Background:
Ulfgard Ungart was born a dwarf of the Dwengard Mountains, a proud and powerful group of dwarves. However, before he had reached 20 years old, his home was attacked and destroyed by a massive horde of orcs, lead by Adoroar the savage.Ulfgard was forced to flee and managed to escape with a small band of survivors. His family, unfortunately, were all slain. Over the next 30 years, the dwarven refugees made the long pilgrimage to the neighboring dwarf kingdom of Nogrod, which required passage through the infamous Darkmoon Wood. It was here where Ulfgard discovered his talent and passion for hunting. Through the time tested method of trial and error, Ulfgard quickly learned to shoot arrows and track animals, and excelled at communicating with wild animals. After spending so much time in the wilderness, he began to dread the idea of returning to the dark and confined mines he grew up in, and decided he would leave his companions once the Nogrod range was in sight, and continue to live in the Darkmoon woods. Ulfgard separated from his friends and began constructing a home near the town of Falcon’s Hollow, so he could exchange pelts for various supplies. Soon after, he met a tiger with whom he shared an instant connection. After much discussion with the beast, he decided to make it his pet, and named it Bort
