start my adventuring career."
What additional attributes would be noticed upon meeting the character (i.e. Speech, mannerisms)?
"Others have told me I've got this spooky stare where I seem to look THROUGH them rather than at them, and once I became aware of it, I felt like I could SEE into the skein of fate for the person I was looking at and...I don't know, twist it? I've been practicing it, and I'm fairly certain it'd help in battle. I also keep my cards very close to my chest. Literally. These cards are priceless, and I'd never let ANYONE else touch them!"
Where was your character born?
"I have no idea, but it must have been somewhere near Sandpoint, since that's where I was found. There was a Szcarni caravan passing by then, so perhaps I was born among them."
Where were you raised?
"Right here in Sandpoint, the best small town in Varisia, maybe in all the world!"
By who?
"Initially both Koya and Niska Mvashti, but after Niska's passing Koya continued to raise me herself, and the Vhiski brothers have always been like big brothers to me, even if Sandru and Jubrayl don't get along anymore.
Who are your parents?
"I never met my parents. Koya found me in a bush outside Sandpoint when I was a baby."
Are they alive?
"I have no clue, and honestly don't care. If they WERE Szcarni like Koya suspects, they may still be out there. If that's true, I wouldn't mind meeting them on the road, though I'd probably have more than a few choice words."
What do they do for a living?
If they were Szcarni, they likely swindled or robbed settled folk the way Szcarni do. Though given my celestial blood, maybe one of them was a sorcerer or a priest, and they weren't criminals at all."
Do you have any other family or friends?
"The Vhiski brothers are essentially my brothers, though I'm probably closer with Sandru than Jubrayl. And since any friend of Sandru's is a friend of mine, of course I consider Ameiko Kaijitsu almost like the big sister I never had. Though I sometimes worry about her when I read the cards. She's had a lot of sadness in her life, what with her brother going mad with hate and murdering their father, burning down the Glassworks with it and almost destroying Sandpoint, but it looks like there'll only be more strife to come for her before she finally finds peace. I hope to be there when that day comes, and to help her reach it. Her friend Shalelu's a mystery to me, but she's got a good heart and a keen eye, and that's enough to know for now."
What is your character’s marital status?
"Currently single, though that's not to say some of the local lads haven't tried. I've rebuffed them though. It's not in the cards for now.
Kids?
"No, but I do want some down the line, whether the fruit of my own womb or adopted like I was."
What is your character’s alignment?
"I always try to do what's right by people, but the future's a shifting thing and what "right" is changes with it. I try to figure out what people NEED rather than what they want. Sometimes that's encouragement. Sometimes that's holding them back from doing something they'll regret. Sometimes it's just a good ol'-fashioned @#$%-kicking. Whatever their destiny may be."
What is your character’s moral code?
"I'm no paladin, but like I said, I try to do what's right. Fate is...well, it's complicated. Things are fixed and...not fixed? At the same time. So I do what I can to try and nudge things to the best outcome, whether that's for myself, or others. The only hard and fast rule is the old Harrower wisdom: NEVER look into your own destiny. It brings too much temptation to try and change your own fate, and that leads to people doing desperate and dangerous things that can break yourself, break others, or even break the whole world. I see enough of the fates of others that I'm comfortable letting mine ride along theirs."
Does your character have goals?
"Well, I'm finally achieving my dream of going on an adventure, even if it's just pest-control in the swamps outside town. I also want become a better Harrower to unlock the true power of our ancestral Harrow Deck. I can FEEL the power thrumming in the cards, waiting to be released, but I'm not sure HOW yet..."
Is your character religious?
"I'd say I'm about as religious as the average Varisian, maybe even moreso, given my mother's a priestess to Desna. The other deities they worship in the Cathedral are each important, but the Song of the Spheres will always have a special place in my heart, as the fickle finger that guides fortune along. He-hee! Like that? "Fickle Finger of Fortune?" Alliteration's fun."
What are your character’s personal beliefs?
"Everyone's got a destiny, but it's not always clear what that IS. You can only tell so much from the Harrow, and you sometimes have to look and see how what someone does affects the threads. I like to use that information, help weave it in the right direction...or cut it, if it looks like the world'd be better off without that person. I'm no Sarenite, and even THEY believe some self-centered louts are beyond help and need to be put in the ground so they don't hurt anyone else. Most people aren't like that, though. Sometimes they just need to be gently nudged in the right direction, OR smacked in the face to snap them out of it."
Does your character have any personality quirks (i.e. anti-social, arrogant, optimistic, paranoid)?
"I will read the Harrow for almost anyone, whether they ask for it or not, so I can learn more about who they are and what they're like. Sometimes I'll do it even before introducing myself, since I kind of regard it as my first impression of them, and first impressions are always important. And if someone thinks the first impression I give is weird? Then good! That's what I was going for! The weird little lady with the Harrow deck! People have often called me almost too confident for my own good, but that's just because I look ahead, whether into fate or just down the road, so I always know how best to deal with something."
Why does your character adventure?
"In this instance? To clear out those goblins before they burn something down in Sandpoint with those fireworks they got their paws on. In a more general sense? Because it can make the world a better place, and I want to be in the place where I can do the most good for the most people, and often the only career that lets you do that is adventuring. I mean, just look at the Sandpoint heroes who saved the town from that goblin attack four years ago!"
How does your character view his/her role as an adventurer?
"My role shifts with whatever my allies need. I've spells that can protect and heal, but also weaken and harm. Koya also spared no expense when it came to my education, so I know things about a wide variety of topics, from herbs and animals, to the secrets of magic and the gods, to the tales of my ancestors."
Does your character have any distinguishing marks (birth-marks, scars, deformities)?
"I was wondering when you'd mention the tattoos! They symbolize my role as a Harrower and storyteller. The colors kind of clash...violet for intuition and divine insight, and green for wisdom, but that makes them all the more eye-catching, no?"
How does your character get along with others?
"Very well, thank you! I make sure to consult the cards to get a better idea of who a person is and where they're going, so I know how to get along best with them, and helping people feels pretty good for the most part."
Is there anything that your character hates?
"I can't stand people who think they've got a right to walk all over others due to immaterial things like status or privilege. A turn of fate can render all of that meaningless in an instant, and people arrogant enough to think otherwise DESERVE to be knocked down a peg. And those who are arrogant enough to think that they can actively DEFY fate and the natural order of things? They're even WORSE. They're right up there with demons and devils as things that can hurt themselves, others or the entire world, and who need to be taught a lesson. Whether or not that lesson's lethal depends on how horrible they are.
Is there anything that your character fears?
"Probably my biggest fear is losing those closest to me, especially Koya. I owe everything to her, and I want to help her achieve her dream of going on one last grand journey. I'd never forgive myself if we went off and she got herself killed because I wasn't there for her like she'd been all those times for me."

GM Questions:
Who are you and how are you doing?
Name's Jacob, though I go by Archpaladin Zousha in my internet wanderings. I'm doing FANTASTIC, since I just got back from a week-long vacation in Ireland, the land of my ancestors!
How often do you tend to post?
I try to post daily, and I take my PbP commitments VERY seriously!
What kind of tone are you looking for in this game?
I'd say the tone Jade Regent seems to present is one of a good ol'-fashioned High Fantasy in the vein of The Lord of the Rings, journeying across the world, with a healthy helping of Princess Mononoke, Marco Polo's Livres des Merveilles du Monde, and The Icelandic Sagas, coupled with the stories we forge as characters, especially given how the NPCs and how they interact are so important to the Adventure Path!
What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Commitment first and foremost. It's an awkward hang-up for me, but it bugs me when people drop out in the middle of the story and some stranger joins up in the middle of it. I kinda feel like it messes up story arcs, if that makes any sense. And speaking of story arcs, I really wanna engage with other players and their characters, as well as with the NPCs. I find that that's half the story of any AP, and arguably becomes more interesting than the plot of the AP itself.
What do you expect out of me (the GM)?
Again, commitment first and foremost. I'm in for the long haul and wanna see this AP to the end, so I expect the same from you.
What is your comfort zone? Where's the line for you in RP terms?
I wouldn't say I'm squeamish, but I really don't like stories that get oppressively dark or mean-spirited. I don't like explicit descriptions of torture or sexual violence (though I understand these things can HAPPEN in the story, I prefer it to be "off-screen"). When it comes to "love scenes" I prefer to "fade to black."
How do you see your character progressing as a character?
Syeira's gunning for the Harrower prestige class, so she'll be taking levels of Witch until she qualifies around 5th level, taking Harrower at 6th and pursuing it to completion, then returning to Witch for any remaining levels.

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

Dot!

I'm not positive I'll be able to finish in time but this sounds fun. I don't know for sure what I'm going to try building but I'm thinking maybe a Varisian bladed scarf dancer magus who's friends with the Mvashti family.

I'm still working on my spiritualist and his phantom. I have a pretty good idea of his backstory and personality, but I still need to fill out the GM's questionnaire and finish up the mechanical aspects of the character. Also he needs a last name, I just can't come up with one that I like :)

Well I would like to throw in a last minute dot :)
I doubt I got much chance what with the sheer number of applications but what the heck, I would love the chance to create a spherecaster :)

So my submission will be some sort of old(ish), Incanter with a focus on the Telekinesis Sphere and some dabbling in the Warp Sphere and maybe a bit of healing. We will see where it goes from there.
His casting stat will be Int and I will be giving him the Brusing Intelect trait as he can be a bit crockety sometimes.

I'm making a Hunter with a Giant Mantis companion :)

Scarab Sages

I haven't the time to complete an entry, so I withdraw my dot.

Traits
Friend of the Family (Campaign): Koya; Your family has been close friends with the Mvashtis for as long as you’ve been alive. Old Niska Mvashti’s recent death wasn’t all that unexpected— she must have been over a hundred years old, as far as you know—but it was a sobering moment nonetheless. What no one else in your family knows, though, is that in the weeks before her death, Niska must have known that her days were numbered, because she called you to her house one day and made you make a promise: If her daughter Koya ever went on a long trip, you would go with her to ensure her safety. Although the chances of Koya going on a long trip seem remote (she must be at least 60 years old, after all), you’ve made a promise to Niska to accompany her daughter if such an event comes to pass. Ever since you made this promise, you’ve felt a strange sense of destiny looming in your future—you might even think that Niska is now watching over your shoulder, just as she asked you to watch over her daughter. As a result of this eerie sense of being watched over, you’ve been able to react to dangerous situations more quickly than ever. As long as Koya remains alive, you gain a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks, and Perception becomes a class skill for you. In addition, you gain a +1 trait bonus on all attack rolls against foes that threaten Koya.
Unscathed (Magic): You add 2 to all energy resistances
Ease of Faith (Faith): Your mentor, the tribe's Shaman, took steps to ensure that you understood that what powers your divine magic is no different than that which powers the magic of other religions. This philosophy makes it easier for you to interact with others who may not share your views. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy checks, and Diplomacy is always a class skill for you.

SQ
Eidolon: Can summon his eidolon in a ritual that takes 1 minute to perform. Its hp are the same as the last time it was dismissed or banished, unless it was slain, in which case it returns with ½ its normal hp. It does not heal naturally. It may be dismissed as a standard action. If it is slain, it cannot be summoned again until the following day. It cannot be sent back by dispel magic, but dismissal and banishment work normally.
Life Link: Whenever the eidolon takes enough damage to send it back to its home plain, he may sacrifice any number of hp, which prevent 1 point of damage done to the eidolon each. This can prevent the eidolon from being sent back to its home plane.
In addition, he and the eidolon must remain within 100 ft of each other for it to remain at full health. If the eidolon is from 100 ft to 1,000 ft, it current and maximum hp totals are reduced by 50%. If it is from 1,000 ft to 10,000 ft, its current and maximum hp totals are reduced by 75%. If it is more than 10,000 ft away, it immediately returns to its home plane. Current hp lost in this way are not restored when the eidolon gets closer to him, but its maximum hp does return to normal.
Spirit: Stone; He forms a mystical bond with a stone spirit. He gains the spirit ability and uses his Summoner level as his Shaman level for determining its effects. He can select spells granted by the spirit as Summoner spells known, using the Shaman level of the spell as the Summoner spell level. He cannot select spirit spells that are above 6th level.
At 9th level, he gains the abilities listed in the greater version of his selected spirit.
At 17th level, he gains the abilities listed for the true version of his selected spirit.
This ability replaces summon monster.

Link: He and his master share a mental link which allows for communication across any distance on the same plane. This is a free action, allowing his master to give him orders at any time. In addition, magic items interfere with their connection. As a result, they share magic item slots. In case of a conflict, items worn by the summoner remain active, and those used by the eidolon become dormant.
Share Spells: The summoner may cast a spell with a target of “you” on his eidolon (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on himself. A summoner may cast spells on his eidolon even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the eidolon’s type (outsider). Spells cast in this way must come from the summoner spell list. This does not allow the eidolon to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

Description & Background:
A member of the Shundar-Quah (Spire Clan), he has a rune of Kokip (Sentinel) on his forehead, matching that of his god. While at first glance he looks much the same as any other Shoanti, if you look more closely you can see a glint of divine light in his deep black eyes. When he calls his Eidolon the rune-tattoo on his forehead burns with the light of the mid-day sun.

Age: 75
Hair: Sandy Brown
Eyes: Obsidian
Skin: Weathered, Dark Tan
Height: 5ft, 6in
Weight: 130lbs

History:
Listen, and I will tell you three truths. A tale of What Was, a tale of What Is, and a tale of What Will Be.

I was born in the Year of the Wasting Storms to the Shundar-Quah, what the Interlopers call the Spire Clan of Shoanti. Families throughout our territory came to see me, as mine was a very auspicious birth. As you can see, I have a birth-tattoo of the Kokip rune upon my brow, and the Shaman declared that I was fated to be a God-Caller. I would be a living link to the Avatar of our god, bringing great prosperity to the clan. But he had another augury about me that he told only the Eldest…

Mine was a long childhood. I remember Niska visiting us with her baby daughter Koya. We played together while the Eldest consulted with the wise woman. They left shortly after, and the next time Koya and I met, she was almost a young woman while I had barely changed. It has been that way all my life, watching friends and family grow old and die before I was mature enough to take my Rite of Manhood. The Shaman died before he could see his prophecy come true, the glorious day that Kokip, the Stone Serpent revealed himself to me.

That is What Was.

I started my new life as the Chosen of our god and Kokip and I fought many enemies of our Clan. Kokip has given me the power to channel the blood of the earth to destroy any who would threaten us. But it is not all about fighting. The Shundar-Quah seeks to make peace between all of the Clans, and the mere presence of Kokip and I have made many of the other Clans pay attention to the calls to meet and talk together as brothers when otherwise they might not.

I met Niska and Koya several more times and always followed their advice, which proved to our benefit. The last time I saw them, Niska took me aside and made me swear a promise to aid her daughter, no matter what she asked. When I heard that Koya was seeking to take a journey out into the world, I knew that I had to join her, even though it means leaving my home. Most of the Clan do not want me to leave, they say that my people need me more than some Interloper, but the Eldest overruled them and told them I must go. He said that a prophecy from a Shaman had been passed down from Eldest to Eldest for as long as I had been alive. He would not say what the Shaman had foreseen, but the look in his eyes frightened me.
So, I have come here and will journey with my “little sister” Koya as long as she needs me.

That Is What Is.

Since the day that I awakened to my destiny, I have never been alone. The God of our tribe is always with me, even when he is not physically in this world. Although he can only manifest a small piece of his divine might right now, as I continue my devotion and prayers, he will reveal more of his power. One day he will be powerful enough to sweep the evil from this land, and only the pure of heart will remain.

That is What Will Be…

Twenty questions to help you create a backstory for your character:

What is your character’s name?
Rokkad

How old is your character?
75 years

What would somebody see at first glance (i.e. height, weight, skin color, eye color, hair color, physique, race, and visible equipment)?
He is 5ft, 6in and 130lbs, with weathered, dark tan skin, obsidian eyes, and sandy brown hair. This member of the Shundar-Quah (Spire Clan) of the Shoanti has a slim, athletic build and a birthmark of the Kokip (Sentinel) symbol on his forehead. He wears animal hide armor, rough but expertly stitched, and carries a short spear. Most of the rest of his equipment is found on the back of his horse.

What additional attributes would be noticed upon meeting the character (i.e. Speech, mannerisms)?
He speaks the common tongue with a slight Shoanti accent and is soft-spoken. He is wary around those not of his people until they have proven themselves trustworthy. Like all Shoanti, he was almost born in the saddle and is very caring and protective of his horse.

Where was your character born?
In a small village along the Yondabakari River on the edge of the Cinderlands.

Where were you raised?
For the first couple of decades as he slowly aged through his childhood, he stayed in the village with his parents. Once he was old enough, he apprenticed to a shaman of a larger nomadic group which followed the auroch herds.

By who?
Raised by his parents at first, they grew too old to take care of the perpetual child and he was passed on to the Shaman, who finished his education and taught him until he took the Rite of Manhood.

Who are your parents?
His parents were an unremarkable couple, Klamath and Tamakah. They found their status improved by having such an auspicious child and his father was especially proud, at least at first. He found it difficult at time went on not being able to connect as well as other fathers did with their sons due to Rokkad’s slow aging.

Are they alive?
No, his father died in a battle against the Interlopers long ago, and his mother died of old age shortly after his Rite of Manhood.

What do they do for a living?
His father was a warrior, hunting the aurochs for food and hides most of the time and making war on those who intruded on the tribe's lands. His mother tanned the hides, making armor and clothing for the tribe.

Do you have any other family or friends?
He had one other older brother, also dead. His brother had children, but he has not had contact with his nieces, nephews or any grand-nieces or -nephews they may have had.

What is your character’s marital status?
He has never been married.

Kids?
None.

What is your character’s alignment?
Neutral Good

What is your character’s moral code?
He was brought up to always honor his word, but to give it rarely. He helps those in need if they deserve it, but believes that most people must try to help themselves first, for if something is given it does not have much worth. The true value lies in earning something through your own efforts.

Does your character have goals?
His tribe's duty is to make peace between all the tribes and he believes in this, that all of them must work together or perish. He wishes to see his people united and free, taking back their ancestral lands, but realizes that may not be possible. If this cannot be achieved, he would compromise by arranging a peace that the Shoanti and the Interlopers share the land equally.

Is your character religious?
He believes in the spirits of his ancestors and the land. More than that, he has proof in the form of Kokip, the avatar of one of their gods who comes when he calls and aids him as long as he proves himself worthy.

What are your character’s personal beliefs?
He believes himself a channel for his gods work on Golarion, on a righteous crusade.

Does your character have any personality quirks (i.e. anti-social, arrogant, optimistic, paranoid)?
He is a bit suspicious of people he meets, needing them to prove themselves. He tends to be polite to anyplace or thing that he thinks has a guardian spirit, to placate them and stay in harmony with the spirit world.

Why does your character adventure?
Because he gave his word to Niska to aid Koya and because of his affection for her.

How does your character view his/her role as an adventurer?
He is the voice of reason and cooperation when meeting new people, and the voice of an angry god if they threaten him or those under his care...

Does your character have any distinguishing marks (birth-marks, scars, deformities)?
He has a birthmark of the Kokip rune on his forehead matching one on his eidolon, which glows when he calls upon him.

How does your character get along with others?
He is reserved at first, but is able to work with others as long as they show themselves honorable and worth trusting.

Is there anything that your character hates?
Injustice, lies, and those who prey on the innocent.

Is there anything that your character fears?
He secretly fears that he will not be able to live up to the faith and expectations of all those around him. That he will not be able to unite the tribes and fail at his destiny.

Questions from your GM:

-Who are you and how are you doing?
My name is Mark and I am doin' fine, thank you!

-How often do you tend to post?
I usually check in a few times each day, and try to post at least once per day, more often if others are posting faster or there is something that is heavily involving my character.

-What kind of tone are you looking for in this game?
Mostly dramatic adventure, with some occasional light-hearted humor.

-What do you expect out of your fellow players?
To be respectful of the other players and GM and have fun with it!

-What do you expect out of me (the GM)?
The most important thing to me is having fun. You should be enjoying the game as much as we do, and it shouldn't become a burden. Followed closely behind that is communication. I want to keep going with this game at a good pace and hopefully finish the AP, but I know things happen. Even just a quick "I'm sick/tired/on vacation/etc." can go a long way towards keeping a game alive. If the GM shows that they are still invested, there can be pauses (even long ones) without everyone losing interest.

-What is your comfort zone? Where's the line for you in RP terms?
I don't know, I haven't found it yet. ;)
Seriously, the only thing I can think of that might make me a bit uncomfortable would be extreme sexual situation, which I think will probably not be a problem in this game.

-How do you see your character progressing as a character?
Coming to terms with his destiny. It is a heavy burden, being told all your (long) life that you are the chosen one and you must fulfill some task. He puts up a brave face and acts like he is in control, but in the end he doesn't know if he has what it takes.

Profile and character coming together - as his background and motivation have developed I'm dropping the stereotypical Rage Chemist for the Chirurgeon archetype...

dot

SCKnightHero1 here and I'm done with my character. Still working out the 20 questions for deep character development, but I think most of those questions were answered in the background, description, and personality sections of my character's profile.

I'll go ahead and answer the questions from the GM:

Answers to the GM's Questions:

-Who are you and how are you doing?
I'm SCKnightHero1 (and yes the SC stands for South Carolina ;P ), and I'm doing good right now.

-How often do you tend to post?
I tend to try and post as often as I can. Some days I might not able to post due to work or other things, but I try to post at twice a day if possible. I usually do more than that though, so that's really a minimum for me.

-What kind of tone are you looking for in this game?
Action-filled, adventure-filled, maybe some humor tossed in for good measure.

-What do you expect out of your fellow players?
That we treat each other with respect as well as help each other out.

-What do you expect out of me (the GM)?
That you make this adventure fun and exciting for us.

-What is your comfort zone? Where's the line for you in RP terms?
Right now, since I'm playing a character who isn't interested in romance (romance would be involved with my half-orc druidess, but I decided to play a rogue since I've played pretty much every class except that one), I'm okay with a game that's PG-13. Nothing rated X now! This is D&D...errr...Pathfinder, not Fifty Shades of Gray here!

-How do you see your character progressing as a character?

Hm...I see him progressing a lot as a rogue, but also discovering his family's pious side of things. I'll probably pick up a level or two (or even three) of cleric or paladin (stonelord archetype) in order to aid the party with some extra melee and or healing abilities. Besides, rogue/paladin characters are great! Because...well, Smite Evil + Sneak Attack = A ton of damage against the bad guys! Yahoo!

Okay, I think that's everybody. If I missed you (more likely than I'd like to admit) then holler at me, and I'll get you added.

WARNING!
As of this post, you have 2 hours and ten minutes to get your dot in. After that, you'll have until next Monday to complete your submission.

I'm in, but I might need to make some adjustments. I had so much fun with Tshilaba the last time I played him, I just gotta try again.

Technically, Card Caster and Eldritch Scion don't stack, so my original build is invalid. But I am looking at other builds possibly, so we'll go with whatever I can come up with.

30 minutes left

I'd like to swap Imoya for Eoth.
That is all.

And no more new dots, Sorry if you didn't make it.

To the rest of you, I'll have the current list up in a bit. I'll be sending PMs out to all of you that haven't posted more than a concept tomorrow to see who's still in.

You'll have until next Monday to get your submission in. I'll close recruitment and make selections after that. Throughout the week I'll be checking everybody's submissions and letting you know what's missing. Note that you may change what character you are submitting if you wish up until the deadline Monday.

@Bringer of Stories: Perfectly fine. I'll note it in the list

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

I'm reasonably sure I'm going to apply with a human(Varisian) bladed scarf dancer magus. I'm about to PM you a question about a second archetype.

Bah! Time kept getting away from me this week. It's fine though. I think the concept I was working on got muddied in the process. Good luck everyone.

R0B0GEISHA here, presenting Saiyeth Innisi, zen archer and friend to Ameiko. As an ascetic monk, she struggles between the trappings of her wealthy family and the teachings of her politically-radical masters.

I'm still working on the Deep Dive and GM questions, which will be found later inside the alias.

Thanks for any consideration!

Background:
Born and raised in Oppara, Saiyeth Inissi (sai-YETH ih-NEE-SEE) is the daughter of a minor Taldan noble family. The Innisi's chose to come to the Varisia to set up mercantile trade and renew the family’s vitality as well as its coffers. They brought their youngest daughter, Saiyeth, with them. Saiyeth was unhappy to leave behind bustling city life, but found joy in the company of Ameiko, daughter of the patriarch of one of the Sandpoint’s four noble houses. They grew up together and quickly became friends.

When her Ameiko left town to take up adventuring, Saiyeth became directionless. She relied upon her friend’s zest for life and bold outlook. Saiyeth had become increasingly bothered by her family’s motivations over the years. Everything was about wealth; nothing but political maneuvering and machinations designed to fill their coffers. Saiyeth was convinced that life was more than that, believing that one had to do something to help improve the lives of the people around you in order to truly matter. In a pique of rebellion, she ran off and joined a nearby monastery. There Saiyeth trained in the art of the bow, studied alchemy and philosophy, and resisted the lure of the material world.

She remained with the monks for three years, unaware that Ameiko had returned to town only a year after first setting off on her adventures. When Saiyeth decided it was time to take herself back out into the world to make a difference, she returned to find her best friend again. She also found her parents ready to take her back into the fold. She refused, mostly. While able to resist the lure of material things in the relative seclusion of the monastery, temptation was much harder to fight back in the lap of luxury. She maintained her ascetic ways, keeping her head shaved and wearing only the robes of her order. However, her doting parents bought her a robe of much better cut and material, and her mother made sure she had fashionable jewelry to accessorize with. Her father gifted her with a much finer bow than the one the monks had given her. Saiyeth began to rationalize these things, saying to herself that she could do much more to protect the helpless with the fine bow, and surely the rich robe would outlast one of more common cut and material. And the jewelry was… so pretty. She took some of the coin that her parents gave her to get tattoos. While she was enduring the pain of the needle, she had an epiphany. Should she
stay here much longer, she would slide back into the role of decadent nobility. She resolved herself to take the next opportunity to go abroad and use her skills for the greater good.

Personality:
Saiyeth is a passionate and caring individual. She does what she can to insure that those around her are spared from unnecessary suffering. Power is meant to protect the helpless and preserve the social order for the benefit of all. She truly believes that her monastic training is a path to being a better individual, and thereby a path to secure a better world.

However, Saiyeth is not without her temptations. She likes comfort and pretty things—desires deeply ingrained during the pampered life of a child of noble birth. She tries to deny herself excesses, convinced that they make her stray from the path of enlightenment, but easily rationalizes creature comforts.

Her struggle to put aside her pampered past occupies much of Saiyeth’s time. When in areas where goods are readily available and she has coin to spend, she often finds it difficult to resist temptation. Being in a marketplace with her fellow adventurers can be quite the trial. If one with more thief-like tendencies decides to collect a memento and Saiyeth notices, she can easily assuage her own guilt by putting the theft right and paying a merchant for something her friend filches. If they’re shopping, though, then things are much more difficult. That jewelry is just so, so lovely…

While aware of the greed that her family and others display, Saiyeth has not been exposed to much of the cheating and underhanded dealings associated with money. While she is aware of the abstract concept, she has little experience with such things. This may cause her to be targeted by grifters—or worse—who play upon her good nature.

Appearance:
Saiyeth is a tall, lithe woman, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. She keeps her head shaved according to the traditions of her order, which allows prominent display of the designs tattooed upon her forehead: runes from the old ruins around town that she thought attractive. Her blue eyes are bright and expressive, and she usually wears robes dyed in colors to match, sleeveless so as to show off the serpentine dragon tattoos that wrap her left arm and shoulder.

Bah! Time kept getting away from me this week. It's fine though. I think the concept I was working on got muddied in the process. Good luck everyone.

You still have a week. I was just closing it to new applicants.

With so few applicants, I can't imagine why you would want to do that =_

This is sr pitching Reiko - a poet-warrior (cast in the form of a Ronin Samurai who will be multiclassing with Monk). She is a fast, lightly armored, katana-mistress with a strongly philosophic bent and a love of the arts.

I'm still working through her crunch but here is some of the fluffy goodness...

Appearance:

Female Human (Tian-Dan) 5'9" ; 140 lbs ; 24 years

Reiko is a reasonably tall, slender but muscled, and mature Tien woman with long jet hair and dark eyes that are bright with intelligence and quiet wisdom. She is a study in opposites. Her dark skin and ruddy complexion make it clear that she is from peasant stock - not the aristocracy - and has spent many years out-of-doors. Were she nude, the fading whip scars across her back would speak loudly to her low-born past. But her back is most often sheathed in the expensive silks of a scholar - a midnight blue robe wrapped with a rich blue obi around which is knotted a long red silk rope that secures a lacquered blade scabbard at a rakish angle. And here the contrast is greatest, the peasant/scholar carries herself with an almost military poise and her slender fingers are never far from the tsuba of the well-used katana at her side. Her delicate hands seem as ready to hold a quill as a long killing blade. She is a contrast of silk and steel.

Backstory:

Reiko was raised a slave, working the rice paddies of a large estate. Years spent wading through the mud flats in oppressive heat strengthened her physically and emotionally. And it likely would have been all that could be said of her life, but for a turn of fate. Reiko was tough but also clever, and her one leisure passion was crafting poems (Artistry: Poetry). Being illiterate, Reiko worked on her poems aloud while she worked. One day, Yi Sun, the estate's master, overheard the girl while he was visiting the fields. Much as slaves were beneath his notice, he was also an active patron of the arts. Something in the girl's poem intrigued him enough to alter her fate. While she still worked the fields in the summer months, in the rainy season she was tutored along with his son, Yi Qin, in the arts.

Reiko proved to be more than an adept student and a good companion to Yi Qin. When he struggled with other subjects, Reiko was given the opportunity to study those subjects and work with the boy. Over the course of years, their friendship grew as did Reiko's skills as a poet. Eventually, with a little pressure from Yi Qin, Reiko was given her freedom.

As a free woman, Reiko had greater opportunities but some doors were still closed to her. So it was a good thing that dogged tenacity was a hallmark of her personality because some changes only happen through persistence... and Reiko had time to work towards her goals. Over a few years, she studied under several masters to learn the way of the sword and the code of Bushido. With more time, she earned a reputation as a skilled warrior, worthy of respect. Eventually, she earned the Dai-sho - the two swords of the Samurai - in the service of the Daimyo Murakama.

Reiko would have been content to serve her daimyo, write poems, and practice her calligraphy. But war came and Murakama was not on the winning side. Honorable death in battle would have been fine. Unfortunately, Murakama's enemies were not honorable men. Tricked and captured, Murakama's death came not from an enemy's blade or his own (as tradition dictated)... but he was hung like a common criminal. It was a poor death and a dishonorable one witnessed by all of his surviving samurai. It was a despicable act that demanded revenge for her dishonored lord... and Reiko made plans to separate the enemies' heads from their bodies,

On the wide field bearing the swinging corpse of Murakama, his dispirited samurai were given a choice: change their allegiance, commit seppuku (suicide), or become outcasts. Reiko couldn't entertain the idea of joining the enemy. Death was a simple and honorable solution, but it would leave her lost lord unavenged. With a single swift move she snapped her wakizashi and threw it aside, breaking the Dai-sho. For good or ill, she had chosen the third option, to become a masterless wanderer - a Ronin. And in that, she found a new purpose - to slay Murakama's enemies. But, for now, her enemies were powerful, wary, and most importantly - treacherous. Reiko had no doubts that if she remained in the Dragon Empire, she would meet with an arranged accident. So she quickly left the lands of her birth and traveled to Avistan to write poetry, master the sword, and await the right opportunity to return the Dragon Empire and avenge her fallen lord.

In the stirring of her blood, Reiko had always felt the touch of Shizuru, the Empress of Heaven, calling her to do something glorious and worthy of legend. On that bloody ground, watching the flies gather on her lord - heart broken but resolve firm - Reiko was sure this was the task Shizuru called her to complete.

Personality:

Reiko is well-spoken, thoughtful, and quiet - rarely using ten words when five will do. Despite her innate reserve, Reiko has a ready (if shy) smile, laughs easily, and takes delight in things of beauty. Her temperament is placid - very little seems to upset her. Some people assume she is passive but that is a mistake. She acts as she needs to, without hesitation, and without ego. Rarely does she telegraph her actions by revealing her mood. At heart, Reiko is a poet-warrior (though she sees herself as more poet than warrior) and her goal is to achieve mastery in both fields - the quill and the katana. The only thing that periodically weighs on her, is the dishonor of being ronin. At those times, she retreats into her poetry until she can master the mood.

DM Questions:

Who are you and how are you doing?
Hi! I'm doing well, thanks. Who am I? Wow, that question can be answered in so many interesting ways... but I'll start by saying that I'm an older gamer with a career, a wife, and an aging dachshund who is 20 lbs of meat and 200 lbs of personality.

How often do you tend to post?
I can almost always post once a day unless work is absolutely slamming. When work/life is going at a normal pace (which it is now), I can post several times a day... and I tend to post a lot if the RP is awesome or we are in combat, to keep the pace up.

What kind of tone are you looking for in this game?
I like a mix of tones - from deadly serious to some light-hearted antics.

What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Expect? Nothing. What I'd like would be some solid team play, a lack of divas/egos, some fun OOC banter, and maybe the hope of making some online friends who I would like to play with again.

What do you expect out of me (the GM)?
I expect the game to be a fun collaboration not 'us vs the DM'. Going along with that, I expect your rulings to be fair and consistent. Note, that doesn't mean the game can't be hard-as-hell or the odds stacked against our characters... as long as the rules are fair, I'm happy. Personally, I enjoy uphill battles, challenging situations, and sometimes having to run for my life to stay alive. So don't be afraid to throw the kitchen sink at us. Aside from that, I'd like for our relationship to be friendly and cooperative. If you've got a problem with something happening with the characters (mine or others), say something - either publicly or privately. I'm happy to work with folks on any issues so everyone has a good time.

What is your comfort zone? Where's the line for you in RP terms?
I'm OK with pretty much anything. Can I RP a romance? Yep. Does graphic violence bother me? Nope, not if it makes sense in context. Do I mind tough moral conundrums, maybe where there is no right answer? Bring'em on! I love stuff like that.

How do you see your character progressing as a character?
Reiko is going to multiclass between Samurai and Monk (mostly favoring Samurai). The idea is to build her towards being a true poet-warrior and the idealized version of the samurai who is civilized and cultured as well as a highly skilled warrior. On a personal level, Reiko will be trying to become truly zen and master the sword. While it would be nice if she could exact vengeance for her fallen lord, I'm not necessarily expecting that you'll be able to work that into the module.

Okay, PMs have been sent. I'll start going over submissions tomorrow. Given that there's almost fifty people applying, and only fourteen who haven't submitted characters, I'm not going to be able to give feedback beyond things being missing.

Remember, you have until Monday 11:00pm CDT (GMT-5) to get your submissions in.

All of that said, I have been floored by the response this has gotten. I appreciate all of the time and effort you guys have put into this, and if I could, I'd run multiple tables. Sadly, I am only going to be able to manage one table, and I'm going to try and keep party size down to five. I was planning this even before the massive response you guys have given, so yeah... This is going to be hard. :)

APs always seem to get a sizable response. Good luck to us all. :)

Still working on my character :)
He is an old geezer Incanter focused on the Telepshere.
Tho I am finding that a lvl 1 character doesnt have many talents to work with...
Crunch (so far, its a wip) is in my main alias. I anticipate needing most of the week to finish it to a satisfactory level.
Now lets see if I cant beat those 1 in 10 odds >:)

Reiko is ready for review. Slap me with a fish if I missed something you requested.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I think I am going to withdraw my application. I do really want to play this AP but I just got accepted into 2 other PBPs that I apped to, and this PBP has been one of the most outrageous list of apped characters I have seen in a while.

Good luck all, and have fun!

Just need to work on equipment, as I started with medium GP and not maximal GP

I added a "Mamma Dalligen meals for evryday" in my equipment : Atsushia's mom book of personal recipes and cooking tips, her most treasured possession

Good luck to all.

Tweaked my backstory. The updated one is stored in my profile.

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

My name will be Ionatali Vasilescu- Ion (pronounced Yōn) for short, and it should be "Magus (Kapenia Dancer*/Eldritch Scion)". I'm working on creating an alias right now and I'll be filling it with things whenever i get the time/lucidity. In terms of role he's probably a fifth slot kind of guy: face skills, secondary melee, secondary arcane, that 'je ne sais quoi' that just adds something to any party ;)

*bladed scarf dancer, if you're using the pfsrd

The Exchange

I'll withdraw too..too many people. Sort of feel bad since I am in quite a number of PBPs, it isn't as if I don't get a chance to play...

Dark Archive

I figured Id just have an Idle time enjoying a moment of humor. Who doesn't enjoy Casual Rp?

Standing on the road near the Rusty Dragon, a large man wearing a finely crafted suit of bandedmail looks over his surroundings with pitch black eyes. His head adorned with black, crystal-like spikes that seemed to be in place of his hair but also covered his knuckles and jetted slightly from his elbows.
Over his shoulders, A masterly crafted steel great sword with an 8 foot blade rested. An equally massive arm hung off the 3 foot hilt for balance. The blade itself seemed plain, despite the smoothness and shine of the craftsmanship.

Standing at six feet and eight inches tall, he was not hidden or out of site. Strangely, his standing there never altered, is if waiting for something or someone.

On lookers kept their distance, vehicles and horses simply moved around him.

yikes... I just spent nearly 2 hours slogging through avatars only to learn that there are zero decent male gypsies to choose from.

Here's the profile in progress though I'm considering maybe gender swapping... I like the character male, probably at least partly because all of the good Varisian characters I've know (PC and NPC) have been female, but I'm pretty picky about my avatars and there are waaaaay more good options as a female.

:(

Good luck everyone!

Still here :) will have submission in in the next couple of days.

I am still interested, but given the large number of applicants and the fact that two of the concepts I had in mind have been well represented here, I'll bow out -- wishing everyone the best of luck.
