"Who's gone? Where did they go?" asks Kalani.

"The master. The dwarves. All gone... adandoned or dead."

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar Shaman 2

"How? How did they die?"

"They tried to leave because they lost faith and brought down the wrath of the master. He smashed the cowards, but ultimate brought about his own destruction." A silty tear almost forms in the creature's eye.

I'm assuming that Gristogar's room has only one door, and the other end of the hallway above room 10 is closed.

The squad reposition themselves at the west door in room 7. Stevesie, holding his sword and the torch, puts an ear to the door to listen.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

EDIT
Stevesie motions for the team to be alert. He then slightly nudges the door ajar and peers in.

Ulfgar also quietly searches the closet to the north of room 7.

perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Ulfgar doesn't find anything in the closet, but does see a secret door that rests behind Gristogar’s carving table, opened by depressing a square stone on the floor under the table (Search DC 20).

Stevesie suggests we take the secret door in room 10. Stevesie lines up the group and opens the door.

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar Shaman 2

"Aye, let's go through that door. Let's be cautious."

Simple stone benches line the walls of this octagonal room. These benches are positioned near small openings along the west, northwest, and northeast walls. An unusual device that resembles a stone trumpet is attached to the northeast wall near the opening. A faint whispering sound permeates this chamber.

Grand Lodge

M Human HP 8/19, - AC 17/T: 14/FF: 13 - Perception +5 - F: +2/ R: +7/ W: +3 - CMB: +1 - CMD: 15, Speed: 30, Init. +4 Spells/day 1st 1/3

Stevesie listens and attempts to find the source of the noise.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Stevesie recommends casting detect magic on the trumpet, or blowing into it, depends on if you want to be heard from again or not.

Before Stevesie can decide on what to do with the trumpet, a malignant cloud of shadows boils in the air, its skeletal maw eerily babbling as the creature's claws manifest from the darkness.

Everyone needs to make a will DC15 save.

Those that fail gain the fascinated status:

Fascinated

A fascinated creature is entranced by a supernatural or spell effect. The creature stands or sits quietly, taking no actions other than to pay attention to the fascinating effect, for as long as the effect lasts. It takes a –4 penalty on skill checks made as reactions, such as Perception checks. Any potential threat, such as a hostile creature approaching, allows the fascinated creature a new saving throw against the fascinating effect. Any obvious threat, such as someone drawing a weapon, casting a spell, or aiming a ranged weapon at the fascinated creature, automatically breaks the effect. A fascinated creature’s ally may shake it free of the spell as a standard action.

Stevesie Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Stevesie stands still, listening to the music from the trumpet.

FYI, I'm waiting to see the overall results before taking the creatures turn. It won't go after the fascinated folks to start, so I need to know who's affected.

Then, he moves away from the ghostlike creature.

Did we update the combat map? Because Stevesie is next to the creature and Kalani is not adjacent to it. If the map is correct, I believe that Stevesie gets a new saving throw because a creature has walked next to him and is threatening him (5 feet).

Stevesie tries to come back to reality, and away from the haunting music.

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Also is my turn spent on breaking from the fascination or do I still have actions left?

Folks don't get an updated will save unless it attacks you. I'll move the creature on the map adjacent to Kalani.

It's still Kalani's turn though, unless he just wants to move.

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar Shaman 2

I used my action to wake up Ulfgar (standard action).

If shaking Ulfgar awake doesn't work, you could try attacking him. According to what rob posted it should immediately wake him up.

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar Shaman 2

It should work. Above it says: A fascinated creature’s ally may shake it free of the spell as a standard action.

The malevolent cloud of darkness continues to rake at Kalani with skeletal claws.

Ulfgar Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 misses at 21.

Kalani is up again.

Kalani takes a 5 ft step and wakes Churdon with a rough shake.
"Wake up Churdon! We're under attack!"

Churdon wakes up and may go at 15...

Grand Lodge

M Elf Magus/2 HP: 15/17 AC: 18

Churdon takes his time to draw from his magic inside him to enhance his weapon (+1 bonus) and wakes up Stevesie.

"Get up Stevesie!"

Technically yelling won't be enough; Stevesie will have to make a perception check to see if he wakes up to the yelling.

Grand Lodge

M Human HP 8/19, - AC 17/T: 14/FF: 13 - Perception +5 - F: +2/ R: +7/ W: +3 - CMB: +1 - CMD: 15, Speed: 30, Init. +4 Spells/day 1st 1/3

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Not sure what I need to roll to sense the danger. Otherwise Stevesie continues to listen and hum along to the music from the instrument in the center of the room.

Stevesie wakes up and can act...

Stevesie snaps out of his trance, "Let me at him!" He approaches the beat and takes a swing.

Shortsword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Stevesie swings, but his sword passes right through the creature.

Round 2

dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Bort Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

crit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
crit damage: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 3) + 3 = 14

Ulfgar fires a shot straight through the creature's midsection but the arrow passes straight through it. Unphased, it continues to attack Kalani.

touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

The rest are up.

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar Shaman 2

Kalani uses his Monstrous knowledge ability to attempt to identify what would be effective against such a creature.

Knowledge: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 +6 for Nature, +7 for Planes or Religion, and +2 for the rest (untrained)

Kalani recognizes the creature as an allip, an undead incorporeal creature.

Grand Lodge

M Human HP 8/19, - AC 17/T: 14/FF: 13 - Perception +5 - F: +2/ R: +7/ W: +3 - CMB: +1 - CMD: 15, Speed: 30, Init. +4 Spells/day 1st 1/3

Stevesie is confused and doesn't know what to do.

Stevesie turns his rear end to the imp and lets out a noisy and smelly fart.

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar Shaman 2

"It's an undead incorporeal creature! We gotta use magic against it, mon!" Shouts Kalani while looking at Churdon.

Do I know if this would be immune to sleep?

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/s/sleep/

Sleep does not target unconscious creatures, constructs, or undead creatures.

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar Shaman 2

Ok. My turn is done then.
